Audio/Video Quality: Jack's Teen America: Mission 18 was presented in 1.78: anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for distribution by Digital Playground. The lighting was solid here, as expected, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. As is usually the case in the series (and related series), the visual elements of the movie were consciously designed to look as they did with a slightly rough look to support the thematic concept of the show where geeky Jack is trying to score women by use of his possible connections in the mythical beauty contestant pageant. The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what fans say about the production team led by Robby and Nick with the DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts. It should be noted that one of the scenes seemed out of place thematically; providing no less of a ride but still outside of the realm of the usual offerings from the series. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround (with a 384 Kbps bitrate) with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it.

Body of Review: Robby D. is one of those porn directors that probably should have been a highly successful director of action adventure mainstream movies; focusing all his efforts in a single title a year rather than the assembly line he sometimes found himself on when entering the jizz biz but I'm glad he stayed given his body of work at Digital Playground. His last movie for the company was Jack's Teen America: Mission 18; the sequel to Teen America 17 in the series set up to show Robbie as "Jack" a guy cut off from the family fortune in need of finding a job. As a spin off series, it has offered up more T&A than any of the Jack titles to date, usually focusing on youthful ladies having sex as a means of enhancing their chances to win the coveted title of the mythical beauty pageant he works for. It has been a change of pace from the getting into music video theme of the main series and truth be told, it tends to offer less BS and more tease so I have almost always liked the results. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that none of the couples used condoms:

Scene One: Tits, Nuff Said!: Gianna, the cute gal with large breasts as seen on the left hand side of the front cover, showed why her 22 year old body was fit for porn; even in a movie about teenagers. Scott Nails played the sound engineer whose eyes kept bulging out of his head, resulting in Jack chastising him for his unprofessional behavior. I rated it as Recommended though some of you might enjoy it more than I did if you're hot for most of the cast, the levels of replay value yet established by me at this writing. In short, Jack's Teen America: Mission 18 might have been missing Jana and Lacie but Sophia is very much under utilized these days so like Teen America 17, your mileage may vary. The technical values were better than the extras and considering how much the series has focused on certain aspects of porn, I hope the next volume is as good as the preview near the credits showed it to be.
