Extras: The best extra for most of you will be the bonus scene from Big Wett Round Bootys and Ill Flows starring Menage A Roz, Brian Pumper, and Rico Strong. The cast list was helpful and some of you will enjoy the numerous trailers (most of the titles were from Brian's West Coast Productions releases though), cumshot recap, and photogallery, with the 2:37 minute long music video/trailer for the movie capping off a good selection.

Audio/Video Quality: Juicy Latin Coochie was presented in an 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color presentation as shot by director Brian Pumper for Evil Angel to be released in this 480i resolution, MPEG-2 offering in standard definition. While not the crispest, clearest picture I have seen of late, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the release, the video bitrate hovering around the lower 3.1 Mbps range when I spot checked it but hardly indicative of absolute quality in itself as the basic tenants of lighting were followed, limiting grain and video noise substantially in most cases, still showing some rough edges worth looking at for the future but it looked better than I have been told Brian's stuff generally is credited for with the composition of the camera work enhancing the ladies in most cases. Yeah, the editing needed some polishing up and the shaky camera panned in and out too frequently but it was not "as bad as a home movie" no matter who claims that to be the case. The fleshtones were fairly accurate and with some touching up, I suspect some of Brian's peers at Evil will be asking him for technical help (or at least those he hires). The audio was presented in a standard 2.0 Dolby Digital English had a 192 Kbps bitrate and a 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was limited. The vocals were easy to hear but often hollow, the music tending to be truncated to a few spots in the scenes and favoring Brian's ambition as a rapper.

Body of Review: Brian Pumper has long been a performer in porn, even venturing forth to direct at West Coast Productions awhile back to moderate success. While some claim the industry is biased against black males and do nothing about it, Brian decided to do his own thing and show the world that quality productions sell regardless (maybe even because of) race. I have not seen his works in the past but he is now distributed by Evil Angel and his latest title is Juicy Latin Coochie: Special Edition Set, a set of five scenes (six if you count the bonus scene from another movie) where Latina babes with chunky asses got the nod in showcased efforts. The company website said it like this: "The newest addition to the Evil Angel roster, B. Pumper, strays into latina-land for some black-on-brown bangin'! Paris Maine is a thin latin girl who shows the camera some generous tease then gets into a hot threeway with Rico Strong and Pumper, using toys and getting choked, face fucked and gagged; she makes periodic exclamations in Spanish and enjoys a double facial. Scene One: Paris Maine, the lean Latina seen on the middle of the right hand side of the cover, was up first in a scene with Brian Pumper and Rico Strong. In short, if Juicy Latin Coochie: Special Edition Set is any indicator of the director's future efforts at Evil Angel, I will need to pay much closer attention to what he offers up. Good work!
