Audio/Video Quality: I Film Myself 7 was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by the ladies for Greedy Video using the MPEG-2 codec for the standard definition release. This was the latest release under the label and served to spotlight the company's willingness to try something new fairly well; with a lot of unpolished looking visuals used to add to the theme of the movie (a reality masturbation show where the ladies were in charge of their own scenes). The bitrate hovered around the mid 6 Mbps level but it was obvious the gals had limited experience taping themselves in POV fashion. The lighting was fair to moderate, minimizing the grain and video noise in large part, with the compositional matters being in need of some editing and better camerawork but again, that was part of the appeal of the movie; the gals controlled the cameras. The fleshtones were slightly washed out but in fairness to the movie, the theme wouldn't have worked as well if it looked crisp and clear. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English was presented in the standard 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate with no separation, minimal music and nothing to detract or add to the sex in large part. Some whispering could be heard at times but it wasn't all that bad or frequent, lending an air to the gonzo format.

Body of Review: Greedy Video has certainly been on a role this year with every one of their titles coming in view of my watchful eye receiving a good rating. Is this because they have lots of cash to send me with their screeners, the hotties they send over to my place in skimpy clothing, or just the result of trying something different in the crowded field of porn? Well, I plead the latter since I get to see a great many titles these days that show no imagination, no thought going into them, and little to stroke to; Greedy's fuck flicks all having shown me that something else worthwhile exists out there. The most recent title of theirs I took to review was I Film Myself 7, the sequel to I Film Myself 4, I Film Myself 3, I Film Myself 2, and I Film Myself 1 that I reviewed in the past. The series is full of scenes where female masturbation rules, though done in a firsthand manner by the ladies themselves rather than the more typical shows like All Alone 2 (which is professionally shot to reduce the raw edges that this series provides in such quantity). The back cover said it like this: "There's no stopping these girls now. Because the doors are shut and the camera is in their hands! First, watch Missy Stone, Jean Jacobs, and Kristina Rose rub their clits like a genie in a bottle. Then check out as Alexa Jordan, Scarlett Fay, and Penny Flame solo their way to a very happy ending. A girl and her camera - it's priceless!" Having had such favorable experiences with the series in the past and noticing that lovely Xcritic blogger Penny Flame was the lead hotty, I figured the lack of condoms and population pudding might really score here so I gave the title my undivided attention over the weekend and here is what I found:

Okay, having watched this one twice, I thought that skipping a formal break down of the six scenes made more sense than normal because there were no partners here and the action was decidedly familiar in each scene. The quick version is that the ladies took a video camera and toyed around with providing some tease, leading to moderately lengthy bouts of personal boning, typically using fingers and a vibrator in most cases. A few of the gals came across as being buzzed on something but fans of any of them will definitely want to check this one out as the quality of the footage was not as much an issue as when an intrusive director is taking charge.

By this, I mean that the quirks of the gals all came into play during their scenes, Eddie seeming to guide a few of them or perhaps edit out some of the bigger video issues but otherwise remaining quiet as the gals acted like they were making stroke flicks for servicemen overseas in need of relief. I can't fault the selection of ladies either since each of them had a slightly different appeal, Penny being the main reason I picked this one up (she was a delight too!) but none of the ladies letting me down completely in their scenes. If I were to give advice to future candidates for the series, I'd suggest that they skip using so many close ups (these tend to work the least well when the camera is moving and/or the lighting is low) but "be yourself" would apply too.

Bonus Scene: Fuck For Dollars 8 The first girl up is named Tori, and she is easily the hottest girl on the entire disc. As soon as the camera rolls Tori is striking up a conversation with two guys on the street. A quick camera change and Tori is already in the process of stripping naked while Alex looks on. The fun begins with Tori giving her man some sloppy wet oral. She showed all the energy and enthusiasm you could hope for. With the foreplay over Tori jumps his meat and rides him in the cowgirl position. They go on to fuck in a variety of other positions including some pretty intense doggy style. Summary: I Film Myself 4 by Greedy Video was not their very best work of late but it still adhered to the truth in advertising I like to acknowledge and appealed to the pervert in me sufficiently to rate it as Recommended despite the technical matters on display here. Putting more emphasis on raw energy instead of technical brilliance, it had some serious (and strokable) merit for fans, especially if you find this one on sale in the future. Penny Flame led the pack in terms of her sex kitten attitude but Missy, Kristina, and the others had some stroke value too. In short, I Film Myself 7 was at least as good as I Film Myself 4, I Film Myself 3, I Film Myself 2, and I Film Myself 1) but if you liked those titles for their female masturbation action; you will almost certainly appreciate this one too.
