Audio/Video Quality: Gobble The Goop 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director John Leslie for distribution by Evil Angel. The quality of the visual aspects of the movie varied according to each scene with the indoor parts tending to have more grain and slight video noise, but never looking bad. The composition of the shots was almost always favorable to the women but there were exceptions when the camera moved around too much or couldn't keep steady. I saw no compression artifacts and had to rate this as one of the better releases in visual terms of John in quite a while. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English soundtrack was average to me in most ways. While I could hear the vocals, there was little dynamic range and the separation was almost nonexistent.

Body of Review: Fans of John Leslie have long appreciated his general attitude towards sex. Essentially, he likes to offer up tease footage and coax the audience into wanting more at every turn. This builds some heat in his scenes that might otherwise not be present and remains one of his strong points even years into his directing career. His latest movie for Evil Angel is Gobble The Goop 2: Director's Extended Cut, the long awaited sequel to Gobble the Goop 1. The sex this time were some mighty fine blowjobs by the cast of gals on the manly men (and Scotty), never going any further. Some of the gals swallowed and almost all of them displayed a playful sense of fun that made the scenes work better than they otherwise would have. If this sounds interesting to you, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that none of the men wrapped his rascal:

Scene One: Tory Lane, the cute brunette featured in the middle of the front DVD cover wearing a red and green shirt, was up first in a scene with Seth Dickens, Joey Ray, and John West. Initially, she smoked a cigarette and teased with her hooker-ware outfit on a street corner before going back to a room to hook up with the guys. They were naked and jerking off but she inspected each of them before engaging in her scene with them. Once she started sucking them off, they rubbed and pawed at her body in a manner most of us would've done, but she kept focused on the task at hand (and mouth). This wasn't her best scene but she still looked great for the camera.

Scene Two: Lauren Phoenix, the hotty located on the lower left hand side of the front DVD cover, and cutie Harmony, were up next as Lauren took charge of her with some oral, slapping, and dirty talk. She's never been my favorite gal in porn but I still find a lot to enjoy when watching her so with more experience I think she'll really be great. The guys were the biggest problem this time with John being the only one capable of turning her out to a level she worked best at. Scotty looked weird and Arnold isn't the best guy for such a scene yet she wasn't bad here as she inhaled them with some measure of gusto. She did swallow a little bit but most of the semen looked to be running down her chin by the end of the scene.

Scene Four: Gia Jordan, looking rough and slutty as if she were a skid row whore, was up next outside by a graffiti clad wall. She smoked a cigarette and drank from a bottle in a brown paper bag, showing off her ample sample of an ass by a rundown fence. Scene Six: Trina Michaels, a curvy hotty in a bikini, was the last gal in a scene as Seth Dickens, John West, Scotty Lyons, and Jerry, measured her windows for some work on the house they were going to do. She started sunning herself on the deck, an event that drove them crazy with desire. What sent them over the edge was when she started oiling herself all over. In the midday sun, she looked very desirable (far more than she possibly could inside with artificial light). The action was pretty standard as they rubbed her and kissed her all over before she dropped down to offer some oral loving in return. Her hand to gland action was solid as was her eye contact and mouth work. They eventually took the show inside but it never looked as good as the first part of the scene did (even if the action became slightly more heated). They rubbed out loads to her face and she drank them down with ease at the end.

Bonus Scene: Tyla Wynn, handcuffed to a metal frame, started out the bonus scene by twisting during the tease footage to show off her well rounded ass. She was joined by Brad Baldwin, Buster Good, Seth Dickens, and John West, who all started pawing and kissing her to warm her up. I've seen a lot of her in recent months and I think her aggressive sexuality was on display here, from the first dick in her mouth to the last drop of semen slammed down her throat by the guys. If you want to see a gal get used up in an oral-only scene, this would be a good example of one. In all, she was nasty as you could hope for.

Summary: Gobble The Goop 2 had a fair amount of fuck for the buck but fell slightly short of the mark for me in too many cases. If you enjoy the other oral offerings by the makers of gonzo porn, this will appeal to you as well but the rating I felt it earned was a Rent It. John can make some swell porn but the stated limitations of this one already put it on the down side of where it could've been and even a better (for John) picture couldn't save the sometimes generic nature of the action. If you aren't truly into seeing gals slob knobs to completion, you may not like this one all that much but it had enough spark to merit giving it a look with some gals showing tremendous potential.
