The XCritic Interview: Suzanne Ferrari

So, every once in a while, a porn insider has the ability to use his powers for something “beneficial.” Every writer/critic/blogger wishes to be the first to bring the fans something unique, showcase the hidden find that will become the “next big thing.” How do you define what is that next big thing in a world where taboo rules and romance seems to be fading? First thing you do, you find the person who has the largest amount of respect from performers both past and present. As I searched high and low for this person I found out that there was not a lot “new” in the world of XXX that fans had not already seen before. Then, I met new starlet Vanessa Vega and everything changed. Long story short, she told me a personal story about our featured producer in this week's XCritic Interview. A story that I had heard many times before. Suzanne Ferrari is a woman who has been known in this business as the gal who will “get you things.” Yes, just like in Shawshank Redemption, she delivers and I mean delivers always. One of the modern industry's greatest production assistants and marketing geniuses, Suzanne for years has been the person that helped shape my interviews into something marvelous with her work ethic and insight into the shoots with the performers worth following. As I found out with this meeting with new starlet Vanessa Vega, Suzanne was working on something top-secret and it was something no one had ever seen before. So, on a Monday night, after our long work schedules were complete, I texted the woman of wonder known as Suzanne, and she talked to me about SlutInspection.com, her new website created with husband Dan Ferrari, another beloved soul in the business. Long story short, I convinced this amazing woman to tell us her story at XCritic and give us the 411 on everything this new project means to her. What we found out is that there truly are things we have never seen in XXX if we look hard enough for them.

Don Juan: I really have to say as we begin, I loved what Slut Inspection looks like. The press has just been awesome to read about.

Suzanne Ferrari: Why thank you.

Don Juan: You know, where I would love to start this interview, because what I think most fans will not know, is that the great Suzanne Ferrari, you began as a production assistant in this industry, and I think what that shows is that this is a one of a kind website. Tell us about how you found your way to the production side of things in the adult film world.

Suzanne Ferrari: OK, now this is kind of a crazy story.

Don Juan: That is my favorite kind of story madam.

Suzanne Ferrari: Well, the short version is that my husband (Dan Ferrari) and I were living in New Jersey, and he had just gone on tour with his band, which took him/us to Los Angeles. We got there, and we simply did not want to come back.

(We share a massive laugh together.)

Let’s be honest, who would want to come back to New Jersey after being in Los Angeles? It was right there that we made a decision. We sold everything that we owned, we packed up our car, gathered our four cats and I drove across the country all by myself. Once I arrived I had a little difficulty getting settled, so I began working in the healthcare field first when we moved out here. It was actually Dan who got a job working as a production assistant first. Then, the company that I was working for ended up going out of business, and once again I found myself looking for a job. It was Dan who got me a job as a production manager on set and I worked that job for about four years.

My job consisted of doing a lot of things. Driving the girls to set. Making sure that everything was right with their make-up, helping them pick-out outfits for their scene and of course making sure everything was correct with paperwork, booking, and those sorts of things. There is a lot that goes into this job that people would ever think. It was then that I was offered a job with Claudio and PervCity.com and that job was a little more my style. Working for Perv City was not your typical production manager gig. This job would have me more behind a desk and dealing with paperwork, and I am not onset as much as I used to be. When I began in this business I was on set for about twenty to twenty-five days a month. Now, I am only on set about four times a month. The rest of the time I am running social media, I am running the website, getting everything going in terms of marketing. I feel that all the skills, all the experience that I gained from my time with Perv City are exactly what I needed to begin my own website.

Don Juan: Wow, so this is a tale about how you took those skills and used them to progress into something you love even more within the business. You had something blossoming into something larger for yourself. There is nothing better than that in this life, and this industry for that matter. I love this tale you just told because it is a tale that no one would believe could come from our industry.

Suzanne Ferrari: Right!

Don Juan: Oh yes, I love getting to tell those tales to people. It means so much to me that you shared such an experience. In the age of “reality” television and YouTube, I think so many fans do not know how important a PA is. You are the lifeblood of the industry madam.

Suzanne Ferrari: Exactly! Production is rough. It is very hard. I am not going to lie. This is a job that comes with a lot of stress and it is something that can create anxiety if you let it.

(Now, most people think you jump onto a film set and you start having sex, you just start performing. Oh, only in a perfect world. A PA is a person who must make sure everything, and I mean EVERYTHING runs smooth. You must be able to do many things and not get credit for them. It takes someone with a character that can speak to everyone. You must meet them on their level and get the best out of them. Suzanne is a woman who manages to do all this and still meet the demands of the press, the agents, and the publicists of this industry. Talk about a workday.)

Don Juan: Now, let’s dive into this new business venture. Give me all the dirty, dirty details. To me, this looks to be stories of a wife who wants to see her husband satisfied and perhaps herself get a little hot under the collar in many ways. Tell us all about SlutInspection.com

Suzanne Ferrari: Well, we want fans to know that we have been shooting content for a while and what we started as originally, well let me tell it this way. One day, I was not able to shoot a scene and our friend Penelope Reed came to our apartment and said to me, “let’s do this funny scenario where I know that Suzanne is at work, so I am going to come over to suck your husband’s dick.” So, Dan and I decided to shoot it that exact way, and we did. A few weeks later she came back and I said, “how about this time I am the wife that is here, and I am going to have you fuck my husband now.” That is kind of where everything began. It was an idea from Penelope, oh I love her so much.

That was actually over a year ago now. This was a journey for me because I discovered that I needed to be less anxious, because me talking on camera was VERY scary!

We have done a lot of scenes where there is no talking on my part and I simply shot the scene. Now, as I get more and more confident, I find myself and the website growing and growing and growing.

Don Juan: Once again, you and I are cut from the same cloth. I am awful in front of the camera in every way.

Suzanne Ferrari: That is funny. Sometimes you may see my hand in the shot, or if things get a little outrageous that day, you will hear me with a few sly comments, or if the girls are really into that sort of thing.

We pride ourselves in letting the performers know exactly where we are coming from with these productions. We go over all that with the girls before we shoot you know.

Don Juan: When I went to my editors the first thing that was spoken was that they wanted everything they could get their hands on. This is such a unique concept in the industry. I personally love what you guys are doing!

Suzanne Ferrari: Yeah! It is something that is totally organic. Someone actually posted something that caught my eye the other day. They commented that they loved how “scripted” it is and the truth of what we do is that nothing is scripted, nothing at all. This is a website that is one-hundred percent me talking to the girl who is fucking my husband. She says whatever she wants to say.

Don Juan: Madam, this all sounds amazing. You are walking right into our next question. What is it that is going to separate Slut Inspection from the rest of the product that is in our glorious industry? Why do the fans need to flock to SlutInspection.com?

Suzanne Ferrari: Honestly, what I would say to the fans, is that this is something that really does not exist anywhere else out there. There are a lot of cuckold scenario sites that are more about humiliation and being mean as the attraction. Don Juan: My oh my. You make the creative juices in a writer's brain come to life. I love this concept because I am an advocate for romance and passion in every walk of life, especially in adult entertainment. The couple who enjoys adult films seems to have been forgotten about a lot over the years it seems. There needs to be more of that. More love, more passion…

Suzanne Ferrari: Yes, it is all about living out a fantasy. Now, I know that all porn is technically a “fantasy” right. Most gonzo porn is just about someone saying, “hey, I really want to fuck that person” if they even go that far. What I want to introduce is a fantasy of, “what if my wife let me fuck that person?” I want to be that person that helps take that fantasy to the next level with our creation.

Don Juan: You know, being a person who reviews adult films, professionally I see this abundance of taboo porn and there are times I really do say to myself, “have we forgotten where all of this came from? Where it all began.” You see a lot of performers take part in a scenario and you can tell they do not feel passion for what they are doing.

Suzanne Ferrari: Yes and a lot of girls do not want to do that type of role-playing.

Don Juan: Yes, it is as simple as; does a performer want to be a part of this? With what you are creating here, I see this as porn that the girls want to do. Porn that a fan will say, “hey, that looks like something I never would have thought of, but perhaps my partner will enjoy this as well.” You have created a concept that I think so many people will love in this world.

Don Juan: This has just been one exciting interview. Suzanne, tell us about Blake Blossom. That is the scene that really stood out to me. I mean when a fan checks out that scene, I do not know how any of them could not fall for that gal in a heartbeat. What a gem she is. I would love to hear about your experience with her and her work within the website. How did you guys meet? This sounds like something that was really built up over time. Now, before you answer. I must say that Blake Blossom, I think she is one of the best models with Hussie. She is something very special in this business.

Suzanne Ferrari: She just blew me away. Oh, I will tell you this, before COVID-19 she was having a year to remember. Left and right everything that she was doing was so amazing. I hope that now that things are getting better that she is going right back to where she was. She is something special. The first time that I met her was actually on a different set. Her attitude about making porn was awesome. She is super professional on top of being very fun-loving at the same time. She is so intelligent. This is a woman who has a plan for her path in this industry. She knows what she wants to do in the future, and knows how to get there. She has plans for college and so much more after. Planning for the future or whatever you wish to call it, Blake is very self-determined. It is impressive to me to meet someone that young who already knows what she wants.

Don Juan: That is cooler than cool. You took the words right out of my mouth. She is one of those performers who I can tell you can just sit them down and you see instantly that this person gets it. They understand the camera movement. They understand what they are there to do, and nothing is better than that in this business. She has never looked like “the deer in headlights” and you can not say that about a lot of new starlets. There is a learning curve to anyone who is new in this business but it seems not with her. Before COVID-19, she truly was crushing it just like you said.

Suzanne Ferrari: Exactly! You know, when I met her, I knew that she was special from that very moment. I also already knew, because she is so popular, the last time that I checked she was booked all the way through the end of the year. I was really impressed by that because first off, she does not live in LA, so she has shoots both here and in Miami all the time. So she is here when she can be and that is not always easy. You would never know it by how she carries herself. She is one of those models who is almost impossible to get. We got very lucky to have her be a part of what we are doing. She knew that she had a weird window in her calendar and our conversation went something like this: “I know your schedule is a little hectic but I would just love to have you come to my apartment and have you fuck my husband.”

She had actually thought that it was something scripted in the beginning. She did not realize 'til she got here that she was actually going to be fucking my husband. I had to tell her, “no, this is really my husband and this is what our thing is when it comes to our website.” I think that she was a little nervous when she first got here. I think she was nervous because she had never done anything like this before. We worked things out with her schedule, and we had her shoot take place around seven PM. She was going to head back to Florida in three days and this was the only time that we could get her in, and that she was available. We were not accustomed to shooting at night but I knew that we had to have her a part of this, so we agreed to all connect at that time, and we got it done. Her energy is something that is so infectious. That is why she is just so great to be around. She is so wonderful and I think everyone will see that in the scene.

Don Juan: I love that is becoming something more and more common with the new performers. I see that so much in the modern industry now. It is something very special to look at. That is how it should always be because I think everyone wishes nothing but good tidings for the younger performers in this business.

Suzanne Ferrari: Yes and for our launch scene, I really wanted to make a huge splash and I knew that she was perfect for that.

Don Juan: So, to dive in a little deeper if you do not mind me doing so?

Suzanne Ferrari: No, not at all.

Don Juan: My take is that this is going to be improvisation. The performer gets in there, and we literally thrust them into a real-life fantasy in every meaning of the word?

Suzanne Ferrari: Exactly and because I am shooting the scene, and I am also the wife, so I can be the director. I can speak out to them exactly what is on my mind, and we do not have to cut. Our goal is that we do not want to cut at all. Of course there will be some times that you have to no matter what, but we want things to be real. When you see me telling the performer; “open your eyes when you are sucking his dick,” or "look at me when his dick is inside you.” I want the people who watch to be a part of that. I am going to be speaking for the audience too. When I want to see them cum, I want to see them cum!

Don Juan: Madam, this is revolutionary! I have been sitting and pondering, what has ever been out there that uses this premise, or these methods? There is nothing that I can think of that has this type of offering to fans.

Suzanne Ferrari: Oh yes! It is very interactive for the fan to a certain extent. I think that for the women who are watching, there is not anything out there that is going to be as interactive as this. and it will still give guys something they will enjoy as well. I think that fans are going to be able to do their own role-playing, take part in this fantasy by imagining it is their girl who is taking part in this.

Don Juan: I love this Suzanne. You know a project like this, it is something that allows men to get attuned with their feminine side. I mean that. Don Juan: I think there are so many places that this website can go. Before I checked everything out, my mind was wondering and picturing the anticipation of the models coming in a behind the scenes' featurette. Suzanne Ferrari: This is so true. We just recently shot with Kenzie Reeves and after we got done explaining everything to her for the scene. She says, “so you are going to be filming and masturbating at the same time?”
