Extra's: The best extra was the 9:14 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that consisted partially of photoshoot material. Pete manned the camera for the most part (Johnny helping out at times) and fooled around with the ladies, getting some nice tease footage too. There was also a photogallery and cut shot recap, with a double sided DVD cover showing other titles on the second side.

Audio/Video Quality: Whatabooty 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Mr. Pete for Red Light District. The lighting was good and that helped keep the grain, video noise, and other flaws to a minimum Though the movie opened up to a bunch of grain so be patient). The fleshtones were accurate and the camera work was generally good with the composition of the shots enhancing the ladies' looks most of the time. There were no serious problems with compression artifacts (though the bitrate was often in the lower 4 Mbps range) or significant shadows to contend with so I found the picture appealing (as will most people that like solid, flat, lighting as RLD is generally known for providing) and acknowledge Pete for doing a fine job. The audio was nothing special although encoded in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate encoding. The processing done in post production aside, the vocals were seemingly recorded in monaural and the music not a big factor so it wasn't a problem but it wasn't anything worth extra points either. I'm glad the technical aspects were handled so well since some of Mr. Pete's older works were kind of weak in that area.

Body of Review: Mr. Pete has been directing at Red Light District for awhile now and his sense of the camera is different than most of his peers from what I've seen. This isn't to say he is weaker than them, just able to convey a different kind of visual to an extent. His latest release making it my way was Whatabooty 2, the sequel to Whatabooty 1 that I received with it. The series is devoted to gals with fleshy ass cheeks more than anal sex but a fair amount of that took place too for those that care. The general dynamic was to allow the ladies a short slo-motion tease where they danced around and then get into some heated sexual misconduct with various guys. What tends to set this series apart is the fun factor many of the scenes have, everyone enjoying themselves during the lensing of the action. Pete showed the ability to capture the raw energy here too, making the scenes quite strokable when the chemistry between the partners was even passable, though in most cases it was much higher from what I could see. Scene One: Aurora "Nikara" Jolie, the cutie whose ass graces the front cover, was up first and a wiser choice could not be had given her current status as an anal-only performer. Pete may still need to improve his technical matters some more but Whatabooty 2, like Whatabooty 1 before it, had a ton of ass to appreciate and the levels of fuck for the buck will keep you busy for a long, hard time unless you totally hate watching ass tease and heated sexual conduct.
