Audio/Video Quality: Titlicious was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground using the MPEG-2 codec for a modest 480i resolution. Shot last year, the production certainly benefitted from the editing by Nick P, the camera work slightly shaky but serviceable all the same, his opening graphics looking really cool. The fleshtones were on the pale side here but the standard definition version of the show was pretty decent too, even if lacking lots of little details noticed on the previously reviewed Blu-ray version. Surprisingly though, there was a fair amount of grain and some video noise, the mastering process only able to clean up some of it due to the levels of lighting on the original productions. The video bitrate seemed to hover around the 3.4 Mbps mark most of the time, perhaps the company should ditch the trailers if it means impacting the picture quality so much. Otherwise, the composition of most scenes wasn't the best the company has offered of late, chopping off heads and leaving way too much empty space on the sides of the screen, making me wonder if Robby was beating off instead of supervising the crew when this was shot. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English (using an audio bitrate of 384 Kbps and the usual 48 kHz sampling rate) with a minimalist leaning similar to the rest of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. While there wasn't much separation between the channels though the ladies were almost always clearly heard and their moans added to the enjoyment of the show for those keeping track.

Body of Review: Robby D. and Digital Playground have been such a productive pairing of forces over the years that he has become their de facto lead director, shooting virtually everything of theirs that comes out these days (though under the supervision of Joone on the big budget releases). As such, it is not unrealistic to expect a lot of his work to look alike, the guy using the same crew and maintaining such a busy schedule taking a toll over time (believe me, I know exactly how it is). Still, while much of his work is entertaining for those that aren't really into the hardest of hardcore porn, his releases typically lack decent extras and often have running times less than half of what the competition provides so that was why I had mixed feelings when I finally got a chance to see the standard definition edition of Titlicious earlier today. Yeah, the extras sucked donkey balls worse than usual but the up side was that Robby only sacrificed some of the picture quality to offer up an almost competitive running time of just less than three hours. The focus of the movie was on large tits of course, the five scenes including a lot of tease where the ladies used their big racks to impress their male partners. My main interest here was for the scene starring Shyla Stylez though, most of the others delegated to the second tier breast squad from past experience.  The company website described the movie like this though: "With the debut of the series "Titlicious", Digital Playground

Summary: Titlicious by director Robby D. for Digital Playground had a great scene starring Shyla Stylez and Mick Blue as well as a few others worth some seed but the overall quality was much like many of the director's works of late, just not as full of chemistry and passion so I rated it as a Rent It. I was okay with the tradeoff between running time and loss of picture quality but the inclusion of lame extras when the space could be better used for a bonus scene, a BTS feature, or pretty much anything a medium to high end company would offer on a release struck me as problematic when paying such a premium for a title (you rarely find their movies much cheaper, regardless of format, than about $24). In short, Titlicious was not a bad fuck flick by any means but I guess I expect more from a company world renowned as an innovator than this, the previously reviewed Blu-ray version indeed looking better as expected.
