Extra's: The initial extras included on the DVD were the usual five bonus scenes; including three from previous movies with Mercedez in them and a couple more to fill out the package. There was a short biography for Mercedez too but like most such biographies, it wasn't worth much to me. There was a 10 minute long Behind the Scenes feature too (showing more sex and Flick Shagwell as the make up gal under a different name), a positions room, a series of trailers including titles like The New Devil In Miss Jones, Stunner, Janine Been Blackmaled, Nameless, and Spiked; a couple of photogalleries, and some spam for phone sex and Vivid products (as well as the usual double sided DVD cover).

Audio/Video Quality: Who Do You Love? was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as original shot by director Chuck Lords/Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment. The lighting was reasonably pleasing to the eye, limiting the grain and other visual issues I've had in the past with Vivid. I'm led to believe that they've been actively working on this and everything they've been doing has been appreciated in this regard. The composition of the shots was favorable in most of the scenes too, leading me to think more care than average was put into the movie. There were no compression artifacts and in all, I liked the visuals a lot. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo sounded like it was shot in monaural and the music had the only separation between the channels. There were times when the wind noise got in the way but this was part of the movie. Still, it was a step up from many past efforts and I thought it worthy of mentioning.

Body of Review: Vivid Entertainment is one of the biggest companies in porn these days and was well received at the recent 2006 AEE Show for the number of attractive, well dressed contract stars they showcased. Their latest release is another Chuck Lord's title, Who Do You Love?, a showcase for Mercedez who had a record four scenes, culminating in a "kinda" scene with her real life significant other (Ray Balboa). This said, fans of the curvy brunette would be remiss if they didn't check it out but the show had some other sexual highlights as well with performers like TJ Hart, August and Venus assisting in the sexual duties of the scenes. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used but didn't seem all that intrusive this time:

Scene One: Mercedez, in a form fitting brown top and blue jean skirt, was up first on a couch with Scott Nails (whose Mohawk was just starting to grow in). She blew him with a bit more energy than usual and teased his pecker with her implants before he gave a little oral loving in return. The editing was abrupt throughout the show and jumped right into her riding him vaginally on the couch, assisting him as she pumped up and down moderately well (at least compared to most of her other scenes). It ended when he popped off on her chest but there really wasn't a lot of chemistry between them.

Scene Two: Brooke, the attractive gal with nice curves and a new hair style (still comprised of black and bleached hair but now shorter), was up next in an outdoor scene with Chris Charming. The initial action was a 69 with her on top as the two ate each other out but this didn't last long as she wanted his throbbing member inside her pulsing pussy. She seemed to be the sexual aggressor here, sitting on his meat so as to be able to control the action better. They boned until he got a titty fuck from her and blew out a small load to her chest. It wasn't her best work but she still looked cute.

Scene Three: Mercedez, in some blue lingerie, Venus, wearing little more than her birthday suit, and Manuel Ferrara, were up next after the gals had some lesbian fun together to warm up in the bed. Manuel didn't wait long to join them as Venus sat on Mercedez' face as Manuel ate the contract starlet out but Venus wasn't content to passively enjoy the action and gave some oral loving of her own by assisting his actions on her friend's body. Mercedez almost seemed to get off this time but then the gals double teamed his shaft orally which calmed her down. The gals then took turns riding the studly guy but Venus was far more active in the role initially. The sex them almost seemed to be a contest where the gals were competing as the sweat rolled down their bodies, with the ladies getting a facial finish when he rubbed out a load.

Scene Four: TJ Hart, a bleach blonde favorite of mine that I hadn't seen in a long time (too long in fact), was up next with bald Christian XXX in the bedroom. TJ looked toned and healthy with some black lingerie used to enhance her fine figure (nice thong action too!). The couple necked a bit before she went right for his shaft to inhale it but he gave as well as he got and she seemed appreciative of the skill he employed here too. They boned vaginally before the anal kicked in and while it went slower in her backdoor, she seemed very able to handle him as he plugged away like a champion (I'd have busted a nut in no time). She eventually coaxed out a load to her chest when he pulled out and jerked off a little bit. In all, I liked the action and thought the two of them had some chemistry together.

Scene Five: Mercedez, looking as good as ever, had the next scene with her real life boyfriend Ray Balboa on the stairs and bed where she rode his face several times. This scene was interesting in that it took place with the couple narrating over the sex. In the BTS feature, it was stated that he couldn't handle the distractions of the people on set, the lighting, and all the other factors of a porn scene shoot (I'd probably be lame myself under those circumstances) but it relegated the action to a footnote more than anything else with some limited oral and vaginal action going on.

Scene Six: Mercedez, in the last scene of the movie and perhaps her best, enjoyed the sexual skill of Jean Val Jean outdoors on the lawn. If this didn't have her best blowjob ever recorded, I'd be surprised given the mannerisms she showed but the titty fuck added some heat too. The guy is considered a "pretty" man by many who have seen him and it made sense that she'd be attracted to him like most of his coworkers have been in recent months. They did bone after he barely tasted her crotch but the action was almost always showing him doing the work and her holding on. If she ever learns to let herself go from start to finish in a scene, I predict she'll be a spectacle to behold (in a good way mind you) but this is rarely the case in her movies as I type.

Summary: Who Do You Love? will easily be a solid hit for fans of Mercedez but my observations of this curvy cutie remain the same as in most of her releases. She has that dark, sultry look and aside from her implants could be a really big name if she'd spend some time trying to lose her inhibitions that seem to haunt her in her scenes. The other cast members were skilled and seemed to do a better job but the extras and amount of fuck for the buck seemed to warrant a rating of Rent It unless you're really into Mercedez (which is understandable given her physical appeal to guys like me). Check it out if you aren't one of her cheerleaders but it wasn't a bad little flick, even if director Paul Thomas wouldn't put his name on it.
