Extra's: My favorite extra was the inclusion of a 24 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Brother Love. There were some interviews, some sex, and a bit of goofing off but most of it revolved around some of the cast talking about themselves. There was also a bonus scene from China Syndrome between Lucy Lee, Chris Charming, and Mr. Pete. She's a moderately Asian with decent sexual skills. I liked the scene although current reports suggest the actual DVD was worth buying even if this 22 minute long scene was only pretty good on its own (it had anal, DP, and a bunch of ATM for those who care). There were also some trailers, a fetish menu, a photogallery, a double sided DVD cover, and company information.

Audio/Video Quality: Naughty College School Girls 38 was presented in the not so usual 1.77:1 ratio non-anamorphic widescreen color as originally shot by director Axel Braun. The colors of some scenes looked very solid this time due in large part to proper lighting with the composition of most of the shots complimenting the gals nicely but other scenes fell flat due to the lack of those same technical values. There were few compression artifacts and a bit of video noise but neither was bad enough to kill the heat of the better scenes. The stereo audio was about average for a porno with little separation between the scenes and not much dynamic range; sounding a bit flat for the most part.

Body of Review: New Sensations has long been a pioneer in the DVD format although recent years have seen numerous directors bail for better deals. That said, one of the longest running DVD series committed to providing young gals having sex on camera is the Naughty College School Girls series that the company has won numerous awards and nominations for. While I've found the series somewhat hit or miss, Volume 37 being somewhat weaker than Volume 36, fans of gals that don't get much exposure (primarily because they haven't been around for long) tell me that they enjoy seeing the rougher edges of the gals that don't all act like porn stars (at least as much as "trying" to look like them). I suppose that makes a lot of sense since seeing the gals that have been in hundreds of scenes isn't for everyone. The latest volume in the series is Naughty College School Girls 38, a middle of the road offering in terms of who did what to whom. If you enjoy seeing attractive gals sometimes stumble through a scene before taking their facial, you'll like this one as much as any of the others. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used to diminish the heat for you:

Scene One: Leah Luv, the blonde on the front DVD cover in the pink & white checkered outfit, started off the scene by wishing for a cock to suck on a couch with Mr. Pete appearing to grant her wish. He jerked her off and fed her some of her own juice before offering up his meaty member for her oral pleasure. He tongued her ass and even fingered it as if to ready her for anal but she never took it in the backdoor, something only an anal prick tease would do to a guy. They screwed with him doing most of the work in a fairly tepid scene that looked good but was less filling, even though he shot his wad on her lovely face.

Scene Two: Kimmie Cream, a lean gal with light brown hair and an attractive face, reminded me more of a house stripper than a porn performer although her all natural body will certainly be welcome in porn too. Her partners were the dynamic dummy duo of Scott Nails and Tony T.; a couple of guys looking like they came from a 1970's revival or something. The scene took place in a game room, complete with pool table, dart board, video game and beer lights, so I suppose many of you will appreciate the down home nature of the action. It was oral and straight only but the guys did the majority of the work, there were problems with the background noises, and the lighting was off, reducing the heat on technical matters as much as the lack of talented males participating. It ended with a couple of sets of facials but she dodged the cum and didn't swallow. I think she has potential but was desperately in need of a better situation in which to shine.

Scene Three: Taryn Thomas, a very attractive brunette wearing a white shirt and plaid skirt (typically associated with younger gals in school, not college girls), did something I haven't seen in this series recently (if ever); she was already underway at the scene with Mr. Pete on a couch. I wonder if the reason was lost footage or some technical malfunction but the sex showed both of them rutting like they were on fire to screw. This type of chemistry isn't all that common in porn so it nicely complimented the energy and even the limited types of sex (oral and straight) didn't limit the value of the scene. Yum!

Scene Four: Brittany James, a cute gal with dark brown hair, wore a red top and plaid skirt as she asked the camera/audience if it wanted her to be naughty or nice. Apparently, it wanted her to be naughty since she walked over and started sucking Chris Charming's fairly large penis on the easy chair. If you like lean and pretty gals, you'll like her a lot although her voice made me want to slam something in her mouth to shut her up (unlike Cherokee, her squeaky voice bugged me). The oral and straight sex were both well done though and even a critic of Chris' usual demeanor found he worked well with this gal; better than usual in fact. In all, she gave some solid energy and appeared to enjoy cock as much as any of the others, making the heated antics of the couple well worth your time.

Scene Five: Dayzjha Nay, a gal that seems to make a porno a year (I think I saw her last in a Red Light District movie), showcased her lean body in the living room with goofy Tony T. being her partner. She's a cutie and I wish she made more movies but her talents still seem to be limited with adequate oral and a girl next door ability to milk a nut (don't look for a lot of energy or chemistry and you won't mind the scene as much). Tony talked through the whole scene, a big mistake in my book as he comes off like a bigger jerk than most people already think he is, and it ended with the facial as expected but nothing special for me.

Summary: Naughty College School Girls 38 was an average volume in the long running series. Stocked with a decent cast of attractive young gals, the DVD managed to show the general ambivalence some of the gals had towards doing porn while also proving a few of them were she devils in bed. I'm going to rate it as a Rent It but if you like seeing less experienced gals in porn (especially attractive ones), you'll probably like it enough to pick up a copy yourself. If so, please email me and let me know what you thought since this one lacked something to make it appeal to me as much as several other volumes have done in the past. In all though, the DVD wasn't a bad value considering the extras so take my words with a grain or twelve of salt and check it out.
