Audio/Video Quality: Official To Catch A Predator Parody was presented in a solid 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Mike Quasar for Zero Tolerance, this version presented in 480 resolution using the MPEG-2 codec with the video bitrate hovering around the 5.8 Mbps area when spot checked. While Mike has long been one of the top talents directing porn, his employers have not generally seen fit to give him the resources to compete in the feature market, even the wildly popular sitcum market, despite his proven ability to make people laugh. Well, this has changed of late with Mike tackling technical directing jobs for the folks at Pop Porn, their titles almost always impressing me as being better than generic sitcum copies of shows that are "pornified", at least in terms of humor and replay value. His ability to bitch slap most competitors in terms of quality of technical expertise and poking fun at topics now established, Mike was given the go-ahead to try his hand in the genre with this flick. The look of the show and mannerisms were not precisely copied or paid homage to but poked fun at and pornified like only Mike seems able to do, making this one of my favorites to date (despite rumors that it was shot on the cheap and quickly). The minor visual elements not looking as crystal clear as usual managed to look a lot more like the show than expected, the sex handled very well indeed and the composition of the camera angles flattering to the ladies. The audio appeared to be a slight step up from the generic fodder on the market today too, using the same 2.0 Dolby Digital English with 48 kHz sampling rate and 256 Kbps aural bitrate but combining the background noise and cheesy elements needed to best parody the original show. In that sense, the original show sounds lame to begin with so Mike polished up the proverbial turd to make this a winner in spite of the original in my estimation, kudos to the director for going all out.

Body of Review: Zero Tolerance is one of the better known gonzo production companies, also producing some of the best sex toys via their Evolved Novelties subsidiary. Over the last year, the company has tried finding a secure niche in these uncertain times, expanding into parodies via director Mike Quasar who, along with Nate Liquor and some fellows from Pop Porn, have started a movement to move past cheesy parodies and into the realm of comedy porn; a hybrid with strokable sex but also lots of laughs for those of us aware how the two genres really can live together. As the fates may have it, Mike still provides technical expertise to others at the company and still finds time to make other projects, his latest a clever look at predatory hotties chasing down younger men in the form of Official To Catch A Predator Parody. Unlike the original Dateline NBC series that sucked so hard it was forced off the airwaves, this one focuses on people older than 18 having a good time, the cougars chasing men somewhat younger than them a lot more palatable than the pedophile orientation of the original show. With babes like Julia Ann, Raylene, and India Summer (to name a few), I had high expectations of the show with regard to the revised premise and how heated the sex might be. The back cover described the movie like this: "In this XXX spin on the popular television show, oversexed cock-hungry MILFs scour the internet for younger "barely legal" playthings to pound their seasoned snatches. Well, not so fast you predatory pole snatchers - we've set up a sting operation that catches every crazed cock-sucking, perverted pussy pounding and frenetic ass fucking - on video. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

India Summer

Scene One: Julia Ann, the gorgeous woman featured on the front cover of the production, was up first as a cheating wife trying to pick up James Deen. The dialogue was actually pretty funny, supporting the director's contention that Anthony Rosano is among the best actors in the industry at this writing (a point I routinely disagree with after seeing his work for other companies by the way). In any case, when faced with a choice of leaving or having sex with James, she chose to jump his bones, the two pawing at each other on the large bed with a lot of passion and enthusiasm. That the two had a surprising amount of chemistry helped make this a winner of a scene, the guy going down on her before she blew him and they vaginally bumped uglies. Julia also did some taste testing between positions but her active riding skills made this a killer scene altogether, the ending wad of genetic juice landing on her mouth and tits.

Scene Two: Mellanie Monroe, playing a housewife with bountiful breasts, was surprised by husband Anthony Rosano, who as the show's host could not keep his television show separate from his home life. There was a lot of replay value, strokability, and chemistry to elevate the movie but the comedic clips pushed it up that extra notch, proving Mike's material can enhance a movie like Official To Catch A Predator Parody, his best work still to come.
