Extra's: My favorite extra was the 15 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Hoflar since it was shot exclusively for the DVD but I'm sure many of you will like the older bonus scenes included even more. A few of them appeared to be edited but the majority of action was kept so you won't miss it if you haven't seen them in the recent past. There were also three photogalleries, a positions room, some trailers, a double sided DVD cover and the usual forced spam at the front of the DVD.

Audio/Video Quality: Lexie and Monique Love Rocco was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that it was shot in by director Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment. It was as grainy as any recent Vivid feature and the lighting was varied with some scenes using far too much shadow for proper porn but I doubt most people will find it all that bad if they are used to the technical limitations found on low budget features. The composition of most shots did seem to have some thought put into them yet even in the best scenes, amateurish mistakes were made that made the gals look less appealing (perhaps this is a new style: making the gals look bad, but I'm not aware of it). There were some moments with video noise and I saw a couple compression artifacts from time to time but the mastering looked as though the company had a weak source material so I doubt they could do much with it. The stereo audio was very basic with some minor music to enhance the moment and the vocals using the same limited range I've come to expect from lower budgeted features but you could hear what the cast was saying and if that's enough for you to enjoy, so be it.

Body of Review: Most people in porn know of the legendary Rocco Siffredi and his heated sexual antics but some of you might forget that he used to star in Vivid movies on a semi-regular basis. He returns to his roots one last time in the latest Vivid release, Lexie and Monique Love Rocco, a story of love and betrayal that seems to be used to promote Vivid's latest two contract performers, Lexie Marie and Monique Alexander. Getting Rocco to work for them must've taken a whole lot of money or convincing since he's made it clear that he prefers making his own movies these days but the overall effect will be minimal since the movie is nothing like what he makes on his own for Evil Angel. If you like the listed cast, then the movie will be worth a look but here's a breakdown of scenes by cast and action for those who are on the fence:

Scene One: Dasha, the former Vivid contract star, had the first scene as she masturbated while handcuffed to an exercise bike in an apartment. To be quite frank about it, she looked far rougher here than in any of her other movies made since the comeback and the limited amount of rubbing barely qualified as a scene. I know the moment fit into the story but this is porn and it would be better to alter the story to fit the porn than vice versa.

Scene Two: Monique Alexander, the lean new Vivid contract performer, and world famous Rocco Siffredi, were up next after she danced for him to warm him up for some action at his art gallery. It was oral and straight only but this all natural gal seemed at home with the action (she was a gal that rarely did guys until recently), even when he did some foot licking while jerking her off. If you're looking for the heated escapades that Rocco employs for Evil Angel, you've come to the wrong place though as the energy levels were okay but nothing like he uses in his own productions. She did have a playful sense of fun to add but it was Rocco-lite action if you catch my drift. Still, couples that can't stomach his usual works might find this appealing nonetheless and she did display a bit more talent than the average Vivid gal new to her contract.

Scene Three: Harmony, a curvy gal that proves a few extra pounds can work just fine on a gal, had the following scene with geeky Trent Tesoro at her place after walking around in some butt munch red underwear. I have liked her work in the past and she did add some much needed energy to the show but even the playful titty fuck wasn't her best work and it wasn't until she began trying to coax out a load that she really shined. It was oral and straight, like the other scenes of course, and it ended with a pop shot to her chest for those who care.

Scene Four: Dasha, looking much better in her skimpy underwear, took care of both Jean Val Jean and Scott Nails, in the next scene in a house being remodeled. Everyone got some oral loving here with Jean going down on her (not Scott) and the guys got to sample her fine pussy before Jean was rewarded for his oral efforts by getting to tap her ass. The scene had some minor energy but it was limited compared to what I've seen her do with boyfriend Dillion Day and the double pop shot to her chest seemed a bit wasted with that sweet mouth of hers right there waiting.

Scene Five: Brooke Haven and Randi Wright were up next in a lesbian scene in an outdoor hot tub after some false starts with various cast members. They eventually took the scene inside and used a vibrator but it was pretty run of the mill action by the two that had a strong point of being a contrast in body shapes (Brooke was curvy and voluptuous while Randi was very lean and angular). It ended with a large red plastic dildo being inserted in both of them as they seemed to ride one another but couch sex is often limited and this was such a case (the faked vocals didn't help any either).

Scene Six: Lexie Marie, Monique Alexander, Vanessa Lane, Mandy Bright, Steven St. Croix, Jean Val Jean, and Rocco Siffredi all took part in the following orgy in a small living room although Rocco initially stayed to himself as he jerked off to the action. The action was not nearly as varied as it could have been and the editing job was particularly weak as the action bounced around seemingly at will while the cast fucked and sucked one another off. There was some anal here but it seemed more forced than in other releases so the appeal was somewhat lost on me (I prefer the gals to be into the action, not putting up with it for the money). There were some bright moments however and while it wasn't as well done as it could have been, it was worth watching once or twice.

Scene Seven: Lexie Marie, finally getting a chance to shine with Rocco Siffredi all alone, began with a short seduction scene by an outdoor air conditioner that ended up inside the house. It had far more chemistry than the scene with Monique and him as they sucked and fucked with abandon for a short while. I only wish my game room got such a work out as the energy level here was way above average for the movie and worth being used as a bonus scene like the scores of others on Vivid's DVDs.

Summary: Lexie and Monique Love Rocco was barely worth a rating of Rent It to me and I enjoy seeing many of the cast in action. The technical limitations combined with a general lack of heat by most of the cast managed to leave me hanging far too often yet even then; I noticed some measure of fun to be had on occasion. I think Lexis and Monique will work out well with Vivid and I wish each partner in the deal a lot of luck in their future outings but Lexie and Monique Love Rocco wasn't as good as I expected after hearing some hype from the various sources on the periphery of the porn industry. Check it out for yourself but don't expect a whole lot for your money.
