Audio/Video Quality: Lex Steele XXX 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by the Dark Prince himself. Like some of his most recent work, the picture looked very professional with few of the problems he used to have concerning lighting and grain. The colors were accurate, the fleshtones good and the composition of the shots just fine to showcase this horde of honeys. I saw no compression artifacts and the video noise that sometimes popped up on the patterned fishnets was minimal. The audio was pretty basic this time with a stereo soundtrack that had little separation between the channels. One of these days, Lex is going to hire a good sound technician to make a solid 5.1 Dolby Digital track just to mess with my mind but this wasn't the day if you catch my drift.

Body of Review: Once upon a time, there was a manly man with a huge penis and a love of sex that surpassed even my own. The man's name was Lexington Steele and his stage names included "The Dark Prince", "The Black Bastard", and "The Man of Steele" to name a few. He had worked in various gonzo companies, a few of them quite good in fact before setting out on his own (the circumstances really don't matter much) to focus his efforts on his own company, Mercenary Pictures. Before that time however, he made movies that were great fun with heated sexual antics such as Lex Steele XXX 1 and Lex Steele XXX 2; both solid flicks that won praise for a number of people, myself included. Well, I haven't seen the third in that series but if it was anything at all like Lex Steele XXX 4, it must've been great. Volume 4 in the series followed the general pattern Lex initiated years ago and if you've never seen one of them, you're in for a treat here. The gonzo set up with some tease and lingerie wearing babes made for a lot of fun and replay value. Here's a quick look at the action, noting no condoms were used and even the worst gal wasn't bad:

Scene One: Sharon, the attractive blonde on the front DVD cover wearing the red corset and other fetish attire, was up first as she teased the camera in such a manner that you'd think she was talking directly to you, the viewer (it was done in point of view style). It certainly didn't hurt that the technical values were solid this time and the cast so diverse but I'm come to expect Lex's releases to be pretty solid over the years (at least on average) and this was no exception to the rule. If Lex goes for a fifth volume, I hope he picks a fresh cast of women that'll appreciate his efforts to make them a star as much as these gals did although I wish Kaylynn had been with him too.
