Audio/Video Quality: Mother Suckers was presented in a solid 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Danny Case for Third Degree using the usual MPEG-2 codec favored for standard definition releases offered up in 480i resolution. The settings were bare bone basic which allowed for fair lighting that minimized the grain, video noise, and aliasing of the visual elements. The down side was that there was a need for more lighting and a steadier camera. The composition of the shots was generally favorable to the ladies for the most part but the almost random editing seemed to distract at times when the camera would zoom in on some blemish or other visually weak moment and be left in the final product. The video bitrate varied considerably but seemed to hover around the mid 3.9 Mbps mark, few compression artifacts observed and the overall impression given to be favorable despite some grain and soft focus issues at times. I also found the colors to be somewhat saturated, lending an air of fakeness to some of the scenes that they simply should not have had. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 192 Kbps standard under a 48 kHz sampling rate, the vocals showing no separation but the minimalist opening music giving the slight impression that it did matter to someone to add in some head space. The dynamic range was otherwise limited but this being gonzo porn, I really did not expect a whole lot in that regard.

Body of Review: Danny Case is one of the friendliest directors I've ever met, his love of the ladies especially acute when he has a few drinks in him. Now that he has devoted all of his efforts to directing for Third Degree (and related companies), his unique vision of what works (and what doesn't) should become even clearer, his lack of technical expertise balanced out by the often heated chemistry he gets out of his performers. His latest fuck flick coming to me was actually not a fuck flick at all so much as a suck flick, a set of twelve scenes starring some of the most notorious MILFs in porn blowing the director and others in Mother Suckers. Truth be told, some of these ladies are not technically MILFs at all since they do not have children and a few of them were slightly young to be considered old enough for the term but overall, this was one fine selection of experienced cock suckers that wasn't a compilation effort. Ladies like Lisa Ann, Francesca Le, and Julia Ann are always welcome in porn for me but some like Tina Tyler came out of retirement as did Melissa Monet, and semi-retired Rayveness to make this a sweet little oral experience. Had Ginger Lynn, Shayla Laveaux, Tiffany Mynx and a few others joined the cast, I would pretty much feel obligated to nominate it for every award show I participate in but even then, there was so much to enjoy that splitting hairs seems silly.

Summary: Mother Suckers by director Danny Case for Third Degree was a solid Recommended for me, the quality in female casting elevating the generic theme a notch with the tease adding some replay value for fans. If not for a handful of mediocre hummers and some fake pop shots, it would have been even higher on my scale but this was still one of the best blowjob-only titles using experienced ladies at the helm and deserves recognition for being better than average. In short, Mother Suckers was a treat to watch and fans of the cast will be reminiscing about their favorites for some time to come, the strokability factor high here even for those that foolishly prefer the flavor of the week types claiming to be 18 given the devotion displayed.
