Audio/Video Quality: This Ain't Glee XXX was presented in a colorful 1.78:1 ratio, anamorphic widescreen, offering as shot by director Axel Braun for Hustler Video using the 480 resolution and MPEG-2 codec typical of standard definition projects. There appeared to be an attempt to do this one quickly but in a fun manner, paying closer attention to the sets, the clothing, and other visual elements of the movie this time, the folks at Hustler wisely listening to those who point out the best way to make a sitcum work. The editing wasn't as tight as the best genre efforts but Claudia Ross seemed up to the task of polishing up Axel's raw footage nicely enough, the video bitrate hovering in the 3.9 Mbps area most of the times I looked. The standard definition version of the flick had few compression artifacts, only a bit of noise & edge enhancement, and proper lighting to assist in making the movie look more like the original, the art direction credited to the director himself. In short, in terms of the visual aesthetics, this title was better than the other parodies of the show I've watched over the years, similar to most of Axel's works in the sitcum genre. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a 224 Kbps audio bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, the script credited to Marc Star seeming to be much better than his last effort I checked out, the musical interludes infrequent but actually kind of amusing (and entertaining beyond expectations). In that sense, the aural aspects of the movie benefited by the help of Drew Rose and Mr. Bones, the other audio factors reasonably well done too but the cute music video montage work impressed me as much as any such work I have seen in some time. If there were more musical interludes during the sex scenes of a similar nature, I would have rated this aspect even higher.

Body of Review: Axel Braun has been one of the rising stars of porn parodies for the last few years, his main body of work released by Hustler Video. While his fuck flicks have been somewhat hit or miss with me, I can honestly state that I go into each of them with an open mind but not an empty head. Others may be driven by personal friendships or advertising dollars but I try to offer up something different, a view of such works that is personal in nature but also covers the basics at least as well as anyone else out there, stating my biases as freely as possible rather than hide anything. As a result, someone suggested I review one of his titles that I have not seen the original of, this leading to today's review of This Ain't Glee XXX. I know the basic idea of the series is to showcase a high school glee club on the rebound, all the usual teenage drama included to the point of irritating me when I sat down to check out a little once this review was largely finished. Surprisingly, it was a pretty decent look at the show but also as a porno with some pretty solid casting (noting that the original show takes huge liberties with age like porn tends to do, even more in this case for the mainstream but less for the sitcum being reviewed). While I wouldn't call it the most outrageous parody ever as the back cover did, it was entertaining on several levels, meriting extra praise. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The witty lyrics again reminding me of the team sounding much like an adult version of Weird Al Yankovic, she ended to go down on him in the makeshift office, aggressively blowing him with some streamers flying around to punctuate her lack of concern about keeping it dainty. She used her hands, eyes, and mouth in conjunction with one another to ready his rod, undoing her plaid skirt to grant him access to her snatch for licking. Sadly, he only gave her a few licks before he started banging her pussy hard, Andy giving a lot of aural encouragement for him to bone her harder and deeper as she liked. Summary: This Ain't Glee XXX by director Axel Braun for Hustler Video was a surprisingly coherent, entertaining (to a degree), and sexy little romps despite what a few naysayers claimed before the flick came out (their objections being the student/teacher aspect in some proposed scenes) so I rated it as Highly Recommended. In short, while I admit that my knowledge of the original series is minimal at best, This Ain't Glee XXX seemed a lot like Axel is adjusting to his role as the prince of porn parodies, his ability to cover most of the bases with increasing frequency showing he is growing into the role nicely so give this one a look. The musical interludes enhanced the movie beyond some of the parodies catering to superficial aspects, the overall dynamic relating very much to the series (I had to go watch a few episodes for comparison). Good work!
