Audio/Video Quality: Ass Parade 8 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director D. Sanchez for release by Bang Bros on their website, and then on this DVD. One of the trademark issues the scenes shot for this series has is that the technical values always seem on the low side, as if consumers of the website will shrug off any problems as being "good enough" for porn. The lighting tends to be whatever ambient light is available, resulting in grain, shadows, and video noise as frequent visitors to the scenes released by the company. This impacts the accuracy of the fleshtones and can be an issue if you care as much about the technical aspects of your porn as I do. That said, the five scenes here varied more than a little bit in terms of picture quality but the general quality wasn't as bad as some of the company's previous works, skating by on the energy factor provided by the performers, most of whom are established professionals (not the amateurs others claim highlight the series). The composition of the shots and the editing all served to provide a mixed bag too, making me wish the raw footage was handed over to a better editor to clean up a bit before being released on DVD. Still, it was better then a lot of their earlier work and the ladies had fun so I was largely forgiving of the many mistakes observed. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English, with the vocals on the low end at times but not covered by droning music except for the very beginning of the scenes.

Body of Review: D. Sanchez is one of those unknown directors at Bang Bros who primarily make scenes for website content rather then compete against the technically more demanding DVD market. Say what you will though, a lot of consumers have learned to accept the technical flaws of such work thanks to the manner in which the company seems to find a lot of new gals that others haven't used in movies before; proving to be much like the Ed Powers of the modern age in bringing in newbies. That said, the titles they have that used established performers tend to fare less well since the lack of camera skill tends to weaken scenes more than a little bit, as was the case in their latest release; Ass Parade 8. The last title in the series that I watched and reviewed was Ass Parade 2 so I was thankful that the picture and audio were better (though not much better), yet the use of seasoned performers is sure to piss off a lot of folks that are I the market for new gals, not the same old retreads everyone else is using. The dynamic was simple; the gals teased the camera, usually had sex with each other, and were then joined by a man. If you're still interested, here's a look at the scenes, noting that all the men wore condoms:

Scene One: Alexis Malone, a light haired gal well known in porn circles, Katrina, an attractive gal I'm sure I've seen under a different name, and Jay Mack, were up in the first scene after the ladies teased the camera with their juicy asses. I liked Alexis' ass the best but Katrina had a prettier face and each played up to their strengths in this 23:53 minute scene. The outdoor footage showed some camera work reminiscent of a seaboard voyage but the lesbian action served to show the ladies weren't shy, even if the director couldn't stop squawking long enough to let them shine (intrusive directors are often the bane of my existence in porn, especially ones that don't let the women carry the scenes). The ladies went at one another on the deck outside, sucking and licking each other with plenty of tease before jay joined them for some pussy pounding action after they slobbed his knob. The gals were active rides with Alexis doing vaginal and Katrina going all out on the anal. Jay was up to the challenge thanks in part to his condom deadening the sensation, and as fake as the performances were to me, the energy itself was a decent display of showmanship before the facial pop.

Scene Two: Italia Blue, a short and stubby gal of mixed heritage, had a lot of junk in her trunk too with the ability to wiggle her ass in a heated fashion as she walked down the hallway and in the apartment. She might not have been a hotty in terms of looks but ass fans will appreciate her ample sample, as well as the tease she provided before taking care of Preston. She also had a large rack of all natural breasts, getting her ass oiled up before putting them to use with a solid little titty fuck. She was an aggressive rider of cock in her pussy and took the facial well enough, needing just a little more polishing up to reach her potential. The scene lasted 26:51 minutes and her enthusiasm alone was better than many in the previous volumes of the series for those who care.

Scene Three: Lauren Phoenix, the best known performer of the entire movie (bar none), was up next in a crappy looking room to show off her awesome ass in her green outfit. She's put on some weight since I last saw her in action, not a bad thing the way she was wiggling here during the tease (like most of the gals; if you prefer the boyish looking 18 year olds pushed on you by the industry, walk away from this one). She stripped and went to the bed, showing off all she had to offer before Bianca joined her. Bianca looked a lot like a smaller version of the fabulous Olivia O'Lovely but with thicker thighs to play with, the gals enjoying some fine lesbian play before slacker Preston hooked up with them for this 30:41 show. Lauren did anal and Bianca did some powerful vaginal pounding, the meat puppet at a loss to keep up with them. It was a good scene from the ladies point of view though and they saved the DVD for me in several ways. It ended with a booty pop to Bianca's fine cheeks with Lauren's face right down there on it.

Scene Four: Sara Jay, the hotty with the great ass on the front DVD cover, actually looked like she was twice as big in the movie as on the cover but part of that might have been because she was hanging out with very lean Jessi Summers on the rooftop. They did some tease and the walking alone was cool though the level of junk in Sara's trunk approached wildly ample (almost to overflowing). The tease footage was again solid and led to Preston join them during the 28:41 scene. He took forever to get hard but the gal on gal rimming was sweet and Sara was a great rider as her ass cheeks rippled like crazy in the doggy. He did pop a large load on their faces to close it out but the emphasis was on Sara performing most of the time.

Scene Five: Trinity Post and Daryn Darby, another mix of lean and thick gals worth exploring, were up last as the pair were introduced and did some teasing. Each gal had their appeal and they seemed less willing to wait as they felt and toyed with each other in the Miami setting. They were given some time to do lesbian tricks on one another before Jay Mack joined them in the 25:48 minute scene to follow the formula like the others had done. The only real difference between this scene and some of the others was in how the cumswapping ended the show. There was anal, a fair amount of anal at that, but as driven as the ladies were, it proved to be a bit much for the performer to take and served as a growing experience for her.

Summary: Ass Parade 8 by director D. Sanchez for Bang Bros had a lot of round ass worth playing with and but for the technical values and lack of decent extras, might have rated a very respectable score but even as a Rent It, the show had a fair amount of fuck for the buck to appreciate. If you're looking for something just slightly different, Ass Parade 8 might be for you, though keep in mind that the women were not generally new to porn and have almost all been in better efforts elsewhere.
