Extras: Like most of the Shane's World releases of late, there were some good extras with my favorite being the 35 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage. The cast and crew were having a lot of fun and I enjoyed watching it twice (once before and once while writing this review). Extra sex, nudity, and some of the mini-dramas were all covered here nicely, making it enhance the value of the DVD. If you're a stoner, you'll have a lot more reason to enjoy this one (just watch it already). The other good extra was the 11.5 minute bonus blowjob by Roxy Jezel on a guy called Smokey. She was as good at giving head as ever, doing so in a secluded section of woods in the Santa Clara area. I'm tempted to list the disclaimer at the front of the movie as an extra as it was hilarious too but you can see what I mean on your own. Audio/Video Quality: Penny Flame's Blazed & Confused was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by Penny Flame for release by the Shane's World line for New Sensations (one of their last such titles since the company has left the fold recently). The series is supposed to look like it was shot by an amateur, something like many other Pro-Am series, and it did in virtually all scenes (though Penny is far too vocal to let me think she clammed up in the scenes she wasn't heard in). The lighting would wash out the fleshtones, the camera would lose focus, and the composition of the shots varied at times but the raw energy of the show remained intact as the series tends to be good at. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio was decent but I didn't notice a lot of separation between the channels (the center channel provided pretty much all of the sound) and the dynamic range was about average for the series. The technical values in general were once again decent but a bit more work might help them even more in the future.

Body of Review: Penny Flame has long been my favorite stoner outside of maybe Cheech & Chong (I'm old school mother fuckers!) so when given the chance to review another of her Shane's World movies, this one titled Penny Flame's Blazed & Confused, I jumped on it. I don't advocate drug use and having been acquainted with some who have been doing various substances for years; I can tell you that all the "pot doesn't effect you" propaganda is about as accurate as the crud coming out of the offices of the federal enforcement agencies charged with controlling such substances. That said, like fatty foods, alcohol, smoking, and tawdry sex with wanton women; I think drugs should be legalized to allow people to make their own choices about what they consume (as long as they aren't otherwise impacting others; no driving fucked up, not ripping people off to get high, etc.). So, with that said, I review the latest directorial effort of Penny that glorifies pot (although watching the characters of the movie may prove to scare people more away from drugs than anything the feds could do). There was a lot of comedic skits and some non-standard sex scenes as expected by a DVD from this company (handjobs are all the rage in them; sign me up for my two pumps Penny!) with a lot of overall entertainment value on hand (pun intended) to show for your money. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Roxy Jezel, the light haired English gal kneeling on the lower left corner of the front DVD cover, gave Kyle Moore some good loving on the hotel room bed while Penny goofed around behind her. The stoners will "get it" as they like to say and the mundane folks will be able to laugh their asses off at how goofy the cast and crew acted. If you're looking for your father's porn, pass this one up but if you want something that you'll be able to enjoy for a long, hard time, this might be just what the doctor ordered.
