Extra's: Most people are going to appreciate the 27 minute of extra sex footage more than anything else. From Olivia to Roxy, to Teagan to Dana, each gal looked nearly as good in the bonus footage as she did in the feature itself. The other extras were okay and consisted of a photogallery, trailers, a fetish gallery, a biography for John Leslie, a commercial for the John Leslie Blues Band, a credit list and some filmographies.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. Like many of John Leslie's movies of late, the picture and sound were not to my liking. My reasoning is that he goes for a mood rather than a straightforward clear picture and my tolerance level for grain and video noise is low these days. Since the grain, video noise, and other picture qualities were lacking, you'd have to hope that Mr. Leslie could maintain the heat. Thankfully, he's one of the few directors in porn that has that ability but it's still a pain. The audio was in stereo English with minimal separation and limited dynamic range but the moans and groans were fine from a viewer's point of view.

Body of Review: There are those who say that all porn is generic and reviews are meaningless since there shouldn't be enough differences to comment on. To those ignorant few, I say bah! Be it the cast, the energy levels or the dozens of other factors that go into making a good porno, I believe that porn is MORE in need of reviewers since the companies routinely mislead consumers and know full well that we'll buy their next release without question most of the time. For the most part, consumers know what they're getting if they purchase according to company, director or performer. You aren't likely to see Jenna Jameson in a gangbang, Evil Angel make a softcore artistic cable flick, or Jim Holliday make a movie with only a couple of women. Director John Leslie and Evil Angel are just as predictable within their sphere of influence and the subject of today's review, Drop Sex 2: The Series, is proof of that fact. The movie is a series of unrelated vignettes that show hardcore cuties having gonzo sex with the usual porn studs. They put a lot of energy into their performances and Leslie captures it in the grainy way he likes to shoot. If you want to see some fun with these types of technical deficiencies, read the following breakdown of scenes by cast:

Scene One: Olivia, the hotty on the right hand side of the front DVD cover, Manuel and Mario, had a scene in a freight elevator. Mario initially watched the other two as they warmed up in front of him with her wearing a skimpy outfit that showed off her perfect ass and curves as she teased both of them. Her tight ass cheeks pleased him enough to rim her as she played with Manuel and the sex began in earnest after that. There was oral and some minor playing around until they took it to a couch in one of the lofts where she tasted her own juices off Manuel's fingers and allowed him to plug her tight pussy in several positions. She also did anal here which was no big surprise for this anal queen with the scene ending as usual with a bunch of semen on her face.

Scene Two: Teagan, the lean blonde, and Roxy, the cute Asian gal known for her sexual skill, did a bit of lesbian fooling around on some stairs as Mark watched them go at it. Never one to wait too long, he beckoned the gals to suck his penis and they did, with Roxy showing plenty of skill and energy. Mark used some gagging action on Roxy as the scene progressed and boned her pretty hard in her pussy with Teagan getting to taste it a few times. They reversed roles and Teagan got to ride with Roxy tasting before Roxy did some anal with him. It ended with a facial that Roxy sucked clean and wasn't bad to watch, despite the technical problems.

Scene Three: Dana, a lean brunette with a sweet looking ass, could be found on the left side of the front DVD cover. She showered before taking on Mark and Mick with some lingerie tease footage taking place in between. She sucked them off, alternating between the men before they took turns screwing her from behind. There was a bit too much slapping action taking place for me but fans of it will appreciate it just fine. She did anal with a DP too ending it with the guys jerking off to her face (missing it too often with their loads). This wasn't her best work but rough-sex fans will like it.

Scene Four: Renee, a brunette, Silky, the gal featured on the front DVD cover in red lingerie, Fred, and Rick had the next scene. Silky and Rick were on the freight elevator while Renee and Fred behind a parked car doing some serious oral. She could barely handle Fred's penis (most people know him by his former porn name) with her mouth but each gal gave it a shot. Fred then got to bang both of the gals, initially getting some pussy before tapping some ass. Each gal got some good loving though and each gal did some taste testing of penis after it was in a hole before the pop shots took place.

Scene Five: Kimberly, a blonde all decked out in a blue formal dress, Shawnie, the curvy blonde on the upper middle of the front DVD cover, and Kurt, the porn stud women are talking about had a scene in a nearly vacant loft. Kimberly was up first and I have to be honest that I don't think I've seen her look so inviting but a tied up Shawnie was watching for a bit until she was allowed to join too. The scene was high-energy and while it wasn't an anal-fest jamboree, it was indeed well done with lots of chemistry to augment the action. Whew!

Summary: While I generally fuss at John's technical "look", I can't deny the heat of this movie. With some decent extras and a hot cast, I'm going to rate it as Recommended for fans of gonzo porn. It wasn't the most extreme sex I've seen lately and the technical issues were bothersome but the overall sex had some terrific replay value that shouldn't be ignored.
