Extras: The best extra was the bonus scene from Curvy Girls 1 that I described below in detail. The Behind the Scenes feature only lasted 7:49 minutes so it really did little for me as well but managed to provide some extra material for my spank bank and was welcome (the insect part goofy but Jenny's admission of coming all the time added some fun for me). Audio/Video Quality: Curvy Girls 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director William H. Nutsack for Elegant Angel using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec with 480i resolution. The camera work was solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows and the picture appeared to be crisp this time. The editing by Robert Laplanc was a bit too abrupt at times, never allowing the camera to linger long enough for the tease to set in or a position to work as well for me but that is directly related to personal taste so you may want to see for yourselves what I mean. I saw no compression artifacts (it was largely falling around the middle 3.9 Mbps video bitrate; on the low end but probably needed given the amount of material on the DVD) and the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the female performers as most of her work these days tends to do. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 192 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, plenty of room considering how little took place on it but leaving room for future efforts too, at least Nutsack providing another cute ditty for the ending credits.

Body of Review: William H. Nutsack has been on a roll for some time now, most of his gonzo releases showing his perverted nature melding perfectly with the hardcore sensibilities of Elegant Angel and founder Patrick Collins; the result being that almost every one of his movies is highly strokable with substantial replay value. That was why I was pleased to get in Curvy Girls 2, the sequel to Curvy Girls 1, a few days ago, the cast list including some of the best known hotties in porn such as Gianna, Ava Rose, Jenny Hendrix, Kristina Rose, and Abbey Brooks. The concept of the movie followed the first volume in the series in how it bypassed skinny gals with no meat on their bones for the fluffier kind of lady that many of us greatly prefer, using some warm up tease sequences, providing a bonus scene, and even some BTS footage showing the gals having a great time. In short, I expected nothing less than a very solid movie based on the merits of the elements going into its creation. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Still, it is tough to deny that ladies like Gianna, Abbey Brooks, Ava Rose, Kristina Rose, and even Jenny Hendrix were anything other than curvy as the title suggested to I rated the show as a high end Recommended. The technical values were generally well handled and the amount of fuck for the buck among the better values of the day even with the stated limitations of a few scenes. Had the tease been longer in each scene by a few minutes and Jenny allowed to work with someone more able to bring out her "inner whore", the rating probably would have gone up a notch, additional extras certainly in line to seal the deal. In short, Curvy Girls 2 was the kind of gonzo effort you should look for and check out as being above average thanks at least in part to the skilled manner in which director Nutsack plied his trade.
