Extra's: The best extra was the 22.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jake Malone. It showed how serious some of the gals were about taking the pain (and receiving it) as well as some of the preparations involved in getting such performances out of the gals. There was extra sex (with Jake getting in as much additional pervert time as possible as he directed the dominant gals to push the subs even further), some funny anecdotes, and creative editing to make it fresh and fun to watch. There was also a photogallery, a cast list, some limited filmographies, trailers to shows like Fuck Slaves, Gang Bang My Face, Nice Fucking View, Own My Ass, and a few links.

Audio/Video Quality: Bitchcraft was presented in the standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn is shot these days, by director Jake Malone for Evil Angel. The picture was decent and showed some improvement over older releases at Red Light District by Jake with often nice lighting, solid composition of most shots (making the women look more appealing than usual), and good fleshtones; looking as technically solid as any of his peers in the Evil Angel stable. Jake kept his rough edge and raw energy at full levels while addressing my concerns nicely, marking it as a turning point in his favor if he can keep the momentum going. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English and was generally well done although it wasn't anything out of the ordinary for a gonzo production. I could hear the gals moan, groan, and talk dirty so I was pleased with it but there wasn't any separation between the channels and the dynamic range wasn't all that great either.

Body of Review: Jake Malone has long struck me as a misogynistic asshat that absolutely hates women. In recent times, I've asked a number of industry insiders about him and while they all suggest he's definitely a pervert to the core, they also say that he doesn't truly hate women so much as project that image as part of his shtick in porn. Now that he is distributed by Evil Angel, the ante has been raised as he effectively competes with some of the top gonzo directors in porn; forcing him to continue to try and offer something off the beaten track. Well, once again he does this in the form of the recently released Bitchcraft; a lesbian BDSM flick that few will have no opinion about if they watch it. The emphasis here was on true pain, anal antics, and lots of role playing games as the ladies served the whims of Jake by engaging in some of the harshest lesbian antics that I've seen to date. The cast was populated with some of the biggest names in the jizz biz too, raising the stakes more than a little, with the kind of show that few newcomers to the genre will easily stomach. Scene One: Annette Schwartz, a German newcomer anal queen of substantial skills, was up first as she tormented Lorelei Lee, who had a bondage device ashtray attached to her mouth. Lorelei also wore a satin blue dress, garter and stockings as Annette (dressed in very skimpy lingerie) tried to make her drop the device. As things were planned out, the ashtray was dropped and Annette enacted her revenge, jamming her hand in the gals mouth and rimming her in preparation before swatting her with a riding crop. She even did some face sitting before the tables were turned and Lorelei took charge. Fans of rough lesbian sex have long had Belladonna's movies to appreciate but this was just as hardcore as my brunette buddy has made to date (and it was only the first scene!). They gagged with a double ended dildo, going deeper than I'd have thought possible orally before more toys plunged into their anal cavities and some flogging went on. Rosy ass cheeks and eating out were common here and then Annie "The Squirt Bitch" Cruz entered the picture to assist them; sporting a wrestler's mask and boots as she pissed/squirted all over the place and duo. I thought the threesome would do more together but Annie's minimal use aside, it was definitely a scene not made for the weak of heart. Wow!

Scene Two: Bobbi Starr and Sara Jane Ceylon, the pair of ladies featured on the center of the front cover, were up next with the dominatrix meets the schoolgirl dynamic pressed outside the house on a cloudy day at dusk. Bobbi was in charge and loved to swat her ass and finger it between other depraved tricks. Sara's ass was pushed high in the air, looking heart shaped as a result, before some oral and other antics drove them inside. There was a lot of ass play, be it oral, toys, or swats, the living room couch serving as the vocal point of the scene when they went inside. The anal strap on action was active and like the first scene, I liked it mostly because they appeared to get off on the twisted action than for the harsh action itself. The anal 69 ended the scene and it was also pretty warm.

Scene Three: Dana DeArmond, the queen of internet porn, and manly looking Princess Donna, were up next as Dana took a beating at the hands of Donna in a living room. Donna pulled out an electro-shock device where you could see the arcing bolts of electricity, not sparing Dana one bit as she applied it to pussy and tits as a means of getting Dana to eat her out better. Whether she was performing for the camera or if the electricity really hurt, the impression I got was that this was the real deal. There were few times when it looked like Dana was into the action and like another recent scene, this weakened it for me more than her butchy partner did, especially when Dana was a "fucking weenie" as Donna suggested during the electro-anal probe action. The penetrative action was decent though as Donna sported a strap on dildo and fans of foot fetish action will be happy that some took place; ending with Dana fingering her boss in what came off as a scene made for those wanting something extremely different than usual.

Scene Four: Claire Adams and Isis Love, another pair of ladies following the theme, were up outside as they posed and enjoyed the dynamic as expected. The pushing of limits this time was done with each getting off this time, more believably at that, with the power exchange coming off as though the limits were pre-established for safety. There was plenty of anal play and the face sitting was great; perhaps even better than the dildo work for me. The contrast between their skin tone was visually interesting and while this scene relied more heavily on fingers and dirty talk, it was a step back up to the earlier scenes in terms of heat for me (as well as chemistry).

Scene Five: Jada Fire, Ariel Summers, Melissa Lauren, and Ariel X, were up next as Melissa worked Jada over on the couch. This didn't last long as the duo both took charge of the two Ariel's (shown on the front cover on the upper right hand side), Jada even punching one of them repeatedly in the legs. The two submissive's seemed to enjoy the slightly painful action, with the scene using toys and fingers as aggressively as the other scenes but also lacking in any turnabout fun for the most part; something that I tend to have mixed feelings about. It was slower than the other scenes too and the ladies came off like they were just trying to learn BDSM antics on the job (OTJ training is best left for internet scenes). The face sitting was as good as elsewhere and the vocals by a couple of them elevated the scene above the Donna/Dana scene but the levels of heat and chemistry weren't consistent and as a fan of two of these gals, I should have really enjoyed it a lot more.

Scene Six: Lexi Love, in a sexy light blue satin dress, walked in the door to follow Jake's orders off screen. He inspected the merchandise and found it to his liking, bringing her out back to find the appealing (and curvy) Harmony. The gals were hot enough to warrant a spot on the lower left hand side of the front cover, Harmony taking charge by the grotto of the pool, choking Lexi and making sure that the gal would be compliant. They went inside after some light play, the electro shock device coming back into play when they made it to the living room. The arcs of energy were used all along the cutie's body, the emphasis being on her nipples more than anywhere else. Lexi seemed to cry for real but Harmony made it up to her with some kisses and lighter teasing, the toys and fingers spreading the holes (primarily the ass) wide open as a result. Harmony also bestowed some pleasure on Lexi. Rimming her little ass and going down on her as if to reward her for being a good sport (or for her squirting action earlier). They swapped out on the oral and ended it with the weird milk enemas that have grown in use lately, Jake getting a taste too in the BTS, but the farting it out onto Harmony's face. While kind of nasty, it was still just twisted enough to provide something different as expected from the director.

Summary: Bitchcraft by director Jake Malone for Evil Angel was one you'll either really get on and love or one you'll really find disgusting and hate with little middle ground. Jake shows he can emulate, even surpass, Belladonna's recent hardcore lesbian BDSM flicks and the stroke value will be all the way with lots of fuck for the buck or leave you completely limp, earning a respectable Recommended from me as a result of weighing all the factors I try to consider in such titles. In short, Bitchcraft had a lot of bitches being bitchy to the max, serving up the BDSM type fare in heaping helpings for fans to enjoy far better than the grainy, shitty looking competition so if you're into this kind of thing, it'll be the best you're going to find anywhere in the states.
