Audio/Video Quality: Gina Lynn’s DD’s & Derrieres 3 was presented in the newly improved 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as it was originally shot by directors Gina Lynn & Travis Knight for Gina Lynn Productions. The lighting was decent and the fleshtones were almost always accurate with the amount of video noise minimal. The composition of the shots was such that the ladies were made to look pretty good but with Travis not working the camera much this time, it showed all too frequently. The colors and surroundings were accurate with the lighting plentiful which enhanced the look of the women nicely but it was not the best work to date by the director. There were no compression artifacts (the bitrate was higher the usual, often in the upper 6 Mbps range) or watermarks that I could see, marking this as a step forward for his style to showcase the ladies. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio tracks in 384 Kbps were okay and I could plainly hear the vocals of the cast at all times but the music still seemed a bit generic to me; an area that I have long fussed about.

Body of Review: Travis Knight is the head director for Gina Lynn Productions these days, occasionally sharing credit with his main squeeze Gina but almost always looking firmly in control of his movies. To me, his movies are less about technical excellence than trying to find a group of people able to have a lot of fun and instill some extra energy in their scenes, a tough proposition given the typical attitude shared by so many in the industry these days. That said, his latest DVD is Gina Lynn’s DD’s & Derrieres 3, the sequel to DD’s and Derrieres 2, where the emphasis was on large breasted ladies that use their implants as best they can while appreciating the hardcore lifestyle adopted by Travis & Gina. The scenes were unrelated and typically involved a minimal set up but the heat of the action was largely the result of the cast so familiar with each other that they had the kind of fun I would expect of them even if they were off the clock. Had the extras been better and a few minor changes made to the line up, I would have even given the movie a rating higher than the quite respectable Recommended but fans of the ladies will certainly find this one of the better offerings from the company of late thanks to the chemistry displayed more than the admittedly mixed technical values. In short, Gina Lynn’s DD’s & Derrieres 3, like DD’s and Derrieres 2 before it, will keep most of you engaged in hand to gland combat for enough sessions that you will keep hoping for the next volume of the series to be released; the operative word “released” key to what your balls will be doing with your own seed.
