Extras: The best extra for some folks will be the 29:10 minute long bonus scene from Going Deep that my pal Ravyn described in detail below. For my tastes, I preferred the 23:15 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Mike Maravich which began with a lengthy interview of Savanna Samson but soon included footage from the set as well. There was a photogallery, some trailers, and spam as well as the listed positions menu for each scene as listed on the back cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Screwed Over was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480p resolution for the SD version. While not his most visually stunning work of late, it had a straightforward look to it that worked in some ways for the thematic material here, though some technical polishing up probably kept it in the vaults as long as it did, editor Palo Alto handling those chores well enough. The composition of the camera angles was fairly optimal this time, the director balancing his usual dedication to plot over sex with the strokable aspects this time, yet enhancing his thematic approach with B. Skow on camera to capture the sex better. The fleshtones were generally accurate though but the DVD mastering was well done (if only in a bitrate hovering around 3.4 Mbps in SD, making it a mixed bag in terms of visual quality; leaning towards average at best. There was also a company watermark that I wasn't too keen on but most of the camera work seemed to keep this in mind, keeping the majority of action far away from the lower right hand corner. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 256 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent, some of the score meriting a nod from me.

Body of Review: Paul Thomas may no longer be under contract to Vivid Entertainment as a director but I suspect his steady stream of releases will take awhile to run out given the manner in which the company stores so much stuff. That said, one of his latest releases is called Screwed Over, a series of four unrelated vignettes about couples that have been well, screwed over, the big selling point this time either Savanna Sampson featuring in half the scenes or one of Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses participating in a scene. For the bean counters out there, the first scene was better described as two scenes stuck together as well but ultimately, the better selling point would be having Skow on camera to allow for longer (and stronger) scenes. The back cover described the movie like this: "Paul Thomas presents five tales of lust and lies, featuring Holly Sampson... who apparently knows a thing or two about deception. See the alleged "seventh mistress" of The Golf Great, as she battles Vivid superstars Savanna and AJ Bailey for sexual supremacy. Also with two scorching anals, and an interracial scene you won't soon forget. PT tells the tales. B.Skow shoots. Have your nine iron ready." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Peckers: AJ Bailey, one of the smartest performers in porn, and curvy Kayla Paige, were up first with Billy Glide and Mr. Pete. The idea this time was about a photographer trying to get some shots of a construction worker's penis for her exhibit, a jealous girlfriend intervening when things get a bit out of hand. Summary: Screwed Over by director Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment was amusing enough in a light manner, the four scenes offering a variety of action including two anals and an interracial bout of boning between Marcus and Savanna so I rated it as Recommended. The strokability and replay value were enhanced by the manner in which the scenes were shot yet upgraded from generic gonzo by way of Paul's witty dialogue and scenarios so it may work well as a crossover flick for strict genre fans. In short, Screwed Over was a showcase for ladies such as Savanna Samson enjoying herself as she took on Marcus and Ben English in two respective scenes but all of the action had enough heat and energy to get a guy off a number of times so give this one a look if you're interested, just don't expect an expose of Tiger Woods' love life by Holly Sampson since it was not meant to be.
