Extras: The best extra for most of you will be the 30:31 minute long bonus scene between Lichelle Marie and Justice Young from Busty Loads. I have long appreciated the scene and gave a description of it down below. For me though, the three segment long Behind the Scenes feature was better, starring Gianna (5:29 minutes), Phoenix (11:38 minutes), and Rucca (11:18 minutes); Gianna giving Brother additional CBT (cock and ball torture), more sex with Phoenix, and some comic exploits of the director with the blow up dolls before Rucca took over to give up the sex. Audio/Video Quality: POV Dream was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Brother Love for Shane's World/Voodoo House to be released in MPEG-2 on this SD version movie. The bitrate varied a lot but when I was paying attention, it seemed to hover around the mid 4 Mbps area, no compression artifacts observed while watching the five scenes offered up in the main flick. The colors were accurate but there was some tint noticeably present in certain shots, a few of them heavy on the yellow look and possibly multiple cameras since the edited scenes looked to be bouncing between two different settings. This was a little distracting for me but did not truly weaken the fantasies themselves as the composition of the POV (point of view) cameras angles were true to the themes each time. I venture to say that Brother put some additional thought into giving them the right "feel" and the almost sepia toned look of some sequences added to the mood as often as not. Unlike a number of advertised "POV" flicks on the market these days, this one stuck with the theme all the way, never losing sight of the two main dynamics present (the fantasy angle and the POV work) so you should be happy that it was another case of a Voodoo House production being marketed without the expected porn embellishments. The audio was presented in the typical 48 kHz sampling rate at 192 Kbps in 2.0 Dolby Digital but once again had no measurable separation between the two channels. The aural quality was decent in general terms as the ladies could be easily heard and the music was not distracting, but I still look forward to the day when production companies spend a bit more time on this aspect of their movies to elevate them from a largely generic status (for the audio at least).

Body of Review: Brother Love has long struck me as the type of director that worked hard at providing not only something different from the rest of the world but also put a lot of himself in every scene; be it those he performed in or simply those he directed (credited or not). Now that he's working for the subsidiaries of Shane's World, I've been told he will have more creative freedom to explore some of the kinks and sexual practices he was always held back from, the man himself always speaking highly of those that gave him various breaks but clearly wanting more room to grow as well. His latest work to make it my way this week was POV Dream, a series of five gonzo scenes shot in POV style where the director got to live out some of his fantasies, including an appealing rendition of a world renowned birthday wish, complete with staging to amplify the illusion of Marilyn Monroe. In some ways, this scene alone was among his most ambitious to date, so I dove right in to see what the Brother was up to these days. The company summed up the movie like this though: "Ever wanted to have an affair with Hollywood's most famous starlet, Marilyn, in the oval office? What about getting a check up from a busty Naughty Nurse? Ever wished your sexy blow up doll would come to life and show you all her tricks? How would you like to be of service to a lonely country housewife? What about fulfilling your fantasies with a masseuse that gives more than just a happy ending? All of these dreams can become a reality for you in this movie! Shot in such accurate point of view angles you will be sure you were there. These dream girls are so hot ... you'll never want to wake up!" Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Happy Birthday Mr. President: Victoria Vonn, the blond featured on the front cover looking like the classic Hollywood starlet, was up first and her rendition of the birthday song was more than cute, to say the least. It set the stage for her to blow Brother Love as though he were Jack Kennedy (JFK), taking her time as she lovingly slobbed his knob seductively. I know that rumors of a Marilyn Monroe sex tape have been circulating for years but even if true, would probably be a letdown given the recording media used not to mention the probability of Marilyn not living up to the fantasy of her sexual prowess. In this case, Victoria showed the Brother a lot of skill as he directed her to titty fuck him, what he liked orally, and the rest of the scene; generally whispering the orders as though he were getting a true birthday present from the gal. There were some scratchy noises at first (I thought to simulate the olden day recording style) and the filters employed to mimic the visual look of a golden fantasy weren't my favorite but her playful nature certainly elevated the scene to a very heated place as far as I was concerned. Scene Four: Country Girl: Phoenix Marie, the attractive gal on the right hand side of the front cover, was up next in what reminded me of a Playboy dream sequence (if you've ever watched a Playboy title, you'll know what I mean) that had her acting like a good old fashioned country gal on bridges and in a wooded area as she established her physical appeal before ever taking off any clothing. Like the others, she was partnered up with Brother Love and the abrupt change to her showing off her body was jarring, the scratchy noise coming back for a moment as he was fucking her pussy in bed. Phoenix made it clear that her body was his to play with in any way he wanted, Brother grabbing her neck and face as if to establish his dominance over the cute gal. Talk about upping the ante for other companies to follow! Summary: POV Dream by director Brother Love for Shane's World showed that when he hits a theme right on the head, it clearly works really well but it also showed that some of the work needed a bit more polishing up. His scenes with Gianna and Victoria were the best of the batch (Phoenix coming in a close third) as they showed something beyond mere gonzo being worked on yet POV Dream was like the latest in his point of view fantasy series for another company in how it approached certain aspects in straightforward manner so I rated it as Recommended. The credits listed this as the first of a series so I can only hope that Brother sticks to his plan to make increasingly better porn, requiring him to find just the right people to fulfill his fantasies on camera if he is to succeed. In all though, this was a lot of fun and if the director pushes the envelope some more, he is likely to show exactly why he should be given more room to expand his viewpoint.
