Start Filming Your Own Content.

If you have a phone then you can start taking pictures and videos for yourself. Two other low cost, easy to use accessories are a selfie stick and light ring tripod. They are both remote control operated and can be ordered on Amazon. If you do not have a friend/partner who will be doing these things for you, then these are the best choices for you to begin your venture into becoming a content creator in the adult industry. Choose what you want to film based on what you enjoy. The great thing about filming your own content is that it’s all up to you.

Choose the best platform to sell your content.

Luckily in 2020, there are a ton of choices of websites that you can choose to sell your content on. As for which to go with just depends on what type of content you film. There are also a lot of webcam companies you can choose that allow you to work from home or any location remotely. Both of these are great ways to build a fan base. Webcam allows you to chat and perform live so that customers can get to know you. Clip stores allow you to sell pre-recorded material of your choice. Everyone has different types of clips and there are plenty of platforms that cater to all forms of entertainment so depending on what you are into will help you to choose which platform is best for you.

Do research. Look into the companies to see what type of content they shoot, the talent that has offered to shoot with you to see who they have worked with in the past or how long they have been in the industry.

Some choose to go the route of an agency while others self-book. There are several reputable agents out there but again do your research. Make sure you read contracts before signing them. If an agency says they cannot get work for you, don’t take it personally. Move on to someone else or self-book. It is better to have honest agents than ones who promise you things that do not happen. Many models self-book these days and it is possible as many companies do have model applications on their websites.
A recent trend is for talent to trade content with each other. This means that each of the talents gets a copy of the video to sell. When it comes to trade content, make sure all participating talent is tested. It is your responsibility. Make sure everyone involved agrees to how the content will be sold, when it will be released, that all parties receive a copy, and that all paperwork is filled out. Remember when you are shooting your own content, you are responsible for all aspects of the shoot including the legal paperwork.
