Extra's: The best extra was the 13 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage from Mad Bob; one of the cameramen on the movie. Audio/Video Quality: Almost Virgins 3 was presented in a 1.85:1 ratio non-anamorphic letterboxed widescreen color that looked nice in most ways as directed by Otto Bauer for release by Mach 2/Supercore. In his favor, Otto wisely used the substantial talents of Jim Powers on camera and assisting with the other technical matters so with that kind of wealth of technical knowledge helping him, it really shouldn't be a surprise that the fleshtones looked accurate, the composition of the camera angles enhanced the looks of the cast, and the amount of grain and video noise was minimal. I saw no compression artifacts either and this led me to think the DVD mastering was well handled too. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English with no separation worth mentioning on the vocal aspects of the movie but the music was pretty darned good even if a few more lines might've helped keep it from sounding repetitive.

Body of Review: Otto Bauer has proven his skills on booth sides of the camera in porn of late, showing he is more than just the hanger on of hotty Audrey Hollander as some initially suggested a while back. As he carves out his own niche directing for Mach 2, the man seems to be evolving his own style that combines some humor with the hardcore action most of you want to see. His latest effort is Almost Virgins 3, a collection of scenes starring newcomers to the field of porn that have been in a limited number of movies or at least trying something new in their respective scenes. As a whole, the down side of newcomers; including gals that could barely handle anal as an example, was present but the freshness factor and ability of Otto to put them to ease and coax out a good performance balanced that out. Here's a brief look at the scenes, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Annette Schwartz, the blonde cutie seen on the second from the left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up first as she seemed nervous about doing her second anal scene (talking to the cameraman, Jim, about her scene with Rocco). The amount of fuck for the buck was solid, the extras decent, and the technical values very high on the food chain so I rated Almost Virgins 3 as Recommended. If a few of the newcomers had been a bit more skilled in what they were doing, I'd have raised the rating a notch too, and some of you like the passive ladies a lot more than I do so that would be a signal for those of you to adjust your personal ratings accordingly. If Otto continues to provide this kind of quality, I might have to look up some of his back catalog titles (the covers of which offered up a lot of performers fans can't get enough of).
