Studio: Sweet Heart » Review by Apache Warrior » Review Date: 4/29/19

XCritic's Advice: Highly Recommended

Genres: Lesbian, Feature

Director: Ricky Greenwood

Writers: Maddy Barton, Ricky Greenwood

Cast: Mona Wales, Magdalene St. Michaels, Charlotte Stokely, Nina Hartley, Lena Paul, Cassidy Banks, Kenna James, Serene Siren

Length: 2 hours and 34 minutes

Extras: I watched the film online. So no extras were available.

Condoms: None

Audio/Video Quality: The video quality and audio quality are very good. I enjoyed the somewhat dark setting to the Mona Wales-Serene Siren scene. Of course, the religious nun attire was fitting. This film is shot in high definition.

Overview: Confessions of a Sinful Nun 2: The Rise of Sister Mona is a film by director Ricky Greenwood and the studio Sweetheart Video. It is the sequel to the highly successful film Confessions of a Sinful Nun. In this current film, Sister Mona Wales has to be punished for her lesbian sins by Mother Magdalene St. Michaels.

Scene One: Sisterly friends Lena Paul and Cassidy Banks are running around outside until they stop to become sexually active. Cassidy spends a lot of time sucking the woman's vagina. Her oral work becomes more erotic when Cassidy focuses on her friend's ass. Their performance feels more personal when Cassidy rubs the woman's pussy as she cuddles her. As the scene progresses, there is more pussy eating activity by Cassidy on the ground. However, the most intimate moments really occur while Lena is going down on her friend. It is during those times when we see Cassidy's face full of ecstasy. At the end of their scene, we feel that they are sweet.

Scene Two: Sister Serene Siren takes care of Sister Mona Wales' wounds on her back. During the caring moments, the women fall for each other. There is a lot of deep down sweetness to them. And their lovemaking is very intense. The somewhat darkened lighting adds to this tone too. Even though this is just a movie, you still have to marvel at the amazing performance by these two women especially Mona Wales who really had to go through so much inner emotional turmoil in this film.

Scene Three: Sisters Kenna James and Charlotte Stokely kiss. It leads to a highly erotic performance from them. The slow pace of pleasuring the other's panty-covered womanhoods gave goosebumps, or at least, that's what the viewers will think. Even when they undress each other, the tone is very erotic and romantic. It's the one scene I did not want to see end.

Scene Four: Mother Magdalene St. Michaels visits her dear friend Mother Superior Nina Hartley. Their performance put tears in my eyes since it is that emotional especially when you learn the context of their scene. I can imagine this really happening in real life. It was also fitting to see Nina provide the most passion here. I know that this is not Nina's final scene, but it would be a great and fitting way to end her career. This is what real sex is in the end is all about.

Final Thoughts: Don't let the dark tone of this film turn you off too quickly or else you will not experience the erotic and romantic sex scenes in this film. Magdalene St. Michaels' acting performance is very wicked. She deserves to get nominated for Best Actress for this role. It's her best acting performance this year. Mona Wales will receive much sympathy for her role. It was hard to watch some of it since I have much admiration for her. She deserves to receive a Best Actress nomination too. Another acting performance that was hard to watch was Nina Hartley's. She did a great job, but the context of her character felt very personal to me. It will be a very sad and gut-wrenching day when Nina is gone for good. Ricky Greenwood and Maddy Barton created an emotional film especially for those of us who know these performers. I highly recommend this film.
