Audio/Video Quality: Asslicious 2 was presented in two versions as credited to director Robby D. at Digital Playground; a standard definition volume in 480 resolution using the MPEG-2 codec and a 1080p version using the AVC codec under the high definition Blu-ray so many seem to prefer. As the main man in charge of shooting flicks for the company, there is always a consistency in terms of the lighting, the amount of close up shots, and framing using the vaunted RED camera system. While there was certainly a "sameness" to the look of the scenes, the production made an attempt at enhancing the physical attributes of the ladies, more often than not succeeding even if all the pairings did not work out. Raven Alexis looked fine though and I suspect that as the main draw of the entire movie, her fans will be happy with the way she was treated. The standard version's bitrate hovered around the 6.3 Mbps mark while the Blu-ray seemed more apt to clock in around the 20.1 Mbps mark, the enhanced visual elements working best on the scenes with the least amount of post production interference. Lastly, the editing by "Not Nick P XXX" or "The Editor Formally Known As Nick P" was again solid to the point of nearly saving the movie's rating, the man as talented as they come but limited by what material he is given to work with. The Blu-ray audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English using a 384 Kbps and 48 kHz sampling rate but the standard version was at 448 Kbps (not quite as crisp nonetheless); higher than that of most porn made these days, with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, but the vocals did not always dominate the audio track as I like it so your mileage may vary. There wasn't much separation between the channels, if any outside of the intermittent music, but the ladies were always clearly heard here.

Body of Review: Robby D. is the name of the lead director employed by Digital Playground. Over the years, he has been credited with scores of movies shot for the company, his relevance to their expansion into gonzo typically described as a major development. The latest flick of his is called Asslicious 2 and stars contract hotty Raven Alexis, the fetching young Jennifer Garner lookalike featured on the center of the front cover. The downside of the production is that she only stars in a single scene but given the quality level of the rest of the ladies, and men for that matter, the movie showed some potential for offering strokable heat and replay value, this reviewer figuring he'd have to tough it out to decide whether it met Robby's usual standards of quality. In short though, Asslicious 2 most certainly did have some great looking ass, most notably that of Raven Alexis, and will serve the needs of couples-friendly consumers better than the hardcore flicks put out by some of the better known gonzo guys at JJV and EA. In terms of the weak extras or the degree of couples-flavored sexual exploits offered up, your mileage may certainly vary considerably but my toy tester adores Raven Alexis as much as anyone else at the company and she was on the fence about suggesting the Blu-ray version as a recommended flick. I admit that part of the issue came from the title's sub-header that suggests all the action in the movie was anal based ("Rear Entry") so if that isn't an issue for you, by all means feel free to check it out more readily because each lady in the movie looked physically appealing.
