The audio commentary was a lot of fun to listen to. From Robby's comments about his former girlfriend, Monica, to his kidding with Celeste to his varied thoughts about porn in general, it was worth listening to.
Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.85:1 widescreen color. It was not as clear as Island Fever 2 or Rush but aside from the grain and weird colors, it wasn't too bad. There was some video noise and a few motion artifacts but the action was generally good enough to distract me. The audio was presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. The vocals and music were generally well mixed (although the music was sometimes too loud) and clear. The music was much more interesting than usual for an adult movie.
Body of Review: Digital Playground doesn't make a lot of movies each year. Until fairly recently, they focused mostly on their Virtual Sex line and have been expanding their feature porn selection with their two new directors, Nic Andrews and Robby D. The latest release for Robby is Sinful Creations, a movie that reminded me a lot of the recent mainstream release, Bruce Almighty. The quick version of the plot is that a man, played by Jay Ashley, has access to a device that can make anything you wish for come true. Being a guy, that means he creates hot women to watch and/or have sex with. That's a slight plot but it works for a porno. After all, the whole idea is to lend some basis for why hot looking gals would be hanging with guys like Jay, Joel, and Val. That said, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:
Scene One: Alexa, the former Wicked Pictures contract gal with the curvy body and sexually pleasing attitude, took on Jay while she was dressed as a French Maid. I really liked her eye contact with him as she pawed him before giving him an oral treat. She is very playful here, taking a break to tease him a bit before going back to work. He then took her from behind in a standing screw. I think she's hot and the scene was very well done.
Scene Two: Monica, a short but busty gal with smoking curves, masturbated in a shower. Most of the time, she rubbed her breasts, but she also rubbed her and couchie. It was warm for me although I'd rather she did a guy (or even a woman).
Scene Three: Angel and Laurie, a couple of blondes that looked really good but the photography was grainy and the lighting weak. Robby, in the commentary track, explained that the type of 35mm lens system used on the video system Digital Playground has doesn't work well with movement. This being the case, I'd ask why he used such a system. It was hot but barely hardcore.
Scene Four: Jewels, an attractive brunette, and Joel, had a scene in a kitchen, after she spanked him a bit. She trash talked him a bunch while she roughly handled him and even rimmed him a bit while jerking him off (it looked better than it sounds). The two then got busy in a heated little romp. It was a pretty solid scene from my point of view.
Scene Five: Jesse, a little blonde with a tight body, had sex with Jay on a large bed. I think she looked better here than in any of the other movies I've seen her in and the action was pretty good.
Summary: The sex wasn't as ultra hardcore as some of the gonzo I've watched lately, nor was it as limited as some of the feature porn I've reviewed. For the most part, it was playful and fun which gave it some major replay value for me. The technical limitations were kind of a bother but the women were all hotties. I'm going to rate it as Recommended since there should've been more sex, better extras, and a clearer picture but I can't deny the movie's appeal for me. Excuse me, I want to go watch it again.
