Extra's: The extras on the first disc were nothing special, consisting of a photogallery, cast list, and some limited filmographies only. Thankfully, the second disc had some of the hefty extras that Evil Angel has been laying on us in recent months; the kind that truly adds significant value to the double disc set. The best extra by any standard would be the slightly more than 41 minutes of bonus footage that included Travis Knight in an alternative version of two of the scenes (the one with Julea London showed her as more energetic than the one used in the movie). I thought the scene with McKenzie was painful to watch (he gave a new meaning to the term "bust a nut" and acted like a jerk afterwards) but the footage was generally very well done. There were also trailers to other Jules Jordan movies like Perfect Specimens 2, Feeding Frenzy 7, Flesh Hunter 8, Dark Side, Once You Go Black 4, Flesh Hunter 7, Ass Worship 6, Feeding Frenzy 6, and Ass Worship 7, but that was it.

Audio/Video Quality: Slut Puppies was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that director Jules Jordan shot it in for Evil Angel. The movie looked as good as Ass Worship 7, with numerous grain, lighting, and video noise issues (minor in nature but often present). As with other movies by the director, no one truly expects the technical qualities of one of Jules' movies to look perfect (because they never do) but the general levels of heat were such that only the most discriminating of you will find significant fault with how he has presented the sex here. The fleshtones were sometimes too dark, the editing a bit weak, and the occasional compression artifact distracting but few of you will care about any of that since the amount of solid material was so plentiful. The stereo audio was in English and about as basic as usual for Jules too but I could hear anything said in the movie with only some background noise to get in the way so I'm rating it average.

Body of Review: Nowadays, Evil Angel has grown to the point where genius director John Stagliano makes few movies himself, relying more on his stable of contract directors (with exclusive distribution agreements) to provide the kind of heated movies he enjoys watching. In recent years, the emphasis by the company has been to get newer, fresher directors with a slightly different way of looking at sex as the older, more established guys ease out of providing as many movies. All of them still offer a lot for porn fans to enjoy but aside from the occasional hit, the past champions are waning stars at the company according to many fans. I'm on the fence in those discussions since I could argue the proven quality of the masters being at least as skillfully made as the young bucks leading in sales but I have to hand it to Evil Angel for providing the best of both worlds to us fans these days (why pick one over the other when you can have both?). That said, the talented Jules Jordan's latest release is Slut Puppies: 2 Disc Director's Cut, another movie full of tremendous fuck for the buck if you enjoy his standardized formula of sex acts. One look at the front DVD cover and you'll know what to expect this time, with an emphasis on leaner, younger gals who like to expand their sexual horizons. Without blowing my own wad early into this review, here's a look at the action, noting that no condoms were used in the scenes:

Scene One: Hillary Scott and Leah Luv, the blondes on the upper right hand corner of the front DVD cover, were up first in a living room scene with Jerry. Both gals will appeal to the porn fan into the lean, bleach blonde, stripper slut so many of us associate with the industry. The collars, chains and other costume appeal they wore will likely appeal to such folks too but for me it was the playful manner they started off with some lesbian action that worked so well. Spreading one another apart as they licked, sucked, and otherwise tasted each other made for some heated, chemistry-filled moments. About twenty minutes into the movie though, the scene shifted into a more traditional Jules scene with Jerry getting his penis sucked by the gals. They took turns as they slobbed his knob and Leah remained in the submissive role but the energy levels remained high. The sex went from oral to vaginal and anal after that, with PTM and ATM taste testing for those of you into it. I could provide a virtual screenplay of the twists and turns the scene took from there but suffice it to say, the scene rocked (hard!) and while they weren't my favorite performers of the movie, they did a great job. Whew!

Scene Two: McKenzie Lee, the brunette on the right hand side of the front DVD cover (third one down), was up next in a form fitting outfit that really accentuated her body. The tease alone here was worth the price of admission and fans of mainstream star Angelina Jolie will find Ms. Lee to be more fetching (and similar in her look) on many levels. The tease was decent but the blowjob action she gave both Jules Jordan and Mark Wood, showed she was more than just eye candy. They got to snack on her as well but that was secondary in terms of the excitement generated by the young performer. The sex went to the usual vaginal and anal action, with plenty of bareback DP to follow, but she seemed to lose steam as the scene progressed; perhaps having blown her wad too early for me. Fans of choking will like it better (I'm neutral on the subject) but it really wasn't anything special for Jules (rising expectations have that effect).

Scene Three: Holly Wellin, the bleach blond seen on the lower right hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up next asking for a "big black cock" to play with. After the obligatory tease footage, she was given the massive Mandingo to play with; perhaps the largest guy in the business in terms of penis size. I have yet to see a gal be able to swallow him down all the way and Holly was no exception but she managed to get him hard enough to tear into her pussy after sucking the head of that dick a moment or two. In terms of sexual aggressiveness, she really couldn't do much since she was pushed to her limits by his size but fans of interracial sex will find the scene on par with most of the recent work by Lexington Steele in his line of movies. Those of you into the sexual Olympics type of porn scene will appreciate her stamina but I think he's still looking for the perfect partner capable of doing him completely after watching this decent scene.

Scene Four: Julea London, the brunette on the middle of the left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up next in a scene that started with her shackled to a lounge chair with a ball gag in her mouth. Her fishnet stocking, slave collar, stripper shoes, white transparent top and shaved crotch all added to her submissive look and Jules Jordan, wasted little time playing with her as he spanked her body with his riding crop styled paddle. If you like all natural waifish looking gals, she should be on your future short list for her freshness factor alone but I prefer curvier gals so your mileage will likely vary from mine. It had the usual playfulness of a Jules dominated scene, complete with no hands blowjob, begging, and a pounding vaginal and anal aspect. She rode him quite well when he was tapping her pussy but could barely hold on during the anal so while I gave her credit for expanding her sexual horizons, she lost a bit for her mechanical anal action. It ended when Jules rubbed out a large load but she wore her ball gag and acted like his spew was poison for the most part.

Scene Five: Tory Lane and Jasmine Byrne, the two brunettes featured on the lower right hand quadrant of the front DVD cover, were up next as they teased the camera by playing with one another with some lesbian action. The gals were looking fit and hot here with their fetish outfits but the energy the two displayed was top notch. Was the chemistry between them real or just an act? Well, I like to think it was real because even picking up a check couldn't hold these two back from one another with lucky Jerry getting in on the scene after they were lubed up by each other. The sex included more oral, vaginal (with pussy to mouth; PTM), anal (with ATM) and each gal getting some taste testing in for good measure. There were several highlights of the energetic scene for me but the best was the look on Jasmine's face as Jerry was hammering away at Tory's fine ass. In all, it was a very well done scene and I can see why these two gals were featured on the front DVD cover.

Scene Six: Erin Moore, the bleach blonde from Arizona located on the upper left hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up last in a scene with the massive Mandingo after she gave some tease footage by the outdoor pool. Her outfit (the same on as on the cover) worked wonders for her look and that fine, heart shaped ass of hers is likely to get a lot of attention in the near future if she stays in porn. Her oral with him was somewhat more limited than that given by Holly but her ability to ride a large black cock seemed better by a couple of inches (at least when she was on top of him). I liked her ability to smile during the scene; proving to me she wasn't just collecting a paycheck or attempting an endurance record for her personal archives, but as much fun as she had, the scene was limited by the size of his dick versus the size of her tight pussy. She did swallow though so keep an eye out for her future work.

Summary: Slut Puppies: 2 Disc Director's Cut was more of the same from Jules Jordan. Usually, that phrase is used by critics as a term of disrespect but I mean it in a wholly different manner. If you've enjoyed Jules' work in the recent past, you're going to like this one just as much. While he broke no new territory, there's something to be said for a director willing to subvert his own need to tread new ground in favor of giving fans what they want. As such, he earned yet another rating of Highly Recommended from me (big surprise, I know) but some of you have already started expressing your desire to see Jules push even further into his twisted mind to outdo the many competitors willing to push the envelope past where he's currently at. If you like fetish attire, lean cuties, and hardcore sexual antics, you'll be milking your nuts for a long time with this one, giving it a lot of fuck for the buck to satisfy fans.
