For the second time out, the Suze Randall line switches up directors and instead of seeing material directed by Suze herself or by Holly Randall, we're instead treated to material shot by 'Big Bad Onyxx.' Whereas with his last directorial entry, Hotel Bliss he didn't seem to be as on top of his game as the directors who had come before him, this time out he pretty much nails it and Dear Celeste proves to be another solid addition to one of the finest lines out there in the adult video world.

The picturesque beauty that is Celeste Star hosts the events in this latest release. The premise is that we're in her house and, in addition to watching her strip down and bath, she's reading us some of the steamy fan mail that's been delivered to her home. Sometimes it asks for advice, in which case it leads into scene demonstrating Celeste's ideas, or it simply tells her of a sexy encounter, and when that's the case we get a chance to see it re-enacted right in front of our eyes using a great stable of talent and some of the best looking women in the business.

Scene 4 – Autumn Bliss, Gigi And Ben English: To set this one up, Celeste tells us that Autumn and Gigi were wanting to audition for a porn movies and how they had to give the casting director, Ben, a demonstration of what they could do. The fullframe shot on digital video image is pretty crisp with only some mild edge enhancement keeping it from a higher grade. Colors look nice and lifelike, flesh tones as well, and the black levels remain strong throughout. There are a couple of spots where some low level video noise is present, but these are few and far between and overall this presentation looks pretty good.

Sound:

The English language Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track is clean and clear without any evidence of hiss or distortion, however there are more than a couple of spots where the background music is a tad overbearing and the levels fluctuate a fair bit. Other than that, there are no problems here. There's plenty of bass in the low end of the soundtrack, and the high end is crisp without any tinny effects or break ups in the audio.

Extras:

Aside from a decent sized still gallery, a weblink, and trailers for other Suze Randall DVD releases, Pure Play have included a blooper reel which contains just under three minutes of line flubs, sex scene goof ups, and other candid moments captured on the set. In addition, there's a masturbation scene with Jenna Haze that runs for roughly eight minutes. It starts with her using her fingers on herself but by the time it's over and done with she's fingered her pussy and her ass and used a vibrator on herself. Final Thoughts:

While there have been stronger releases in the past from the Suze Randall line through Pure Play, Dear Celeste is a very solid compilation of five steamy scenes. A great line up of female talent makes this one plenty of fun and it's nice to see the production values staying as strong as they have been for the last couple of years. While another girl/girl scene would have been nice and more from Autumn Bliss and Gigi would have gone a long way, this one is still easy to highly recommend.
