In 2011, XCritic introduced forty six “Newcomers & Fresh Faces”, through my monthly column who entered the industry during the year. I have spent countless hours watching, researching and following newcomers each and every month. In fact, over the year I have looked at over 200 young ladies new to the business to be part of this prestigious group.

As I have sorted through many exciting young ladies, I have always looked for the complete package that makes them stand out above the others. There are a few exceptions, but since very few, if any deliver total flawless scenes right from the start, I really look hard at their over all potential in growing into a strong and exciting starlet. I look at their sex scene performance, but also what they show in building and growing in that area. I look at them on how they handle themselves professionally and positive with their fans and others in the industry. From their acting skills to the love they have for the business and their career, to talking with others in the industry about them. All of this comes into consideration in making the list.

As I watch and follow many newcomers who only care to complain about not getting shoots, that they are broke, bitch about other performers and industry people and then constantly tweet begging people buy them something from their wish list, it not only turns me off, but disgust me in many ways. Those newcomers I move away from fast and actually turn me off so much, I cannot even get a woody watching them. I hate being so hard about all of this, but I strongly believe if they would put that same energy into positive ways in getting shoots, they wouldn’t be complaining. They would be booking and shooting scenes. XCritic's 2011 "Top Fresh Faces" are those who put their energy in the right direction to become a star.

William Johnsen once said, “If it is to be, it is up to me”. These are words I have always lived by and have raised my family in the same way. When a young lady enters this business, they have to understand and realize that there is no agent, company, producer, director or anyone else in the industry that can make it for them. These people can only help in the process. The initial commitment, drive and focus has to come from the newcomer herself and right from the start. Another words they have to realize, “If it is to be, it is up to me”.

Five young ladies this year, have shown this in many different ways and it was all from the beginning. They are the cream of the crop of all the newcomers who have entered this business in 2011 and have earned every right in being selected as “XCritic’s 2011 Top 5 Fresh Faces”. Yes, Riley Reid, Mary Jane Marley, Cassandra Nix, Emma Ash and Tracey Sweet stand out from all the others in every aspect that I look for in a newcomer and I personally congratulate them in being “XCritic’s 2011 Top Fresh Faces’.

Riley Reid

In our August “Newcomers & Fresh Faces” column, we introduced a very sweet and exciting young lady, Riley Reid. Instantly, she caught the industries attention in every aspect and has continued over the past four months to keep herself right at the top of my radar. When I look at Riley, I not only see this adorable young lady who performs very well. But I see someone who loves the business, her fans, others in the industry and shows continued appreciation to all.

In her short time in the business, Riley now has six DVD’s out with titles like “It's Okay She's My Step Daughter 9“ and, “I'm Young Dumb and Thirsty for Cum 4“. Riley, can be found on Twitter @RileyReidx3 tweeting about her day and with her fans. Lock your radar tight on this little cutie, cause I believe there are some powerful things to come from her in 2012.

Mary Jane Marley

Of all the newcomers I have come across, I would I have say that Mary Jane Marley was a bit different than any other. Usually, I find them though a scene or on Twitter. But, Mary Jane I actually met before I saw any of her work. I was attending an industry event and just sitting back and OK, checking out the girls who were present. There was one young lady, that when my eyes locked onto her, from that point on they wandered in no other direction. When, I was asked if I had met the brand new girl in porn and then found out it was the girl I had been staring at all night, well let me tell you, you have never seen an old guy like me move so fucking fast to get over to her.

I was very intrigued not only with her beauty, but her overall uniqueness on who she was. Mary Jane, enjoys every moment of life and has total fun along the way. So diversified and open to scenes, she has worked for Bratty Foot Girls, Facial Abuse, Bombshell Brats, Burning Angel, East Coast Cuties and more. I featured her in XCritic’s July “Newcomers & Fresh Faces” column and she has continually delivered all what I expected. Cassandra Nix

When I mentioned earlier that is is unusual for a newcomer to put out powerful and flawless scenes right from the start. I did also mention there are a few exceptions to the rule and Cassandra Nix is one of those. I first caught Cassandra, in her ManoJob scene and can’t remember when was the last time that I went back and jerked off to a scene so many times as I did hers. When I featured Cassandra in XCritic’s August “Newcomer & Fresh Faces” column, there wasn’t a lot out yet, but I felt very confident she was going to quickly climb to the top in every aspect from performance to her personality.

Since August, Cassandra has been wide open in delivering performances and being so positive with everyone in all she does. Already with fifteen dvds out, each has been strong including dvds like, “My Little Panties 3“ and “Trained Teens 4“. I truly belive you will see Cassandra Nix forge ahead in her career as a leading and top adult performer. Follow this young lady closely, cause she has caught a lot of attention. Emma Ash

Emma Ash, was just recently featured in XCritic’s November “Newcomer & Fresh Faces” column and has continued to hold my attention every moment and in every way. Watching her you quickly fall in love with this sweet and adorable young lady. From her cute appearance to a sweet sounding voice that will bust your nut all on your own, she brings this uniqueness to the screen that very few others can or do. What I really like about Emma, is that this same girl you see on screen, is the same off screen on her Twitter @EmmaAshX or wherever you follow her.

If you havn’t had a chance to watch her exciting performances, you need too. She will keep your attention from the moment she comes on the screen and have you jerking off non stop till the end. In addition to web based scenes, she now has four dvd’s out including “Oil Covered Asses" and “We Swallow 34“. Emma, is a package unique to herself in every aspect and one to keep your eye on as her career moves on.

Tracey Sweet

What does Tracey Sweet not bring to the industry? Well, actually she brings it all. It was a combination of her sweetness, great attitude, strong potential in performances and the fact she is so fucking cute, just topped it all off for me as I featured her in XCritic’s September “Newcomers & Fresh Faces” column. I fell in love with this young lady right from the very first scene I saw of her on ManoJob. Everything I saw in her was recently capped off, when I had a few moments to personally visit with her during, Exxxotica NJ as she was on her way into a shoot. She was everything I expected and more.

In addition to her ManoJob scene, she has shot for Score, Immoral Productions, Feet of Philly and Tickle Cuties. Yes, she has a lot of diversification in the types of shoots she can do and she now has her first dvd released, “I'm Young Dumb and Thirsty for Cum 4“. She is active and positive on Twitter @TraceySweet_XXX where she spends time keeping her fans up to date and tweeting with them. Tracey, is one I am keeping a close eye on and you should too.

2011, has been an over wellming year with newcomers entering the business. But, as always many have short lived careers as the commitment needed is not there. The fantastic young ladies that we have come across this year and introduced through this monthly column, have all been those who are a notch above the others in every aspect. I personally congratulate all forty six young ladies who have been part of a elite group in being selected over the months as one of XCritic’s “Newcomers & Fresh Faces”. You have all earned it and deserve it in every way.
