Extra's: The best extra was easily the 9.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that included mainly a series of interviews by the cast in various states of undress but also some photoshoot material and clips from their scenes. There was also a true double sided cover, a photogallery and trailers to movies like Altered Minds, Insexts, McKenzie Illustrated, McKenzie Made, Krystal Therapy, Ashton Asylum, Chanel No. 1, and others.

Audio/Video Quality: Sophia Revealed was presented in a non-anamorphic, letterboxed widescreen with an aspect ratio of about 1.78:1 as shot by director Laurent Skye/Richard Hamilton for Club Jenna. I still hope future efforts apply anamorphic widescreen HD to them but I know that the industry is in transition at this writing so we'll have to see what happens (Vivid has announced releasing some truly high definition titles, starting next week in fact with the Debbie Does Dallas remake/revisit). The colors looked very accurate, the lighting was a mixture of various techniques that sometimes worked better than others, the level of grain typically minimal (nonexistent), and the composition of the shots about the same as Chanel No. 1 having in terms of making the performers look better than usual all of the time. There were no compression artifacts, no video noise, and while I would've liked more of a straightforward approach to the scenes, the movie wasn't bad looking at all. The only effect that I really didn't like was the great overuse of motion de-hancement; something some of his peers favor too strongly as well, and the jumpy editing. I know this style is practically a trademark of the company but perhaps easing up on its use would go a long way to improving the show. The only choice for audio was the basic 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio track, this time using vocals mixed in with the loud music to enhance the heat and energy for me. Walt Jizzney handled the music and while my personal tastes run in a different direction, the thumping soundtrack had a few decent moments, even for me. There wasn't a lot of separation between the channels and the dynamic range lacked a bit but I didn't get the sense that the audio was blown off here at all, helping to elevate the quality of the production a bit.

Body of Review: Sophia Rossi is one of those curvy porn gals that is best known for her glamour look, reminiscent of some of the Hollywood starlets of yesteryear. While not to everyone's liking, she appeals to me not just for her great legs, pretty eyes, or other physical features but also for what comes across as her positive attitude. At the 2007 AEE Show, we spoke far too briefly but a few buyers from Germany had been stoking up on her on a trip a bunch of conventioneers took ("Who is dis bootiful vomen?" while shoving their digital camera in my face) so at least we had something to talk about outside of the boorish interviews taking place all around us. Well, as a contract gal, she's now gracing the small screen yet again thanks to director Laurent Skye and Club Jenna with Sophia Revealed; a series of vignettes that had some of the most consistently heated sex I've seen from one of their movies to date. Each of the six scenes was set up with a slight premise or fantasy being catered too, some of them working better than others but none of them proving to be fillers. My appreciation for the entire female cast was only part of the reason I enjoyed it so much since they seemed to really like who they were working with too. That said, here's a look at the scenes, noting that only one condom scene was used:

Scene One: Sophia Rossi, the curvy cutie on the front cover, was up first as she played a housewife type character cooking some wieners on the backyard grill (though on a set made to look like the backyard) in her hot pink, form fitting outfit as studly Erik Everhard rested. I had to hand it to her for getting the top talent for the first scene, aggressively slobbing his knob with a passionate embrace as she used hand and mouth to get him as hard as a diamond. That led to her impaling her pussy on his cock in the chair, riding him with an equal vigor while yelling out how she was coming in an over the top manner. It was a fine performance as he spanked her and sucked on her titties, the gal grinding her hips to make it even better. They did all the standard positions and say what you will about contract stars, the gal gave it up really well as the sweaty couple got off. My only complaint was that she wore wraparound sun glasses that covered her pretty eyes but it ended with her jerking him off to her face, him taking over only at the last minute to spew some population pudding on her glasses that she licked clean. It had solid chemistry and energy, marking a great opening scene. Whew!

Scene Two: Tory Lane, one of the hottest gals in porn for the way she dominates most scenes with her aggressive sexuality, was up next with Derrick Pierce in a harshly lit room that largely washed out the background. She wore black fishnet stockings, matching hot pants, and a corset, losing them quickly as she went from playing a futuristic game to the oldest game going. She dropped to her knees to blow him, rubbing herself as she worked the two of them into a frenzy. It was a messy hummer but she focused all of her attention on giving him the kind of head we'd all like, playfully going at it with abandon before sitting in his lap to actively ride his cock on the chair. The mix of vocals to music was weaker than most of the scenes here but she was dynamite in how she took off on his cock, shouting dirty talk as she slammed herself onto him. It also ended with a facial as she begged for his come and gave some more head, the modest load serving to punctuate the scene rather well.

Scene Three: Tyler Faith, another cutie worth checking out, and Sophia Rossi were up next in the obligatory lesbian scene on a set that looked like it was supposed to be an art gallery. Tyler looked a lot like Jessica Drake here (a good thing) but the overuse of toys was perhaps something I might have done differently, even if I enjoyed their performances more than a little bit. Otherwise, it offered up something for the gal pal lovers in the audience, and gave the vignettes some diversity.

Scene Four: Roxy DeVille, a sexy brunette that has always struck me as a gal that takes no shit from anyone, was up next in a black bikini-styled outfit with micro miniskirt, looking more glammed out than I have probably ever seen her before. The tease was definitely too short but when it came time to work the other top talent of the title, Tommy Gunn, she showed more enthusiasm than a stripper eyeing a guy with a wad of hundreds. The oral she gave him seemed more seductive and slow than the others provided, increasing in tempo as she made eye contact with him and smiled. Her hand to gland combat technique was great and she rode him in just as many active positions as the others did in their scenes before manually jerking out his load. The way she slowly but steadily increased her dynamic with him was really sweet, showing some pacing that I liked as an alternative to the way some seemed to be 100% all the way (which is far less believable).

Scene Five: Trina Michaels, yet another busty babe that I've found to be really talented, was up next working in a porn hair salon under the tutelage of Sophia Rossi, as she serviced Anthony Hardwood in the chair. She did his hair and then dropped to her knees to please with Sophia rubbing them and otherwise assisting but staying clear to let Trina work her wonders on him alone. The scene used some special visual effects like a split screen but the vocals were dominant and even though I wanted more participation from Sophia, Trina was on fire! That she took such a vaginal hammering was topped by the anal that followed, the gal wanting more and letting him know it. She was good enough here that I'm almost surprised they didn't offer her a contract as their "dirty" girl, the wonderfully wicked scene ending with her taking a mouth pop. Yum!

Scene Six: Sophia Rossi, now dressed in a skimp business outfit, addressed a boardroom meeting about some Club Jenna project, keeping studly Manuel Ferrara for some extracurricular work while letting Brahman Salem, Buster O. Ring, John Amsterdam, and Marc M. leave. The chemistry between these two was different from her scene with Erik but no less potent as she proved her sexual potency was no fluke in the earlier scenes, suck starting his cock and jerking him off so rapidly that I couldn't keep up with her hand motions. She even deepthroated him before the short titty fuck, leading to the only condom clad scene of the movie. She rode him very hard and actively, screaming out as before as she met him thrust for nasty thrust. Several positions later, she sucked him to a large climax into her mouth and on her face, ending the final scene with as much intensity as I had come to expect given the previous five scenes.

Summary: Sophia Revealed by director Laurent Skye for Club Jenna was an excellent showcase for all the ladies but especially Sophia Rossi. The quality of the action, the technical values, and amount of fuck for the buck replay value were all good reasons to rate this one as Highly Recommended but the chemistry and passion were equally important too. If this is the future of the company, I know that a lot of people will be eating crow over their dismissals regarding contract performers, as Sophia Revealed proved to be a gem worthy of picking up. Good job!
