Joslyn James interview

The statement "do not believe everything you hear" can definitely be applied to Joslyn James. It's unfortunate that the public already has an image of this woman without ever hearing her side or getting to know her. This talented lady does not deserve to be defined by that one relationship that everyone has ingrained in their heads. By having interviewed her, I was surprised by many of her responses and appreciated her taking the time to do this interview. I will always be grateful to her.  I also can't wait to hear her songs and to see her in those videos that will be coming out in the near future. I always knew that she had a lot to offer this industry and now, others will begin to appreciate her as well.

Hi Joslyn, I admire your dedication to give back to the less fortunate as you do with a percentage of your total sales from your glass adult toys. Where did that compassionate heart of yours come from? Did you have it as a young girl?

I have always been a caring person. I'm not the type to stand by and watch when I can do something to help. Even the smallest act of kindness can mean the world to someone that needs it. I've been this way since I was a child in my hometown of Mayfield, NY. 
 
You are also well known for your exciting dance shows. How does it feel to meet your fans and to dance in front of this loyal bunch?

I was born to entertain. I've been putting on performances for as long as I can remember. And being able to put on a show for my fans, its great. Everyone has a great time along with myself.
 
Your Vivid film The 11th Hole has received rave reviews. I personally gave it a highly recommended rating. How was the experience of re-creating the scenes and making them into an adult production?

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. That really means a lot to me because I must tell you, It was intense, very different then anything I've ever done in the adult biz. Because I got to Fuck how I do in my personal life. No one telling what they want. They actually said "So Fuck how you and TW fucked." So that's how it was for the most part. We did get naughtier, but you get the idea.
 
A major component of the movie is the text messages that you and Tiger sent to each other during your relationship. What are your thoughts about having them placed in the film and who had the idea that these private and intimate conversations should be a part of this production?

Steve Hirsch suggested it and I guess it fit.
 
How did you first meet Tiger? How long did your relationship with him last? I could tell from your text messages that you were so excited to hear from him.

We met in Las Vegas. We were together for 3 years and we were both happy to hear from one another.
  
How were you able to keep your relationship with him private? You must have been weary that it could come out in public?

Contrary to popular belief, I am a private person that keeps my personal life private. It was a concern, but I was always very careful.
 
When was the last time that you had any contact with him?

That fateful Thanksgiving Day.
 
How long have you been in the adult industry, what have been your most pleasurable moments? What has been your least pleasurable?

I got into the adult biz in 2005. My most pleasurable moments have been getting to learn more about myself sexually and learning new techniques. My least pleasurable have been the mean things that people say. It hurts, but I've learned to consider the source. 
 
How did you get into the adult industry?

I was dating Jon Jon who had been in the biz for a while and it just happened on accident.
 
What was the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry when you started?

It wasn't anything like I envisioned it to be.
 
Are there any industry people (actors, actresses, directors, etc. ) who you have not had the opportunity to work with yet and want to very badly and why? What would be your dream scene?

There are many I would like to work with. No one in particular. Damn that's a hard question to answer, hmmm.
 
There is no doubt that when people see you in person or on film that your gorgeous looks are stunning to one's eyes. You will definitely be a sex siren on screen. You are that hot. In your opinion, what makes a man sexy? What makes a woman sexy? What traits of a man do you admire? What traits of a woman do you admire?

What makes a man and woman sexy...traits I admire is a good sense of humor and honesty. That's it in a nut shell.
  
What are your interests and hobbies?

I love doing laundry. Yes, I said laundry. I like doing things outdoors like fishing and camping and I'm a huge sports fan. 
  
How were you as a kid?

I was a social butterfly. I was part of everything from class officer to captain of the cheerleading squad and I participated in pageants and performing arts.
 
Are there any other projects that you would like to promote?

I have a lot of things up my sleeves, but for now, my line of glass toys, my Vivid movie, and I have some songs coming out. As of right now, that's all I can really talk about.
