Audio/Video Quality: Jules Jordan’s Glory Hole was presented in the same 1.33:1 full frame color the movie was shot in by director Jules Jordan for Jules Jordan Video. There was some variation in the lighting that added a bit of addition grain but I saw few other issues as the camera kept an active stance at providing the best angles to showcase the ladies considering the claustrophobic nature of the setting each scene was shot in. The editing helped in this endeavor too with a movie as long as this one needing extra care to make sure that there is enough tease but also heated sexual antics. One of the locations was too dark (the peep show booth) and the other was very bright (the bathroom stall) but each had an appeal all its own. The bitrate was on the low side yet there were no compression artifacts, the aliasing minimal and given the sheer amount of quality cooch here, only an uptight asshat would fuss too loudly (the bitrate hovering all over the place this time, typically in the 5 Mbps range but all across the board depending on the scene). The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (at 192 Kbps) offering that really didn't use any separation in terms of the vocals (there was some potential to do so here too). The dynamic range was also kind of generic, an area that seemed slightly better than previous efforts and an area that Jules could easily improve to make best use of the great many home theaters in the hands of porn fans everywhere.

Body of Review: Jules Jordan and his company, Jules Jordan Video, are widely considered the high end of gonzo for the levels of value they offer and the sexually wild antics that are so freely displayed in their releases. A great many of the titles coming from the company are even double disc offerings with such levels of fuck for the buck that fans create quite a buzz whenever one is about to be released into the marketplace. The latest single disc title from the director was something special in that it focused the ladies into a narrowly defined location where the anonymous set of cocks were waiting for them in Jules Jordan’s Glory Hole. Summary: Jules Jordan’s Glory Hole by director Jules Jordan for Jules Jordan Video was far from his best work in 2007 but it was clearly a lot better than most of his peers would have been able to inspire thanks to the thematic limitations of the anonymous sex so I rated it as Recommended. The return of Tiffany Mynx and Nikki Hunter added to the appeal and some of the others provided a wealth of stroke material too. The technical matters were hampered though and the relative lack of good extras were quite unlike the director to provide his fans so ultimately, while Jules Jordan’s Glory Hole was a good movie, it wasn’t a great movie as most of us have come to expect from him.
