The Erotic Comedy ‘Love Emergency’ Receives 10 Nods, Including Best Comedy and Best Director – Comedic Production

LAS VEGAS (December 6, 2019) – Adam & Eve Pictures has received 18 nominations for the 2020 AVN Awards, with the erotic comedy Love Emergency earning 10 nods, including Best Comedy and Best Director – Comedic Production for AVN Hall of Fame writer/director Will Ryder.

The 2020 AVN Awards will be hosted by adult superstar Nikki Benz and camming sensation Emily Bloom and presented on Saturday, January 25, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The awards showcase excellence and outstanding achievement in the adult industry.

Love Emergency earned nominations for Best Comedic Screenplay for Ryder, Best Supporting Actor for Jake Adams and Brad Armstrong, along with Best Non-Sex Performance for James Bartholet and Missy Stone. The erotic comedy is about a panhandler masquerading as a surgeon in order to win the heart of a pretty nurse.

Additional nominations were The Motorbunny Club, for Best Anthology Series or Channel; Best Oral Production for the edging-themed Taken to the Edge, and Kay Brandt’s adaptation of Selena Kitt’s bestselling novel, The Lustful Wife, which earned a nomination for Best Romance.
