Extra's: To make room for the addition sex scenes, this version of the movie lost most of the extras. All that was present was some trailers, fetish menus, and a photogallery although I wish a second disc had been included to incorporate the initial release's extras.

Audio/Video Quality: Superwhores 1: Collector's Edition was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Lexington Steele. The original scenes were released under his affiliation with Red Light District but now that he's been adding footage and making various titles collector's editions, the new scenes have sparked some interest too. Essentially, Lex has grown as a director and his work tends to look sharp now than it did in the past. There was still some grain, especially in some of the older scenes, and shadows, but there weren't any compression artifacts or major issues on any of the scenes, new or old. The audio was about as basic as I remembered it to be and some of the new scenes had some problems with balancing the levels but it was still sounding better than the original did.

Body of Review: Folks who've met the talented director Lexington Steele, almost always seem to remark at how gentle and pleasant he is in public. I can testify to this myself, having met him a few times, and his nature conveys a sense of warmth among a lot of people that weren't initially into interracial porn (including female performers). As his talent grows, so to does his desire to re-release some of his older movies under his own banner rather than those who were said to take advantage of him (I have no first hand knowledge of this), and movies like Top Guns 1: Collector's Edition were notable for the sheer amount of new scenes included, all for the same price as the original. Today's review is of the latest collector version from the dark prince of porn, Superwhores 1: Collector's Edition, a movie that was even better than the original Superwhores 1, not just because of the quality of the old scenes, but the well shot new material too. That said, here's a brief look at this version of the classic title as revised just recently:

Scene One: "Avy Scott, the attractive blonde known as much for her curvy figure as for her sexual prowess, took on the Dark Prince himself, Lex, in the living room. She took a large load to her face at the end and didn't do anal but the scene was fun to watch." I have to admit that she has long been one of the most beautiful gals in porn and this scene was pretty fricking hot to watch (I've seen it many times and it never loses its value to me).

Scene Two: Kayla Marie, in the first of the newly added scenes for this version of the movie, the lovely gal readied a bath for herself while stripping out of some sexy lingerie. Bent over the sink, she looked most appealing although leaving on the stockings and garter made little sense to me. Regardless, she took to Lex's penis like a fish to water as she slobbed his knob with some measure of desire, going nearly balls deep inside her mouth. She worked out a load by jerking him off and even the limitations of the scene were forgotten due to her energetic performance.

Scene Three: "Julie Robbins and Sky Taylor, a great duo of porn babes, and Michael, had a scene on a couch. Aside from the oral and straight, there was anal, A2M and even P2M and spanking before the ending with a cum-swap. I wasn't sure how much they liked one another but it sure seemed like they wanted to tear one another apart sexually. Whew!" The amount of tease this one had made it work well, even now, years later. While they weren't the best of the batch, each contributed some heated antics and the scene held up well to the ravages of time.

Scene Four: Beauty and Sinn Star, a couple of black gals with some ample sample, took care of Lexington orally in the upstairs bedroom. The tag team nature of the oral was decent and while this second new scene wasn't as well done as the first, it added some value for me.

Scene Five: "Bobbi Eden, a hot blonde with kicking curves, and Erik Everhard had a scene on a couch. While the sex was not either of their best work, it was very warm. The sex included oral and straight only but she earned her dough with her high energy levels and enthusiasm. Warm!" I've long thought of Ms. Eden as a treasure to behold given her incredible looks (the front cover didn't do her justice here) as well as her skill and lack of limitations once she turned on the juice. This scene remains a favorite of mine even now.

Scene Six: Cashmere, another black gal with some large curves, was up next with an uncredited black man that looked familiar but I couldn't quite place him. They were initially out on a balcony with her in a red fishnet top and black shorts, with her blowing his moderate sized penis as though she were at an audition. By this, I mean she seemed a little stiff (as opposed to getting a little stiffy) but this extra scene had the distinction of having a huge (and I'm talking HUGE) load deposited on her face. The load in question would put Peter North to shame if you catch my drift.

Scene Seven: Serena Marcos, a brunette stripper with implants, was up next as she teased on a platform designed to remind the viewer of a strip club, complete with a strobe light. She was one of the weakest of the new gals with some mighty huge stretch marks but a fleshy ass and sweet cameltoe. The tease footage was solid though and her uncredited black male partner seemed to enjoy her enthusiasm, even if it wasn't all that special. As an additional scene though, it worked well enough.

Scene Eight: "Rose and Vicky Vette, both well-known porn starlets, took on Michael after a photoshoot by a kitchen. The sex was more graphic this time with some spanking and roughness along with P2M and anal. I enjoyed the action and was glad it lasted as long as it did." Vicky was the highlight of the scene but it looked like she was relegated to a second fiddle seat by Michael Stefano in favor of youth. That was a shame since she was much better at sucking him off and otherwise taking anything he had to offer. Regardless, the scene was strong because of her, not in spite of her as other critics have suggested in the past. Whew!

Scene Nine: Jasmine Cashmere, in another new scene, showed off her curvy figure as she discussed sucking dick while prancing about in her black PVC top and red fishnet stockings and matching stripper shoes. Lexington was her initial partner, getting some premium oral from this classy lass, but the two were joined by another guy (a much smaller white guy at that). I've seen him around but he looked really nervous here and the ebony and ivory aspects of the scene worked pretty well in spite of him ("Ebony and Ivory, getting dicks sucked in perfect harmony, side by side…."). Others joined them after that but in all; I look forward to seeing more of her in action.

Scene Ten: "Cameron Cain, a platinum blonde with a lean figure, and Erik Everhard, had a scene in the living room. I really liked her fishnets and lingerie but her energy levels and positive attitude was through the roof with him. That made me think they had a lot of chemistry together and she definitely earned the title "super" after this one. Whew!" This was one of the original scenes and she still looked fine but the heat seemed somewhat less to me this time. Of all the scenes, it lost more of the initial passion but it wasn't a bad scene even now.

Scene Eleven: Vida Vegas and Chloe Black, another couple of black gals, including the one starting off the narration, were in the last new scene for the collector's edition on a bed with the white dude all tied up. With some oral and face sitting, he seemed to enjoy the action although the possibility of his girlfriend cutting off his penis seemed to remain in the back of his mind. It was strictly oral too but had a few nice moments.

Scene Twelve: "Taylor Lynn and Allyson Chains, both hot little blonde with tiny bodies made for porn, showed Ben English a good time after their photo shoot. There was some serious anal and A2M after the straight and oral sex. The gals could have been sisters by the looks of them. A lot of guys are going to get off to this one because it was really well made and ended with a facial after all that hardcore action." I liked the fetish attire the gals wore and Ben's rough style seemed to please them nicely. This scene remained pretty solid too although not like some of the other originals did.

Summary: Superwhores 1: Collector's Edition was without a doubt worth a rating of Highly Recommended or even better due to the nature of the passionate sex displayed in the dozen scenes on the disc. If there had been a second disc of extras, it might have even earned a collector's rating from me but I thought that this was very well done in almost every way. The technical aspects, particularly of the newer scenes, showed Lexington getting better at his craft, and the amount of fuck for the buck was exceptionally solid. If you're looking for a good series of scenes that had a diversity of action and plenty of the massive "man of steele" working up the ladies, this was clearly worth your time and money.
