Daejha Milan, Creator & Organizer of the Adult Film Festival Las Vegas

 

Much credit deserves to go to Daejha Milan in conceiving and organizing the first Adult Film Festival in Las Vegas. Her love for this industry is limitless and priceless. For that reason, I expect this event to be educational and entertaining. The seminars alone are going to provide so much rich information to any fan or adult industry-minded individual. There will be lots of adult entertainers present throughout this event. Even the legendary Janine Lindemulder will be one of the cohosts for the "Red Carpet After Party".

 

 

AFFLV is about uniting our Industry for those of us who still have a passion for being Pornographers! Amateurs and Professionals alike are Welcome to Join the AFFLV Family. AFFLV would love to incorporate Gay, TS and BBW as well, in the coming years! This is going to be a HUGE Event year after year and we want to recognize every aspect of our Industry. AFFLV is set to take place at Cashman Convention Hall A, in Downtown Las Vegas, NV. October 16-18, 2015. All Verifiable Disabled, Military (active or retired), Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS Personnel will be permitted Early Entry 10 am as well as discounted entry before the Public comes in at Noon 12 pm, on all 3 Days. Must have proof of ID and all Attendees must be 21 and older to attend. Hours are from 10 am to 10 pm Friday, October 16. 10 am to 10 pm Saturday, Oct 17th and 10 am to 7 pm Sunday October 18th.

Hustler Las Vegas is one of our Sponsors and they are hosting our "Red Carpet After Party" Hosted by Janine Lindemulder, Kianna Bradley, Nikki Phoenix, Misty Stone and more Saturday Oct 17th at 11 pm. Tickets also available online. An Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday the 18th from 6 pm to 7 pm during the last hour of the show, from the Main Stage. We are making this Inaugural Event very intimate for our Exhibitors and Attendees. You will only find those who are relevant to the Industry, exhibiting. We have a handful of Exhibitors, some Awesome Seminar Speakers and one heck of a movie lineup! Night at the Erotic Museum will be screening twice a day, all three days and that's just one of our amazing films added to the screening que! Ladies get in free on Sunday!

I personally organized this event to recognize the individuals and companies who still love what they do in spite of the turn our Industry has taken. I think there are many talented individuals who do not have the opportunity to showcase their work otherwise without getting lost in the sea of what's available online now. I wanted those people to be able to have a voice and show the world what they can do. That's what AFFLV is all about. Promoting Your Brand and showing the world who YOU are as talent and as a producer/website operator. I made this event affordable for everyone because my main goal is to bring success to every exhibitor and to enhance the attendee's experience. There is a joint effort at play here. Porn has been around for decades and will continue to exist for decades to come. I am a positive person and I try to have a positive outlook on life and my business dealings, even when sometimes it can be negative. I understand that businesses have to do what they feel is right to run their business. However, I personally do not believe I have to destroy someone else's to be successful. I read somewhere online that even the free sites are seeing their well run dry and now are making a Netflix style monthly subscription site, for Porn. So even, they are seeing that it's not beneficial to give free porn to the world. In my opinion, they should have done that in the first place. I see more and more couples getting into porn, especially women! I know there is a market for all kinds of porn and fetish. I don't see any one being more relevant than another because each genre reaches out to both similar and different demographics. It's all relevant!

 

Could you tell us your background in the adult industry?

 

My name is Daejha Milan. I was brought into Porn back in the 1900's (lol 1999 to be exact) by a chance meeting with Ron Jeremy and Tawny Ocean. I had no idea who either of them were when we met. A week later, I was shooting my first girl/girl for Elegant Angel. In the coming years, I became one of the female talent Rodney Moore would shoot continuously. I've worked for all the big companies (back when they existed) and am absolutely in love with our Industry, our fans and the people in it! I took some time off in 2005 and came back from 2007 to 2008. I had a baby in 2009 and spent the next few years at home with my son. In 2013, I decided it was time for the Industry to have it's own Film Festival. Hence AFFLV! I currently own and run DaeDreamz Productions simultaneously with AFFLV.

What type of response have you received from the adult industry for this event?

 

I have had an overwhelmingly positive response from the Adult Industry. For that, I am forever grateful to those who are supporting me, not only this year but the following years to come. I am doing something different and innovative. I am not trying to emulate any other Industry Events. I want AFFLV to stand out on its own as different from the rest. I have much respect for AVN and EXXXOTICA for pioneering the Special Events field, years before AFFLV. I want EVERYONE in our Industry to come together and show the world that we are united and that together Adult is as relevant as any other forms of Entertainment out there! It saddens me to see division within our Industry and I'd love to see that change over the next few years. AFFLV has exhibited with AVN these past two years because we believe in supporting every aspect of our Industry and the companies involved. You will even find our ad in Exxxotica's Show Guide! I am inviting everyone to come together and support all of us, together! No more division.

Will there be any awards given out for the submitted films?

 

Yes, AFFLV will be giving beautiful Crystal Diamonds to each of our winning, "Diamonds in the Rough" Filmmakers. I have always been someone who is differential in life. Therefore, everything I do I try to make unique and new. Plus every trophy I've ever won has been destroyed in a move or in storage. I wanted a trophy that let my filmmakers know that they are appreciated and something that would stand the test of time. The diamonds are beautiful and who doesn't love Bling?!?!

Any final thoughts that you would like to leave for our readers or any potential people who could assist you in this event?

 

We here at AFFLV appreciate the overwhelming amount of support from not only those in the Industry but, our Fans and Attendees alike! I realized a long time ago as an actress, that it's not the Producers who make us, it's our fans. Without you there would've been no me!
