Extra's: The best extra unique to the movie itself will be the 35:34 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jade Marcela. It was limited to interviews only but gave the ladies a fair amount of time to discuss where they were coming from, how much they enjoyed dominating the men, and a little about their careers. There was some sexual material but very little and most of that was toward the end. There was also a photogallery, some trailers, banner ads, spam, and a compilation of the pop shots from the scene (with a fold out cardboard case and Metro catalog stashed inside the DVD case). The second DVD included here gave it some serious value, my copy containing Air Tight #5 from years ago when Mike Quasar shot it.

Audio/Video Quality: Fem Dom: Mean Girls was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Vincent Voss for Metro Interactive/Toxxxic. I always like the enhanced resolution of an anamorphic widescreen offering but acknowledge that it is not standard in the industry just yet; some directors relying on old school looks designed for older televisions rather than the majority of TV's sold of late (that are widescreen enhanced). The lighting was on the weak side here, reducing the amount of grain, video noise, and other flaws directly related to lighting but some more would have been better. The compression rate was typically in the 5 Mbps area so I was pleased there were not a lot of compression artifacts as a result. The fleshtones were accurate and the level of detail provided was quite high for a Metro release but it wasn't substantially different than most mid to low range porn offered these days. The composition of the shots tended to favor the ladies, showing marked improvement from his last movie. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English offering using the standard 192 Kbps bitrate and for the most part, it provided a standard porn experience. The vocals were easy to hear and the music was pretty limited this time, sounding hazy and understated as well as generic as could be. I would have preferred it to have some personality but it seemed almost as an afterthought to me, along with several of the scenes.

Body of Review: Vincent Voss is one of the current directors for Metro Interactive that really doesn't make a lot of waves yet is responsible for a fair amount of their releases and/or production work, regardless of whether he is credited or not. Since I don't get many titles from the company, I really don't have much to compare to but his latest offering, Fem Dom: Mean Girls, was definitely a trip. The idea behind the show was to provide a series of five scenes where women would dominate the men, using various forms of light BDSM on them before mounting them with strap on dildos. Some guys like the attendant loss of control just as a number of ladies like to assume the mantle of power this affords them, the world full of different strokes for different folks. My primary exposure to this kind of thing is from Joey Silvera's Strap Attack series but you can find a lot of others that might suit you as well. As far as how this one compares to the rest of the titles on the market, it wasn't bad even if it will definitely be for genre lovers only. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Summary: Fem Dom: Mean Girls by director Vincent Voss for Metro Interactive/Toxxxic was not the best femdom release I've seen on a number of fronts, including technical matters, consistency of the partners having fun, or the scenarios presented but there was definitely enough material here for genre fans and those that enjoy whole movie extras to warrant a rating of Recommended. In short, Fem Dom: Mean Girls could have been tightened up a bit to better effect yet so many genre releases are poorly shot (worse than this by far) that aficionados will probably get a decent amount of fuck for the buck.
