Audio/Video Quality: Bad News Bitches #4 was presented in a decent 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Joe Loughlin for Juicy Entertainment to distribute under the Pink Kitty banner. It was encoded in the usual MPEG-2 with a 480p resolution, the outdoor scenes better lit and therefore less grainy but overall looking pretty clear in most cases. There were some compression artifacts and edge enhancement seen but I was bothered more by the editing and composition of the scenes. The editing showed some sparks of delight but it showed a lot more times when it appeared rushed, the video bitrate hovering around the 4.8 Mbps area when I spot checked it. In all then, it was very average looking other than those issues, the choppy editing during the sex scenes not the worst I've seen of late, my impression that previous volumes of the series looked better (admittedly, I only saw a few of them and briefly for voting purposes, not getting to keep them). The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a 192 Kbps bitrate and a 48 kHz sampling rate, the vocals sounding hollow much of the time. Typically in feature porn, there is more emphasis on music and special effects too but this was not the case, even some of the scenes hard to hear due to the manner in which they were shot.

Body of Review: Juicy Entertainment has been jumping on the Sitcum/porn parody banner of late with a degree of gusto, the many labels they distribute feeling the pinch of the economy as much as any of their peers. One that stood out as appealing enough for me to select for review was Bad News Bitches #4: Back In Training!, having seen the last two volumes a single time. A combination of "Bad News Bears" and "A League of Their Own" in many ways, the movie detailed the ongoing feud between a ladies' softball team and a greedy developer, the real bad news being that Penny Flame was limited to a cameo role this time. He buys the mortgage for their school and they play to get it back from him, most of the details cast aside for expedience sake in the pornified feature. The good news was that there were a lot of attractive ladies present such as Alexis Texas, London Keyes, Kagney Linn Karter, and Brynn Tyler, each of whom could easily serve as inspirational for those of you at home seeking to play a few rounds of pocket pool. That said, I was not surprised when I found out the amount of FFF (fast forward fodder) most of you will skip through to get to the sex was pretty high but as someone that watched the flick from front to back, you won't be missing a whole lot here if you stick with the sex only. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Alexis Texas, London Keyes, Bryn Tyler, Ashli Orion, Kagney Linn Karter, Audrey Bitoni, Jordan Kingsley, and Kayla Carrera, were up first in a classroom orgy together. Lesbian orgies are one of the most difficult things to get right in porn and while this scene showed some promise at times, the noise level was such that the aural experience was greatly weakened, the camera moving about as though someone couldn't make up their mind about which group of gals they wanted to shoot most. If anything, there should have been four cameras working the room but instead we get a lot of teasing clips of the ladies eating each other out, fingering one another, and using toys to get off. I know that sounds pretty good, especially considering the cast at hand, but just as one section got heated, the camera would move away (and the production crew was heard several times in the background acting like they were unsure of what they were doing). In all, it did not kill the scene for me but I think I'd like it better without the vocals; a very rare circumstance for me.

Scene Two: Alexis Texas, the bountiful booty babe so many adore, and curvy cutie Jordan Kingsley, were up next in the trailer with drunken bum Randy Spears. They picked him up with promises of beer, taking him back to their home to clean up; rewarding him sexually as a huge motivator. Alexis dropped down to slob his knob and Jordan jumped in after he felt her up a little, the leap from Penny to Randy as coach kind of weird since it was not explained. There was some enthusiasm though to make up for the technical limitations, the modest amounts of chemistry helping too when London and Bryn paired off with Evan (and Jenner took Ashli into the locker room for a private consultation). Ashli took a facial as did London, London sharing it orally with Bryn for a sloppy finish.

Scene Four: Tory Lane, a curvy brunette wearing striped booty shorts and a crop top barely holding in her twins, was up next in the makeshift gym to get some assistance from Marco Banderas and Ben English with her batting skills. Tory was marvelous as an oral expert, her ability to actively ride them vaginally as well as anally no surprise to this reviewer, the resulting DP proving she was a match for both of them at the same time. I liked that there was a fair amount of medium camera shots too, the couple banging by the fireplace until he jerked one out on her feet.

Scene Six: Kayla Carrera, the gal in the front of the pack on the cover, and blond Jordan Kingsley, were up next sharing the rod of muscular Billy Glide. He played the bastard lawyer working for Slick and the gals, seeking to stay out of trouble, worked him over to get him on their side. The ladies reading the documents during the sex struck me as weak too, the facial with cumswap closing it all down for the ending ball game sequence.

Summary: Bad News Bitches #4 by director Joe Loughlin for Juicy Entertainment was one of the weakest volumes of the series for me since the sex was inconsistently warm, the plot piecemeal at best, and all the feature elements hampered by the casting so I rated it as a Rent It, the positive parts meriting some attention but still outweighed by the lackadaisical manner in which the rest of the show was put together. In short, Bad News Bitches #4 showed a decline in a popular series, my hope being that future volumes pick up the slack a lot more than this one did.
