Audio/Video Quality: My First Porn 6 was presented in 1.85: anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for distribution by Digital Playground. The visual elements of the movie were consciously designed to look as they did with a slightly rough look to support the thematic concept of the show. The flesh tones were accurate (though occasionally saturated), the composition of the shots well done, and all the lighting suited the ladies in their respective scenes. The DVD was mastering allowed for no compression artifacts to be observed and no video noise popped up, completing a very nice visual presentation that worked all around. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways. Absent was the fancy, and typically lame, porn music many of Robby's peers rely on to mask various audio flaws. There were some repetitive moans and comments used by the gals but they weren't as heat draining as they could have been, something I appreciate being a consideration in Robby's movies.

Body of Review: Robby D. is a porn fan turned director now shooting the majority of titles at Digital Playground. His wealth of ideas and supporting staff (primarily Joey and Nick) have been leading the company to buck the industry trends, selling more volumes of the various Jack titles all the time. The latest such title is My First Porn 6, the sequel to My First Porn 5, where the idea behind this series is that Jack is actually shooting porn, not beauty contests or scamming gals with music video work, and as a novice director he tries to incorporate all the flaws of modern porn as what he wants to shoot. The humor of the scenes comes in when he runs into the everyday troubles of the industry (flaky gals, language barriers, over done stereotyped settings and concepts, etc.) and the occasional pearl of wisdom by his mentor, Leo Pradnesh (by Harry Bali with a mechanically driven voice over by one of the creative geniuses behind the scenes of the franchise). This time, each of the scenes continued to demonstrate some of the problems that pop up on porn shoots, from the condom only gal, to the inconvenience of a gal's period, to flaking by male talent; all handled with the silly make do attitude a guerilla director like Robby D. is capable of projecting when he's in character. Here's a look at the scenes, noting that the one condom used wasn't used for the entire scene and seemed more a prop than anything else, as well as a closer look at the reported cherry busting of Cody Bangs:

Scene One: Delilah Strong, a really cute gal with a wonderful ass, started off the show by waiting on the couch with her ass in the air in her fishnet outfit and miniskirt. She's good looking enough that Robby wisely had her move back to sitting upright in order to get a good look at her (though scene partner Scott Nails wanted to tap right into that fine body of hers), and she began aggressively sucking him off like a seasoned veteran using her hand, mouth, and eye contact to get him going strong. This led to her rubbing her pussy on his lap and then demanding the use of a condom, causing difficulties for Scott since he couldn't feel anything (or keep his erection up). Scene Two: Riley Shy, a very lean red head in a classic black dress, was up next with Scott Nails; trying to get in some POV camera work as per Robby's mentor. Okay, after plenty of kidding around about Cody having a small penis, both Robby and Kelsey were astonished to find out he was as well endowed as Chris, and through some skillful editing, it was made to look like Cody was actually having sex with her (using stunt cock Chris whose face was never shown). Summary: My First Porn 6 was not the strongest release of the series but it was still interesting how director Robby D. can humorously look at the porn industry and all the things that can go wrong so often on a set. The non-sex stuff doesn't get in the way of the sexual activity but serves to enhance it most of the time, so even the weaker scenes had some decent entertainment value. Not relying on the lovely contract stars here, he took a big chance and it didn't always pay off but I did enjoy myself enough to rate this one as Recommended thanks in large part to the work of Carmella, Holly and Kelsey (the other two didn't live up to their potential nearly enough). If you just like straightforward sex and lots of fuck for the buck though, you'll want to rent this one first as it was far shyer in terms of sexual material than other volumes of the related series. Still, the fun factor was high and it looked to be well worth a look so check it out when it's released next month.
