Audio/Video Quality: Ass Parade 12 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Preston Parker for release by Bang Bros on their website, and then on this DVD. One of the trademark issues the scenes shot for this series have are that the technical values always seem on the low side, as if consumers of the website will shrug off any problems as being "good enough" for porn, but the occasional POV nature of the effort was handled fairly well. The lighting tended to be whatever ambient light was available, resulting in grain, shadows, and video noise as frequent visitors to the scenes released by the company. This impacts the accuracy of the fleshtones and can be an issue if you care as much about the technical aspects of your porn as I do. That said, the five scenes here varied more than a little bit in terms of picture quality but the general quality wasn't as bad as some of the company's previous works, skating by on the energy factor provided by the performers, most of whom are established professionals (not the amateurs others claim highlight the series). The composition of the shots and the editing all served to provide a mixed bag too but this time showing some extra care given by the editor that made it more enjoyable. Still, it was better then a lot of his earlier work and the ladies had fun so I was largely forgiving of the mistakes observed; the bitrate hovering in the mid 3 Mbps area most of the time. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English in 192 Kbps, with the vocals on the really low end at times but not covered by droning music except for the very beginning of the scenes.

Body of Review: Preston Parker has long been associated as a director for Bang Bros. His strength as a director lies in capturing the raw energy and heat rather than technical perfection in terms of lighting, composition, and the other technical matters of modern porn. His work is not always consistently strong though so when he hits a winning streak, I'm the first one to say what a good job he has done. Such was the case with Ass Parade 12, the sequel to Ass Parade 10 that I saw earlier this year. This time, the company went all out to offer some of the best ass flesh in the business, using attractive gals as well as the most bootilicious babes available. One glance at the cast list should be enough for any raincoater to understand where I'm coming from, the cast getting ample time to shake their money makers before some heated sex took place. If that sounds appealing to you, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that a few condoms were used:

Scene One: Alayah Sashu and Spicy J., a couple of curvy gals with a lot of junk in their trunks, were up first as they stretched outdoors in the back yard. The ladies wore shorts that crept up their asses, especially as the gals stretched, bent over, and otherwise teased the camera before Jordan Ashley walked into the picture to save the day from strictly lesbian antics. I liked the booty shaking and athleticism displayed during the 24 minute long scene, the mattress outside kept away from prying eyes thanks to the heavy vegetation surrounding it. The gal teased a lot more without their bottoms on too but the blowjob and active vaginal riding were the best parts of the scene according to Jordan. The scene ended with his population pudding gracing the ass crack of one of the ladies, left there for posterity as the camera faded out.

Scene Two: Alexis Texas, the hot Texas blond, and cutie brunette Roxy DeVille, were all gussied up as they walked into the living room with too much make up but also skin tight clothing that accentuated their great bodies. Roxy went for a drink while Alexis provided superior tease in the bedroom at the capable direction of Preston, Jack Venice and Roxy soon coming into the scene to have some fun for the rest of the 27:09 minutes of the scene. I loved the oiling up portions of the tease by Alexis, especially when a second coat was applied by Roxy, but the couch served the ladies well as their focal point to blow and bone with Jack nicely. Roxy was the more energetic of the two but Alexis added something special as well, this being her second time to work with the stud (her first scene was with him in a movie distributed by Shane's World that jack directed). The enthusiasm levels were also high and seeing two of my favorites slob the knob of the Houston hero added something special knowing 911 was just a couple days away. It was a vaginal romp only, even though Alexis' asshole looked recently pried open, and the blond took the load to her ass where Roxy licked it off. Whew!

Scene Three: Lorelei Lee, a tattooed blonde displaying great energy in most of her scenes, incredible hotty Gianna, and youthful Dana DeArmond look alike Bobbi Starr, were up next as they took care of nasty Harley and Jack Venice after Lorelei and Bobbi met director Preston in what appeared to be the lobby of the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas (though Preston said it was the west coast). The scene was a long one that lasted 32:28 minutes, the original trio getting into a large car (it didn't look like a limo to me) as the gals provided a show as the car drove around the city. The ass tease alone was worth the price of admission, both gals playfully feeling each other up before picking up Gianna. The trio of gals was hot to trot with twat as the lengthy tease continued, the bunch arriving at a home before too long to settle in on a red couch. The oral and penetrative sex came immediately after the lesbian antics, the gals doing anal as easily as the vaginal, actively bouncing on cock while making out. The loads went to the faces and were swapped, this being the winner scene of the bunch for me due to my appreciation of the ladies.

Scene Four: Sunny Lane, Eva Angelina, and Holly Morgan; the ladies on the front cover, were up next in a public park on a sunny day that turned Sunny Lane on as she felt herself up for Preston on the concrete walkway. Sunny was the most enthusiastic rider of the trio of gals but Holly's junk in the trunk wiggled nicely too. Eva got hers early and then seemed shortchanged but it was another fine scene so I could see where they earned the cover (though the previous gals were better sexually). The ladies ended the scene by cumswapping the semen, not swallowing it but laughing as the camera faded out. Yum!

Scene Five: Sara Jay and Kiara Marie, were up last as their scene started on the floor of the 2007 AEE Show (where I had run into them a few times myself). I saw some familiar faces in the background as the ladies felt each other up on the convention floor, their limited clothing barely managing to cover the slightest bit of their fleshy bodies as they did the bump & grind (Gianna and a certain internet reviewer could be seen in the background if you looked closely enough). They took a break and went to the hotel room, the ladies bending over to show off their assets nicely as they continued to tease Preston. The ladies were soon joined by studly Robert Rosenberg for the 28:18 minute long scene, but only after they got all moist licking and massaging each other up first. Sara had the loosest caboose of the two gals, serving her well as she actively impaled her fleshy ass on his rod for some vaginal fun, Kiara showing she was no slacker either. Summary: Ass Parade 12 by director Preston for Bang Bros was one of those rare opportunities when I found the movie well worth a rating of Highly Recommended. Granted, the extras were light and the technical matters not the best I've seen from the company but the superior stroke value, the awesome replay value, and the award winning cast of hotties all gave the movie a wealth of fuck for the buck passion that I really appreciated as something the company should aspire to more often. The variety of scenarios helped make this a special edition for me and I wonder what the company will be able to do to top Ass Parade 12, the movie serving up a lot more fuckable footage than Ass Parade 10 ever did.
