Audio/Video Quality: Virtual Sex With Teagan Presley was presented in 16:9 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Joone for Digital Playground. The lighting was somewhat muted this time in an apparent effort to enhance Teagan's look that the harsh lights of most virtual sex releases would not handle as well. Personally, I prefer the harsher lights since they allow for the viewer to see every nook and cranny of the gal with crystal clarity but that's a notion that not everyone agrees with (I think Teagan's cute enough to pull it off under both circumstances too). As a result, the picture wasn't as sharp as some of the competing volumes in this line but the black backdrop of the sex portions and firewall background of the "stories" portion looked decent enough to convey the sense of heat that Teagan is capable of offering. There were no compression artifacts and the clips were advertised as being shot on HD (high definition) so perhaps future releases will enhance the visual portions of the movie. The audio was presented in the usual 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround stereo in English. I could hear everything she said and the music in the background of a few sections (tease and stories) was generic enough. There were a couple of spots when selecting a different type of action of the naughty versus nice feature caused the volume to drop off considerably but the general impression I got here was favorable. For the record though, there was little separation between the channels and limited dynamic range but since the vocals all came from a single source (Teagan), there probably wasn't a lot that could've changed that fact.

Body of Review: Fans of the recent boom in POV (point of view) porn titles have long known where the boom all started. For the most part, it began in the amateur video wave of the late 1980's when home video equipment got small enough to have sex and work a camera at the same time. This led to directors like John "Buttman" Stagliano and Seymore Butts to offer more professional versions of this type of action. The key was to provide a viewing experience that would allow the viewer to fantasize that he was the one having sex with the gal onscreen. Well, in an effort to further that experience, two companies rose to the top of the market with their virtual sex releases; Digital Playground and Digital Sin. Each offered up a different way of looking at the subject with the same basic format taking hold and lasting even today, years later, of having a single gal do a variety of acts on camera. This was likened to the popular videogame experience where you were allowed to follow an adventure with some limited choices of action (often called a "rail" game since you were confined to what amounted to a set of tracks with various forks in the road). Today's review is on the latest effort by director Joone (he wasn't credited but it looked like his older works in the field), Virtual Sex With Teagan Presley.

For those unfamiliar with the gal that graces the front cover of the DVD, she's the youngster originally from Houston, Texas that built a huge group of fans due to her work in gonzo porn. As she became more established in the industry (we're talking in terms of months folks), she landed a prestigious contract with Digital Playground, arguably the best place for a performer wanting to promote their name to the next level and achieve a lasting presence in an industry where the average career of a gal is measured in months with few exceptions. Interestingly to me, I was not one of Teagan's biggest fans as she looked too young and didn't seem to be all that talented until she either took lessons or worked at her act enough to really begin generating heat. I know many of you would argue with me but I think her best work to date is almost all located in Digital Playground releases with a few notable exceptions.

If you've watched these type of DVDs in the past, you'll know that they have ranged from the technically awesome My Plaything Jenna Jameson 2 to the career making Virtual Playground Jesse Jane. I haven't seen all of the titles from the companies but these two serve as excellent examples of the genre and fans of the ladies will appreciate them both. That said, here's what the back DVD cover said of this volume in the series:

So, what was different this time you ask? Well, there were a few new types of action, including anal and titty sex as well as ass and titty massaging options but the strength of this type of show is not in who can offer the most types of options so much as the gal featured in the individual DVDs. In this case, Teagan was a solid selection due to her popularity, rarity of recent releases, and overall willingness to do all types of sex that many contract performers aren't into (primarily anal sex with a passion reserved for those who enjoy it). Here's a brief look at the types of action offered up, noting that the loops for each option could've been longer (always the case for me):

1) Strip: Teagan does a limited dance to generic music as she talks dirty and plays with herself in a skimpy outfit.

2) Stories: Teagan shakes her curvy body to a more upbeat tempo while a voice over talks about some of her fantasies.

3) Foreplay: Teagan offers up her body for four major types of action:
a) Fingering
b) Vibrator
c) Titty Massage
d) Ass Massage
This was accompanied by Teagan having a spot where she gets oral or has an orgasm. As with other volumes in the series, you could change the dynamic of the action by selecting the "naughty" button, causing Teagan to talk dirtier if you like. There were also the two camera angles that were shot at the same time in order to offer true multi-angle visuals. In all, a nice selection of loops to select from for fans of the gal.

4) Sex: Teagan gets the good old hot beef injection from the anonymous male. Okay, the main acts here were:
a) Missionary
b) Doggy
c) Cowgirl
d) Reverse Cowgirl
e) Anal in reverse cowgirl fashion with her partner's face being seen (at last!)
f) Titty Fucking
g) Blowjob
There was the general option of naughty or nice again and a pop shot button so you could shoot the guy's load at your command. I know that the fake pop shots are the biggest point of contention in the genre so the good news is that the facial was real and most of the other shots used some kind of device to simulate a real pop shot rather than rely on the generic computer generated pop shot that Digital Sin still uses. In all, this was a nice selection of choices and I applaud Digital Playground for continuing to expand the offerings on their line of virtual sex releases.

Summary: Virtual Sex With Teagan Presley was a title that you'll either love or hate with little middle ground to speak of. Fans of the virtual sex genre and of the lovely Teagan Presley will probably think a rating of Highly Recommended as being too little for their anal princess just as those who aren't into seeing young women having all sorts of sex (including anal) or detractors of the genre will think I'm being too generous. The bottom line for me is that if you like the star in question, you'll like seeing her in action this way and controlling her image to the point where you can more readily fantasize about her having sex with you. At some point in time, I'd love to see Jesse Jane make a follow up volume as Jenna did, complete with a bonus DVD of extras and maybe even some new options, but this'll hold me over until that time comes around quite well. Check it out and I think you'll understand why Teagan is so popular, even when she's not actively making scores of movies for your pleasure.
