Homemade “Italian” PizzaAria Carson

YOU WILL NEED/Ingredients:

  • Nonstick pan
  • Pizza cutter
  • Spoon
  • Spatula
  • Pizza dough
  • Pesto sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni
  • real bacon bits
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Feta cheese

Serves 1-2 people

preheat oven 425

Prep time 10 min

Bake time at 425 degrees for 25-30 min depending on how baked you enjoy your pizza! Personally I like well done.

I like to start by stretching out my dough to a big square. I like the square size because it is a deep dish style pizza. The square size gives you thick fluffy crust. Feel free to make a circle if you’d like!

After I stretch my dough out, I like to take a spoonful of pesto sauce and drop in smack in the middle. I take the back of the spoon and swirl the pesto around the dough, making sure the oil coats the dough and the pesto is evenly spread.

When the pesto is perfect, go ahead and add your mozzarella cheese! I like to add a handful of cheese and use the tips of my fingers to fluff out the cheese onto the crust.

Your mozz is beautifully blanketed! Now, it's time to add your pepperoni and bacon bits! I put 10 pepperoni slices and a handful of bacon bits each time I create my delicious pizza. Evenly distribute your meats, so they cook to your liking!

My favorite part is the layer of parmesan and feta cheese on top! I like to take a handful of parmesan and shower my pizza!! I only take a small palm size portion of feta and throw it on.

When your pizza is topped and your oven is preheated grab a non-stick pan. Place the pizza on the pan and leave it in the oven for 25 to 30 min. I like to check my pizza after 15 minutes. Pop any bubbles you see with a knife. After your timer has reached 15 minutes, be sure to check on your personal pan pizza every 5 minutes. Your pizza will be ready when you see the cheese is melted, and the crust and the bottom of the bread are golden brown.

Take out your pizza! Use hotpads/oven mitts. Turn off the oven. Make sure to use a spatula to lift the pizza off the pan, so it doesn’t crisp up and stick. Cut your pizza down the middle with a pizza cutter. Turn the pizza and cut again. You will have 4 fat cheesey pieces. This should serve you and a friend.

Cool for 5-8 minutes on the stove.

When ready grab a plate and a soda! Enjoy!
