Audio/Video Quality: Deeper 8 was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Celeste for Digital Playground. The high end equipment and skilled crew of regulars assisted director of photography Robby to make this release another of his more artistic attempts for Celeste, never going too far in the process as he stuck firmly to his gonzo roots as best he could under her guidelines. The lighting was reasonably solid here, Robby handling the technical matters for gal-pal Celeste, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes, though the composition of the angles was changed up a bit depending on the scene in question. The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit with Kurt Tortcher taking on the job of editing; with the DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts. This style of editing for the director seemed modified from some of the more recent stuff, perhaps longer static shots or the scale of the cuts themselves coming into play. The bitrate for the visuals hovered around the mid 6 Mbps this time with few flaws but not as high in resolution as previous efforts in the series. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English using a 384 Kbps bitrate; twice that of most porn made these days, with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. There wasn't much separation between the channels, if any outside of the rare and intermittent music, but the ladies were almost always clearly heard here.

Body of Review: About a year ago, Hannah Harper was widely thought to be the next contract gal at Digital Playground, as much by what was said as what was left unstated, as well as the sheer volume of her work for the company.
