Audio/Video Quality: Montana Fishburne XXX was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as distributed by Vivid and shot by an uncredited cameraman. While many "celebrity" sex shows are terribly grainy and have limited appeal on technical aspects, there was about 20 minutes worth of decently shot POV footage here, rounded out by the expected jerky movements, tilted camera angles, and close ups that the cameraman just couldn't keep under control. Some of the footage was at a mall, more in a car driving around in public, and still more outside of the public purview, the balance of which was better than average for this type of production even if it fell short of what a professional like director B. Skow might direct for the company. The MPEG-2 encoded production sported a video bitrate of around 3.70 Mbps when I spot checked it, occasionally substantially more, the editors likely keeping as much footage as possible despite the limitations of the cameraman's ability. There was grain, video noise, and serious issues with composition but Montana could be clearly seen most of the time, even her displays of public nudity generally done okay, the company logo added onto the lower right hand corner of the screen. The audio was captured by the built in microphone and enhanced during post production to a Dolby Digital 2.0 English with a 48 kHz sampling rate and 256 Kbps audio bitrate, the background noises filtered a bit at times. I did not hear as much aural looping as in previous releases of this nature (the same goes for the video) but it was not as crisp as most professionally shot porn.

Body of Review: Vivid is one of the best known major porn production companies in existence these days, their contract system and long history of quality productions catering to couples having won scores of awards. These days, they are taking a break from focusing all of their best energies on contract performers to really push celebrity sex tapes, the market for them far less impacted by the pirates stealing content and the voracious public demand making even the best porn numbers pale by comparison. The latest such movie is called Montana Fishburne, her celebrity status relating to her father more than anything else (Laurence Fishburne having proven his talent the old fashioned way a great many times). Simply put, the movie is a collection of footage shot by her boyfriend "J. Pipes", a scrawny dude with a small dick, in POV fashion, additional material of her walking around a mall added in to flesh out the production. My review is going to be a quick overview given the details provided by publisher Christopher Thorne in his well received Review, some additional pictured used to showcase the gal whose only other porn release (with Brian "what paperwork" Pumper) had her stage name as "Chippy D."

The movie is more than an hour long and follows the uninhibited Montana as she engages in wild, erotic adventures in a car, a hotel room and even in public while visiting a mall! "I view making this movie as an important first step in my career," said Montana. "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid. I'm hoping the same magic will work for me. I'm impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it." Okay, after wannabe "star" Montana Fishburne walks around the mall and shops for clothing, she flashes boyfriend J. Pipes her ass, tits, and pussy a little bit. This leads them to going at one another in their car as they drive down a major street, her ability to give road head truncated by their need to pull over to complete the deal. No condom was used and while she was moderately active during some of the vaginal plowing, her rough edges certainly showed in abundance (as did her many blemishes "down there"). Still, she was an attractive looking gal when her clothes were on and I doubt many straight men would pass up the chance to bang the light skinned black gal, her ability to let loose with her piss such that I could see her working with Flower Tucci as a follow up. The movie followed her from the roadway to a parked car to a bathroom and motel room before the couple went at it on a bed. She took facials like a seasoned professional, small popshots to her other body parts, and proved that while she is about as much of a porn "star" as anyone else in their first or second title.

In terms of appeal then, she would merit the status of a second or third tier black female performer still learning the ropes but for her father's status in Hollywood, the gal rarely giving me the impression that she was truly getting off but able to fake it well enough for those that don't really care. Given the tremendous amount of mainstream and internet publicity this one has had, I suspect it will sell enough copies to fend off many a bill collector at Vivid too, no wonder they offered her some additional work for a follow up handled more professionally. For her part, Montana has clearly seen many cocks in her mouth and savored the taste of the guy's genetic juice enough to want more, my bet being that she will eventually have a reconciliation with her estranged dad that has currently disowned her. For me, the replay value was limited enough to rate this as a Rent It but the 19 year old seemed frisky enough to merit extra consideration too, making this a personal judgment call less readily impacted by objective analysis. In short, Montana Fishburne XXX will appeal mostly to the train wreck crowd but she showed more performance skills than some of the industry types she so easily dismissed in her interviews (a few are licked above) so check it out to decide for yourselves.
