Extra's: The best extra for most of you will be the 22.5 minute long bonus scene from Decades by Tory Lane and Tommy Gunn. I described it briefly below for those who care; noting it was a full service sex scene with anal. I like unique extras that are made for specific projects so the lengthy 30 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Kylie Ireland was better for me; consisting largely of some nudity, minor extra sex footage, and a number of bloopers as well as the cast preparing for their scenes. There was a photogallery, some spam, and trailers to movies like O: The Power of Submission, Tailgunners, Jane Blond DD7, Carmen & Austyn, The Contractor, Tailgunners, University of Austyn 1, and University of Austyn 2.

Audio/Video Quality: Snatch was presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen (letterboxed) 1.85:1 ratio color presentation as shot by director Eli "Mr. Ireland" Cross for Adam & Eve. Unlike some of the churned out titles he knocks out in record time on a shoe string budget for various companies (though admittedly not nearly the same scale as his recent feature Corruption), he seemed to have a bit of extra time and money for this one; perhaps because it looked designed to break contract hotty Austyn Moore into the limelight. The feature elements were decent considering all the factors and the sex was mainly a result of the cast allowed to do what they do best but the technical areas had some minor issues that one would expect on a porn feature. The lighting was pretty good and that limited the grain and video noise somewhat but there were some compression artifacts that seemed the result of a higher then average compression ratio. The film look of the movie seemed to be done on purpose but at least the composition of the shots seemed to enhance (and favor) the ladies in most cases. I would have greatly favored the movie being done in anamorphic widescreen to add detail to the picture but this is a good place to point out that the movie looked better then just about any movie shot for the company in recent memory; including some of their bigger budget releases that are up for technical awards. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, showing little separation and a dynamic range indicative of a webcast but suitable for the thematic elements of the plot. I could hear the cast and while some of the voice work was hollow, it wasn't badly done.

Body of Review: Eli "Mr. Ireland" Cross has had what amounts to a nonstandard path in becoming a porn director though it should be noted his most recent work proves that with the right idea and budget, he can take on the monolithic companies and beat them hands down; regardless of whether he wins formal awards in January by politically motivated characters. His most recent title released on DVD was for Adam & Eve, starring their former contract hotty, Austyn Moore (star of Carmen & Austyn, The Contractor, Tailgunners, University of Austyn 1, and University of Austyn 2) in a title called Snatch; a cleverly titled feature about a professional burglar (that happens to have a lovely pussy). While Austyn might have the acting ability of a youthful Jenna Jameson, she at least can fall back on her looks and one glance at the cover of the DVD will tell you that this shouldn't be underestimated. In terms of the story, she plays a hardened thief that takes on an apprentice and soon finds that life gets more complicated as a result. It was a breezy and light plot but with such a fine cast backing her up, there was a lot to enjoy about the movie. If you're still interested, here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that some condoms were used:

Scene One: Regan Anthony, in a darkened bedroom at night (simulated by the reddish light used, much like mainstream movies and shows seem to do these days), wore her sleek lingerie as she sucked off Jerry with a degree of competence before he returned the oral favor and snacked on her bent over crack. She was vocally appreciative of his pussy poking style but seemed content to let him do most of the work as he plugged away in various positions. It wasn't the best scene to open with but her fans will probably appreciate it; including the moderate pop to her abdomen.

Scene Two: Taryn Thomas, a very cute brunette known for her extreme sexual antics, perverted Julie Night, and meat puppet Steve Holmes, were up next in bed as Julie played amateur filmmaker trying to capture the moment in bed as well as on camera. The ladies ate each other out with some attention to his cock as well, leading to him boning both of them in turn. Taryn was the most vocal of the trio, adding in her nasty talk to enhance the moment more than a little bit. The anal seemed to turn the ladies on even more but it was one of those scenes that got better with each moment, with lots of anal taste testing (ATM and ATOGM) and other depraved tricks worth checking out if you like hardcore porn, resulting in the ending crotch pop after some salad tossing (rimming his ass). Whew!

Scene Three: Austyn Moore, the cutie on the front DVD cover, and one of my absolutely favorite Latina hotties, Sativa Rose, were up next in the bed (of the director's downtown loft). The pair ate clam as though it was their driving thing in life, another time when the night theme was addressed with the filter that reduced the light more than I prefer. Still, both gals seemed to exude a sense of heat for the other, showing some playfulness as they addressed each other's needs orally and with fingers. The glass toy use was interesting but not really the strong point of the flick, as they finished up with a kiss.

Scene Four: Georgia Peach, the curvy Floridian gal with lightened hair and a big juicy ass, was up next on the couch with Mike Blaze/Andrews as the two made out. This led to her blowing him with a lot of energy but the scene ended WAY too quickly and a few moments of knob slobbing wasn't enough to satisfy me.

Scene Five: Darryl Hanah, Lexi Love, Julie Night, Will Powers, Barry Scott, Mike Blaze/Andrews, and Jack Fountain, were up next in the large living room as they had an orgy. The scene was full of oral and vaginal screwing with some lesbian action and cameos by some of the best known names in porn as part of the plot. If you like seeing blowjobs, cunnilingus, vaginal screwing and partner switching, you'll like this a lot but I'm not giving you a detailed laundry list of every single facet of the scene (and for the record, it came off like a group of amateurs doing one another in a newly established group grope set up; mirroring the dynamic needed for the plot). The pop shots went to the faces, bush, and ass cheeks of the ladies for those who care, but it seemed a bit mechanical at times compared to some of the better action of the movie.

Scene Six: Austyn Moore, still looking fine, was up next with her former partner Derrick Pierce as part of a payoff sequence. The scene started underway, an idea I've never liked in a feature flick, with her showing some level of skill at cocksucking. He ate her in return and he screwed her with a condom in a few positions vaginally. She did show some active riding skills, something she should work on for better reviews, though her over acted breathing and vocals could have been toned down for better effect. The pop went to her fine little ass; ending the sexual portion of the fluff piece.

Bonus Scene: Decades: 11/22/2005: Tory Lane, acting like a teenage headbanger from the 1980's, she jammed in her skimpy outfit until muscular Tommy Gunn joined her on the couch. He had blue highlights in his hair and seemed more like a bouncer from the time period then a young guy on the make but Tory made up for it as she jumped his ever lovin' bones for over 21 minutes. The sex included oral, vaginal, and anal with a lot of energy; more then in most of the scenes from the feature itself.

Summary: Snatch by director Eli "Mr. Ireland" Cross for Adam & Eve was exactly what it looked like it was designed to be; a breezy little feature flick for the company to showcase their then-contract gal Austyn. I've never thought their gals showed much acting skill but they routinely appeal to me where it really counts; below the belt. The extras were solid this time, the technical matters handled well enough, and the fun factor of the story was such that I enjoyed the movie enough to rate it as Recommended, though some of the scenes could have had something more (like Georgia's truncated hummer) to make it a better value. In short, Snatch was a cute little flick designed for fans of Austyn that fit in with the body of her other works (Carmen & Austyn, The Contractor, Tailgunners, University of Austyn 1, and University of Austyn 2) fairly well so give it a look if you like her.
