Extras: The extras were minimal this time, the best one being the 8:31 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Juan too short to really offer much (at least compared to other such features in the past) but most of the ladies had at least a little time to chat with him. There was also a photogallery and a slip case for the DVD case, the second side of which had other covers.

Audio/Video Quality: Be My Bitch 5 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Juan Cuba for Red Light District. I'm familiar with his work at Platinum X Pictures/Red Light as a behind the scenes guy and his skills as a full fledged director at various companies has been getting pretty good, even if the rough edges are slow to disappear. The lighting was only average though and this led to some issues with grain, video noise, and shadows yet he did a reasonably good job overall in presenting a solid set of visuals. The composition of the shots seemed to enhance the look of most of the ladies, showing more improvement than most of his previous works. There were no compression artifacts (though the bitrate hovered around the lower 4 Mbps range) so even the mastering of the DVD was handled well and some of you will appreciate the lack of the formerly displayed watermark of the company logo in the lower right hand corner of the screen during the show. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo (in 192 Kbps) was in English but the actual audio appeared to be shot in monaural with the processing added later on (in the mastering part of the process). The vocals were generally clear but lacked any separation or dynamic range so this is an area that Juan needs to work more on (just like most of his associates in the industry). The music starting each scene was really poor but that was probably the only real surprise for me in terms of negative technical matters, the rest being pretty decently handled.

Body of Review: Juan Cuba is currently one of the few directors at Red Light District that clearly appreciates the ladies and the kind of kink that fans enjoy without going overboard into circus act sex most of the time. As such, I enjoy more of his works there than his peers, almost regardless of whom is being cast in the scenes (I'm one of many that is performer driven these days). While my own peers seem to feel this way too, limiting how many of Juan's movies I get to review, I scored a copy of his latest lesbian flavored fuck flick last week with Be My Bitch 5, a series I have not seen since Be My Bitch 3 by Mark Wood. The idea of the movie is simple enough; hook up five sets of lesbians to engage in slightly rough role playing fun using lingerie and toys to enhance the moment. Relying less on superstar presence than providing a variety of ladies to suit the tastes of fans, my first thought about the show was favorable. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Francesca Le, a long time favorite in porn that spends much more time behind the camera these days, was up first going down on fairly new anal princess Bobbi Starr, Juan slipping through the backdoor of the house to find them going at it. The gals were hot & heavy for each other, conveying a sense of chemistry and energy that appealed to me as they gave each other head, tongued ass, and spanked; Bobbi giving as well as she got from her idol. A wide variety of toys were laid out for their use and the gals showed the kind of "lost in their desire to get off" attitudes that made this first scene a winner, a serious emphasis on anal action always present. Whew!

Scene Two: Amber Rayne, a skinny subordinate with dark hair all tied up on the first floor rug, was up next as the playtoy of "officer" Louisa Lanewood; the skimpy stripper cop outfit appealing to Juan as much as me with Louisa providing a masturbation act in her fishnet hosiery before taking the act downstairs. Juan spent considerable time following Louisa's decent to approach Amber, a dildo "gun" in her hand to serve as her means of authority. The slow pacing at first helped elevate the dynamic between them, unlike the first scene where the ladies were fully involved from the get go, this building of tension worked even better. There were numerous toys used and both ladies role playing to the hilt on both sides of the control issue, the couch serving as their focal point as they licked, slapped, spanked, and fingered one another (with plenty of toy action too). The emphasis was on oral and vaginal action this time but both gals showed a decent level of passionate energy even if the chemistry wasn't as high this time.

Scene Three: Jessica Valentino and Alexandra Ivy, the gals on the front cover, were up next as Juan went back to the popular porn rental house to see Alexandra in charge. She provided the initial tease in her fishnet panty hose but to be frank, neither lady was all that physically appealing to me. Alexandra as a dominatrix carried a flogger and made Jessica masturbate on command for Juan before the strap on dildo came out for use. The verbal commands added to the heat of the scene and they slowly started to win me over a little bit but never really broke out from the pack enough to make the scene anything special. Despite a desire to do anal, the action stuck with oral and vaginal here too, the use of multiple toys okay but nothing special most of the time (fake porn orgasm screams included for free).

Scene Four: Lexi Love, the most outgoing young lady of the 2008 AEE, was up next with English tart Lacey Maguire, in a large conference room. Lexi was the boss and Lacey the subordinate; the Brit masturbating as Lexi berated her attire. Lacey's ass was sweet on the eyes so Lexi as dominatrix had her work cut out for her; treating Lacey "as a whore" befitting her attire. The slapping, spanking, and use of verbal commands to elevate the temperature worked for me but I've seen both of these ladies really shine bright in the recent past so my expectations were quite high. I enjoyed the oral sex most of all but the heavy use of toys (in which a little goes a very long way most of the time) weakened their pairing somewhat, Lexi's love of anal helping to restore some lost heat towards the end of the scene. The gals enjoyed their roles and it showed though so by the time it was done, I was left with the belief that it had a lot of replay value and strokability.

Scene Five: Gianna, a fleshy gal with a great attitude towards enjoying sexual behavior, was up last as the playtoy for presumably retired anal queen Sandra Romain. Each gal was at the top of her game, Sandra's devotion to extreme sex tricks well known throughout the industry as Juan said it was her "last day in America" so her sexy blue outfit did not last long as her "gift" of Gianna came into play. After Juan got in some fingering and plenty of ass tease with Sandra, Gianna was shown blindfolded to a chair with fishnet underwear hardly holding her goodies in. Gianna was looking especially fleshy this day, pleasingly so I might add, with her bountiful body flogged by Sandra as the playing continued. Sexually speaking, the action was similar to the other scenes except the level of BDSM action with the flogger and spanking being more prevalent. Gianna had a lot more pubic hair than usual for those of you into that kind of thing, the babe getting the majority of the toy penetration too. While I wouldn't say that either gal was at her absolute best this time, the waves of enthusiasm and chemistry compensated for it; the result being a fine scene to finish up the movie. Sweet!

Summary: Be My Bitch 5 by director Juan Cuba for Red Light District had a number of highlights worth looking at repeatedly and his technical expertise showed off the ladies fine for a single camera gonzo shoot so I rated this one as Recommended. The strokability, replay value, and casting all gave it an edge over so many of the generic releases coming out these days that while the extras were minimal and it wasn't as value oriented as some of the special edition, double disc sets released by Evil or Jules, I found it a nice set of clips that fans will appreciate. In short, Be My Bitch 5 was about as good as Be My Bitch 3 so fans of toy heavy, role playing, power control lesbian action should find this one to their liking.
