Audio/Video Quality: Virtual Sex With Shay Jordan was presented in 16:9 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Joone or Robby D. for Digital Playground. The lighting was very crisp this time in an apparent effort to enhance Shay's look that the harsh lights of most virtual sex releases would not handle as well. I prefer the harsher lights since they allow for the viewer to see every nook and cranny of the gal with crystal clarity but that's a notion that not everyone agrees with (Shay would look good wearing a burlap sack under a black light but you get my idea); thankfully seeing Shay pull off the heat due to her looks and tight body. There were no compression artifacts (the bitrate looking to maintain a high level in the upper 7 to lower 8 Mbps)and the clips were advertised as being shot on HD (high definition) so perhaps future releases will enhance the visual portions of the movie. The audio was presented in the usual 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround stereo in English (at 384 Kbps). I could hear everything she said and the music in the background of a few sections (tease and stories) was generic enough. The vocals were perfectly balanced this time, showing none of the audio flaws some of the earlier volumes in the series had. For the record though, there was little separation between the channels and limited dynamic range but since the vocals all came from a single source (Shay), there probably wasn't a lot that could've changed that fact.

Body of Review: Shay Jordan is one the latest hotty contract gals gracing porn with her exotic beauty, physically appealing figure, and playful demeanor shown in her work at Digital Playground. One glance at the lady and you will see exactly why she is becoming the company's latest sweetheart; joining the ranks of some mighty appealing women there. Over the last few years, the company has developed a number of signature series to showcase their contract hotties but the first of these series was the Virtual Sex With... series. The idea behind the series is to put the spotlight on the lone performer, any partners serving only to assist in the endeavor, with scant dialogue outside of some sexy anecdotes provided during a strip tease session. Well, after too long a wait, Shay is now presented in her volume of the series in Virtual Sex With Shay Jordan. The format is similar to previous efforts in the series with either Joone or Robby D. at the helm once again. The strength of the series has long been the appeal of the performer, giving fans the ability to fantasize that they are the one enjoying the physical company of the lady.

As always, Virtual Sex With Shay Jordan provides a set number of positions and sex acts, each offered up with the ability to have her talk dirty (in nasty mode) or seductive (in nice mode) as well as have her male partner ejaculate his load of population pudding. Unlike some of the earlier volumes in the series, the pop shot was not generated using computer graphics (CGI) although it did leave the impression of being something other than actual semen as the internal vaginal creampies seemed too thick to be real. In any case, it certainly looked better than the first and second generation attempts at pop shots, Shay squeezing them out on command as it were.

The first bit where Shay Jordan was given a chance to seduce was during a short Striptease in white lingerie. The pleasant music never detracted from the lovely lady and she kept slowly shaking her moneymaker in a heated manner. That led to a Stories section where she would continue dancing in a few bikinis with huge fake pearls/chains (and various other outfits that showed her lean figure to full advantage). At any time, you could skip to the foreplay or sex portions of the show. In the Foreplay section, you could select fingers, a vibrator, titty massage, and ass rub to warm Shay up, applying the nasty/nice dynamic. There was also an Oral section where she would pretend that someone was going down on her, though that has long been a weak point of the series. The sex portion included the usual four positions, reverse cowgirl, doggy, cowgirl and missionary as well as a titty fuck and foot position where she would jerk scene partner Scott Nails off.

In general, the Virtual Sex With... series dynamic was covered nicely here, the technical values looking better than ever thanks to the lighting and steady camera work, with the ~2 minute long clips used to give the viewer something to work with providing plenty of strokability and replay value. Shay's looks alone should sell a bunch of copies (for the clueless, she's the gal on the front cover) and fans will appreciate that there was more Shay Jordan fuck for the buck than any other title on the market at this time. This volume of the series won't change your mind if you aren't already a fan of the series but as far as a nice starting point to give Shay the spotlight, it was a very nice first step.

Summary: Virtual Sex With Shay Jordan by either Joone or Robby D. for Digital Playground was the perfect DVD to provide fans of Shay Jordan with a lot of crisp looking action starring the gal so prepare to pick up a copy of this Recommended release when it comes out next month if you adore her as much as several of my friends working in the industry, just don't expect a lot of extras since the DVD had none this time. In short, Virtual Sex With Shay Jordan was an excellent manner to see what the buzz concerning Shay Jordan is all about; the exotic hotty sure to turn many heads at industry events in the coming months from her effect earlier this year at the 2007 AEE Show.
