Extra's: My favorite extra was easily the 29:08 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by the lovely Kylie Ireland (thankfully, I recognize her voice after all these years as a fan). There was some problem with the vocal track skipping here, perhaps the microphone had a bad connection, with some extra sex/nudity and a fair amount of humor by Kylie (and, surprisingly enough, Christian, who was on a roll). There were also trailers to movies like the titular flick, Corruption, and others as well as a 7:32 minute long extended "show reel" from Corruption but that was it.

Audio/Video Quality: Perfect Creatures was presented in a letterboxed widescreen color offering with an aspect ratio of about 1.85:1 as shot by director Eli Cross for Sex Z Pictures. The lighting was on the low side most of the time but the HD camera work (I believe in 1080i though sadly released on this SD DVD version) was generally well done with the camera angles making the ladies look good and the lighting issues like tint only a bit annoying. There were some creative shots employed and the nuances were more readily apparent when I watched this a second time, but in all it seemed to be well shot and edited. There were some compression artifacts observed but not many, perhaps indicative of the bitrate which typically clocking in around the mid 5 Mbps range). The audio was in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a standardized bitrate of 192 Kbps, the separation minimal on the vocals and the dynamic range of the music on the mid to low end for this type of production. There were a few background noises in need of polishing up and the vocals taking preference over the music as the scenes progressed was appreciated.

Body of Review: Corruption was probably the biggest movie of last year, garnering scores of awards for just about everything after initial reviews skewered the production on a whole range of problems that largely did not exist. A few people suggested I overstepped by bounds as an independent reviewer in order to champion the multi-disc set, though I maintain to this day I was simply pointing out the merits more aggressively on forums online as a means to provide balance to those whose personal agendas went too far. As I wait for director Eli Cross to finish up his latest epic for Sex Z Pictures, I decided to take a look at one of his more compact efforts of late, a little feature called Perfect Creatures. The movie is a nod to the desire for the perfect mate, the theme having been handled numerous times before in adult as well as mainstream shows. The difference this time is that the director made a conscious effort to point out that perfection is in the eye of the beholder as well as noting that human emotions are so mixed up that perfection could never be achieved due to the human factor involved. That said, here is a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Dana DeArmond, best known as the internet porn princess on the bleeding edge of alt and hardcore anal porn, was up first as she took on Chris Cannon in a flashback sequence. She made numerous little moans as she took charge of his cock orally, vaginally, and even anally before the scene was through. She never said anything of consequence so those of us that enjoy dirty talk were left out in the cold but her skillful manipulation of penis was more than enough to speak for itself. The ball sucking, jerking off, and deepthroating she gave him all showed her aptitude for sex work, eventually ending with her appearing to swallow the load of population pudding but while her oral antics reigned supreme in the scene, her penetrative acts were decidedly passive (therefore weakening the appeal of them). In short, this was sure not the strongest opening scene in a porno that I've watched all week and I like Dana so your mileage may vary considerably.

Scene Two: Julie Night, playing a sexy brunette laboratory assistant, was up next on the couch with bald Barry Scott as the two discussed the science project. Barry wanted to prove to Julie that the perfect man could not be created in a lab so he was soon giving her his best shot at offering up some sexual action that appealed to her. Without music, the two stripped naked and she was slobbing his knob aggressively; almost with the intensity of her very best work, the gal knowing her way around a meat pipe. This led to her actively riding his cock, moaning and groaning as if he was hitting the right spot, until the resulting was of semen covered her mouth and face. His reluctance to spend a lot of time going down on her was enough to prove her point though and she was soon whipping out a vibrator to finish up the job he left "not quite done".

Scene Three: Sophia, the cover hotty with very pretty eyes, was up next as the scientist giving her android (Christian), a trial run. He was willing to please her in any way she wanted, spending copious amounts of time kissing and caressing her to the loud music and going down on her as though he wanted to do so. He really didn't spend much time down there before she wanted to savor his cock so they ended up in a 69 where she tore into his shaft orally as she sat on his face. The music thankfully stopped and they made all the appropriate grunts as they serviced each other, Sophia climbing on for a modestly active vaginal ride after that. This continued until the music picked back up and he busted a small nut on her shapely ass.

Scene Four: Annie Cruz and Julie Night were up next as they found Christian, now billed as the world's biggest sex toy", the perfect way to spend some quality time one afternoon. Testing him out for sports knowledge and using his sexually aggressive mode, the gals stripped him naked as they took alternating turns blowing him and licking his nuts; each adding in something different. I'm not that big a fan of Annie (she has decent performing skills but doesn't do it for me in terms of looks) but her blowjobs are almost as good as Julie's so the two pairing off on the guy was a nice sight. They tossed his salad of course (this is Christian after all) and each took his cock vaginally as well as anal with plenty of ATM for those into it, before the inevitable pop shot to Julie's ass cheeks. The gals were in good form as they did each other throughout the scene while taking advantage of Christian's rod as a mechanical add on more than anything else, Annie giving up some of her waterwork show before it finished up.

Scene Five: Trina Michaels, Georgia Peach, Julie Night, Sophia, Annie Cruz, Evan Stone, Brian Surewood, and Christian, were up last in an orgy scene taking place in one of the most infamous porn dungeons around (Eli and Kylie's downtown loft, complete with that metal cage and brick wall). Evan was the alpha male here and Brian seemed a close number two but the ladies all seemed to bounce around having a good time with oral, vaginal, and anal action in plentiful quantities. The editing was such that keeping track of the specific pairings at any given time was a bit tricky but curvy babe Trina was given a lot of screen time and Sophia's vocals were as loud as all the others put together, Mandi Slade, Loren, and Anastasia Pierce all gyrating in the background as the others screwed. It ended when Georgia took the facial and cumswapped it with Trina than Sophia took the massive wads to coat her face like a glazed donut, ending the movie with some dialogue reminding me to be careful what I wish for due to the implied ending by the bathroom sink.

Summary: Perfect Creatures by director Eli Cross for Sex Z Pictures was not the epic found in Corruption but it had some decent sex with appealing sexual athletes as well as a minimalist plot that should serve to make your significant other appreciate you all the more. The stroke factor and replayability were pretty good and the amount of fuck for the buck added up to a rating of Recommended for me. I would have liked the plot to be fleshed out a bit as the performers all seemed comfortable with the level of talking they did and the sex could have pushed the envelop a bit more than it did but Perfect Creatures, while far from perfect, was an entertaining little fuck flick that should hold us all over until Upload comes out in time for the awards season to begin in earnest.
