Audio/Video Quality: Jack's Playground 19 was presented in anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 ratio color. The colors were sometimes a bit too saturated but aside from some minor grain and video noise, the show looked pretty good and never distracted from the sex taking place. The audio was presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English but the use of the audio format was not really great since most of the sound came from the center channel. While this comes as no surprise, especially since the budget of most porn movies is so small, Digital Playground is world-renowned for being on the leading edge of technology and a number of fans, me included, appreciate their efforts.

Body of Review: In recent months, the award winning Jack's Playgroundseries by director Robbie D. of Digital Playground has finally started getting some positive press by both the professional associations and consumer advocate groups and that's likely due to the way the series fuses comedy with porn in a unique manner; thinking outside the box (so to speak) and having a willingness to showcase new gals that aren't into having sex with a partner just yet (few series are bold enough to have the hottest gals do only masturbation sequences as a regular occurrence). In any case, the series uses the guise of Robbie as "Jack" trying to catch hot women having sex in order to earn a place in his music videos. The latest volume I got to review was Jack's Playground 19, detailing the further misadventures of Robby (as Jack) as he tries to get attractive cuties to disrobe and have sex. I haven't seen all of the volumes (yet) but on average, they seem to offer a wide array of cunning stunts (or was that stunning… Oh never mind!) so even the weaker volumes are typically fun to watch with friends and loved ones (at least perverted friends and twisted loved ones). Here's a look at the latest scenes, noting that several of them were well worth checking out more than a few times:

Scene One: Trina Michaels, a busty bleached blonde (left side of the front DVD cover) wearing a blue jean outfit fitted to her curvy body, was first up as she played with Robbie on the bed. She gave him an idea of what a lap dance is before getting busy with Joey Ray while Robbie watched. Her oral skills weren't bad but it was when they two boned that she really came alive. It ended when he jerked off to her face and mouth in this nice warm up scene for the volume.

Scene Two: Megan Martinez, playing a stereotypical cleaning gal at Robbie's place that spoke little English, was talked into a masturbation sequence on the couch. For those who haven't seen this all natural cutie, she has the Latino role down pat and a lovely body worth a good, long look. I've seen her in more recently recorded scenes and fans of Latino gals will want to check her out here.

Scene Three: Alexis, a somewhat leaner blonde than Trina Michaels, took care of boy toy Eric Masterson on a bed after meeting on the beach. She took the action slow and easy, savoring the moment like few others seem to do these days, telling the guys she had a medical condition that impaired her oral ability (Eric telling her to just lick it was funny though). He then banged her for a few moments before losing control and blowing his load on her. I look forward to a longer scene with her in the future but this one wasn't as good as it could have been.

Scene Four: Makayla Cox, the brunette in the middle of the front DVD cover wearing butt floss, was up next with aging porn stud, Joel Lawrence. After the guys talking about her "party pussy", the couple really got into the scene with her giving an excellent blowjob. He then reciprocated to her crotch and she appeared to get pretty wet at which point they screwed in a heated manner vaginally. This wasn't her best scene either but the oral continued at the end of the scene and he blew his wad onto her face and in her mouth, making it pretty good overall.

Scene Five: Charlie Laine, the sweety on the right side of the front DVD cover with red hair, was up next with a running gag about her kleptomania that started off in a car after she shoplifted and continued on in Jack's apartment on his couch. Wearing the fishnet pink shorts and a matching crop top, she then gave Jack/Robbie quite a show as she masturbated; calling herself naughty and bad for stealing. I would've liked to see her in a real scene but the solo action was good too. Whew!

Scene Six: Jada Fire, a dark skinned black gal with large breasts and a matching attitude, began by teasing Joey Ray and Jack on the couch with her fishnet top and no-panties blue jean skirt. Joey and Jada (sounds like a television pilot) then got down to business with her showing him a few tricks he's probably seen a few (thousand) times before. They each gave one another oral before screwing and he jerked off onto her breasts in this okay scene.

Summary: Jack's Playground 19 lacked the star power of some of the earlier volumes but it was a pleasant enough volume to watch. I wished it was longer lasting and had more of what I want to see (both sex and comedy) so I was kind of in a bind about what to rate this one. Without significantly improved extras or more footage, I think the only fair rating is a Rent It although I'd be the first one to say that I like the show enough to give it a general recommendation to fans of comedy porn. There really wasn't much fuck for the buck though so jaded old porn reviewers like me might see things differently and casual fans of porn will probably have a lot of fun with this series.
