Mia Isabella interview

One of the most successful adult stars in the industry happens to be Mia Isabella. She is an award winner with legions of fans world-wide. It's the fact that she is a transexual that has prevented her from reaching the top heights of superstar status. Nevertheless, this lady has everything that would make her deserving of that plateau. Her exotic looks and erotic sexual performances make her films memorable. I also love that she has the same mindset as I do when it comes to pairing transexuals with women. Studios have to do it more often. Mia Isabella is the perfect woman to lead the way to the promise land. 

Hi Mia, I enjoyed your performance in America's Next Top Tranny, Season 7. I also want to congratulate you on your XBiz win for Transexual Performer of the Year and nomination for Transexual Release of the Year for Transsexual Superstars: Mia Isabella. How long have you been in the industry? What have been your most pleasurable moments so far? What has been your least pleasurable?
 
I came into the industry at the age of 19, so it's been about 6 years since my debut with TGirls 3. I would have to say that my most pleasurable moments have been the launch of my site a couple years back, as well as being able to work with my fiance in my most recent projects. My least pleasurable would have to be dealing with an obsessive stalking fan who really made me scared. At one point, it was kind of creepy.

How did you get into the adult industry?

I contacted someone with an adult model profile on a sex site and asked for advice. She and her manager invited me to California and before I knew it, I filmed my first DVD and website appearances.

What does all of the recognition that you receive from fans and peers mean to you?

It means so much to be appreciated for my work. It makes me feel like everything I do is worth it and makes me love what I do even more.

What traits of a woman do you admire most? What makes a woman sexy? What traits of a man do you admire most? What makes a man sexy?
 
Traits I admire about a man or woman are pretty similar for both. I find confidence and a sweet smile to be the sexiest and most attractive thing. There has to be a balance in humility and confidence, but arrogance is the biggest turn off.

A huge turn-on for me is watching a transexual making love with a woman. Unfortunately, the studios do not make as many of those types of scenes.
 
I think that would be very sexy and I've actually never done a scene like that and am kind of getting turned on by the idea. I have done a scene with a woman (Ashli Orion)--it was my first.

Mia Isabella: "Apache, what are your thoughts on being paired up with a man and a woman?"

Apache Warrior: I think that seeing a transexual and a woman making love is highly erotic. I love those scenes the most when it comes to transexual performances. It's a shame that studios do not realize how much of a receptive market is looming out there for that type of action on screen. I hope that they wake up and make more of them. It will be a huge winner to them as well as to the viewers. In my opinion, films that match transexuals with women will be more profitable.

What was the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry when you started?

The biggest surprise for me was how popular I became in such a short period of time. I never expected to have been able to reach such a broad international audience.

Are there any particular industry talent (actors, actresses, directors, studios) who you want to work very badly with and why? What would be your dream scene?

At the moment, I can’t really say as there are a few things I'm working on, but I have to say so far in my career everything I’ve dreamed of doing I’ve been able to do. I’ve been really blessed to be able to work with amazing companies and talent and hope to continue to do so.

How were you as a kid growing up?

I was silly and happy and involved in many social activities. I grew up playing classical violin and being president of different social clubs, so I was lucky to have many friends. I had a great childhood and enjoyed being raised in the South very much. I can’t complain.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I really enjoy just being able to relax when I’m not filming and traveling. I am learning not to spread myself so thin, but I do love fashion, travel, and fine dining.

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?

My favorite thing is being able to share my erotic nature with the world and know that all over the world people are lusting after me.

Are there any web sites or future projects that you would like to promote? What are you currently working on film wise?

I actually have my first TS/Girl scene with Ashli Orion coming to my official site soon and am featured in the new Penthouse book called "Confessions of the 100 Hottest Pornstars." It will be for sale on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
